I just wish Leverkusen stays consistent again this second part of the season and wins the league title bringing an end to the dominance of Munich in the history of the bundesliga which is one of the biggest anticipation of most people this season in the German League, this will birth a new era if Leverkusen succeeds.

I agree with you, that Xabi deserves praise as a form of appreciation for his hard work in polishing Laverkusen into an unbeatable team so far. not only in the Bundesliga, the DFP Pokal and Europa League have not been touched by any defeats, a journey that we very rarely see at the moment.

Over the years, every season, we've seen certain teams leading the top chart of the Bundesliga and there's been some levels of consistency especially for Munich who's most of the time finished at the first position. Before now, Leverkusen and Stuttgart weren't even seen near the top four, it was always a Munich, Dortmund show but there's been much of a difference this season. Now there's a kinda rub shoulders between these teams, Leverkusen and Stuttgart who's been on the sidelines for seasons have now come up to be competitive for the trophy.

 Since the season began, they've been able to be threats to the trophy race, Munich now have to be extra cautious in their games too. They've lost twice in a row and it's kept the ints between them and Leverkusen. Also for Stuttgart who's been doing their best to keep their spot in the top 4 space. It's very much impression that this season took a different turn in the Bundesliga. Leipzig and Dortmund still have to strive to regain back their usual space on the table because currently, they're seemingly below the top 3, although with not much points difference which they still have a chance to meet up with.

Union Berlin are really fighting for their safety in the standings these days. After losing to Bochum really badly they managed to react against Koln and make up for that loss. There is still a gap of 3 points between them and the relegation zone though but they have a missing game to play as well. Hopefully we can see them reaching safety as soon as possible.

Because it isn't nice to see a team in this situation despite being far better in the previous season. They qualified for the Champions League I mean but now they are battling for not relegating from the Bundesliga.    Now they aren't a part of any other European tournament so they can fully focus on the Bundesliga.

No doubt that you are probably right here. I only wanted to remark that when you just look at the table without checking some of the results, you would think that Darmstadt's chances are dead, but that isn't yet the case as they have played some games where it almost felt sad for them that they lost the game. The last time I had a look it was the draw against Hoffenheim that got me thinking maybe a miracle can be possible. I think the same about Luton Town in the Premier League. Now they won at home against Newcastle and three weeks before they had a lead against Arsenal, conceded a goal, which made it 3-3 and then they conceded another goal in the 97th minute. But Luton Town is still alive and I think Darmstadt is similar.

I also hope that Bayer Leverkusen is able to emerge as champions this season, to stop Bayern München from fighting for the Bundesliga title this season, I am very confident in the task given by Xabi Alonso in acting as a reliable tactician this season, it is very clear that Xabi Alonso is capable bringing Bayer Leverkusen to the top of the Bundesliga standings, even though they are only four points adrift of Bayern München, at least Bayer Leverkusen is able to play consistently in every match and remain focused on winning the title this season so that it doesn't fall into the hands of Bayern München again.

On the other hand, with everything we see now, especially with all the things that Leverkusen have done and achieved, there is nothing wrong with assuming with a  little confidence that it is likely that Leverkusen have more chances than several other teams or even Dortmund to be able to break the dominance of Bayern Munich, which has always been able to secure the trophy at the end of the season.

Honestly, with the defense that  Leverkusen has about the consistency they can always maintain, then with that I can confirm the greatness of Xabi Alonso, yes now Leverkusen only has a difference of 4 points with Bayern Munich, I don't think it matters even though the difference is not too significant because obviously we have seen evidence from several matches they have passed that they can always dominate the match by winning three full points or at least sharing points. Next up for Leverkusen is Augsburg which I don't think is a particularly difficult game for them, I'm pretty sure of that.
