Playing on stressful surrounding will totally give you an awkward feeling so best for him to be traded since hes not really fit on Lakers system and might he can play more better on different team.
That's the real reason, if he is not fit, then they should not force the issue, trade him and acquire another player that could fit to the Lakers system. Maybe John Wall would be a good answer for that, I'm sure Lakers will find it interesting to trade Westbrook for John Wall. That's a bad idea. John Wall is an injury-prone player. That's a waste of salary space cap if the Lakers will sign this player. I'd rather keep Westbrook compared to trading him with John Wall. Even Westbrook is not fit for the Lakers, eventually, he will be used on it. It's just his first season with the Lakers and there's always a time for adjustment the following season. I won't think the Lakers will be interested to trade their players in exchange for John Wall. They should not add another player that is injury prone the same as Anthony Davis. AD was also injury-prone but the Lakers gave him a chance and they even win a championship with him, so I think it's good to gamble on a John Wall trade. About the adjustment period, I think one season is enough, if he cannot synch in now, he will not gonna synch in forever. Anthony Davis is injury-prone but when he comes back, there's no sign that he comes from an injury. He still explodes and can carry the Lakers. It's different with John Wall that after returning to the game, he seems to slow down now. There's a better trade package for Russell Westbrook compared to trading him to John Wall. A good option for them is to sign Damian Lillard. Blazers are nowhere to be successful this season and Lillard is sick of it. He will sure accept the Lakers trade. Or to save space-cap, they can trade Westbrook for several role players instead.

Why pick between Wall and Westbrook for the Lakers when you can find another player that will fit for the team . Find a point guard that will fit for the team and maybe find another coach as well TBH, I also think that even Davis might be traded as well. How many games did he played this season? Only 37 games base on this site and as for a 2nd all-star of the team, this is unacceptable. They paid him $35M this season to play for the team and he will get injured twice. I don't think that he is still a good fit for the team since Lebron is almost out on his prime already. They need a younger and not injury prone all-star. My opinion though.

That is really a good news to hear that it was just a sprained injury and nothing more serious.
And then we have this noise that Marcus Smart was a dirty player on what he did against Steph and then the kick on Klay Thompson. Steve Kerr is very vocal about it and there was a talk between the two during the game and you can see Smart' shaking his head as if saying that he didn't do it intentionally on Steph.
Yup, the result was not that bad either because it was just a minor sprain but I bet the Warriors are really sweating specially Steve Kerr after their best shooter has been injured We cannot blame those people and Steve Kerr because they really thought that Marcus Smart was playing dirty at that certain time but after some many replays in the arena, they've concluded that Marcus did not intend to do that to Steph. Steve Kerr and Marcus have some talk after the game, Steve here is saying that he's sorry and that he regret that yelled earlier.

I thought there's nothing wrong with Ben Simmons, I mean his not even seen the floor and yet he has some injury now?
But if it's true then definitely, they will need to win and make the playoff with Durant. So I guess this will be another bad year for the Nets and so much for the big 3 or even big 2 right now. So much has happen, now Harden is gone and then Kyrie's drama is still not over.
Simmons is definitely a strange player. First, he missed the bulk of the regular season due to mental problems, then he injured himself without even playing. To be honest, I even missed the moment when he managed to injure his back, although it doesn't matter. By the way, the Nets are playing against the Blazers now, and I hope they will be able to win because they need at least three more wins to climb up the standings. Don't mind Simmons, the kid is really having some mental problems because in the first place he wouldn't do that to his former team if his head is okay, right? And now, he got himself injured twice even before playing and I don't think he can play this regular season for the said back problems. He better rest the entire reason because he will just be a liability in the team if ever he will play in the playoffs, and it's not the right time to do some experiments because it can be very risky for the team. Anyway, they've won against the Blazers (128-123) Drummond and Seth have been playing great together with Durant.

Knicks doing just enough to miss the playoffs this year so frustrating. Good to see quentin grimes back in I though that knee injury was going to be an acl. Need to move on from Julius Randle though, let rj take the wheel.

Maybe the coach is obviously protective of their player and Steve Kerr will have to pinpoint Smart as a dirty player. Nevertheless, it was a relieved seeing Steph Curry's injury is not that bad, just need some rest and he will be ok. Not a fan of Marcus, but it seems the intention is not there for him to hurt the two players, just the circumstances though, going hard on the ball, that's it.

I do agree, with Julius Randle game this season? He should take the back seat now, and let RJ take the wheel for the Knicks. Really don't know what happen to him as his game was very different last year. Do you think that there is a lot of pressure on his shoulder this season to perform even better? Or the team's injury and some piece movement affected Knicks chemistry?

This year they knew they need to guard him a certain way and he just hasn't adjusted well. Taking a huge hit from 3pt from last year as well. Don't know if they team around him has changed enough for that to be a factor. Who knows.

Bulls is 41-29 whereas Suns is 57-14 already. There is a good chance Suns will reach 60 before losing 20 games, which is a proof that they actually have a good chance of 65, which is on pace for almost any champion and even more, not many teams reached 65 wins and ended up with not winning the league. It is normal for Bulls to lose to them, even though Bulls have been having one of their better seasons since Derrick Rose periods.
I believe that it will take a while longer, but they will definitely get better each season when the team grows together. But, this year looks like Suns will be the winners, not just regular season best team but if nothing unexpected happens, probably winner of the league.

All dependent on a healthy chris Paul. He is the key to that teams success. They won't have it that easy though. A full Nets team or the Bucks are gonna put up a good fight in the East. Again I think Nets success depends on kyrie being able to play home games

Westbrook reputation has been down by this season so I think he will not get the same value as before. But let see how it will end up and where Westbrook go after this season.

Reverting back to their previous line up that won them a ring during the "bubble" could actually work in the short term. Doing so will also give Lakers management more wiggle room to choose players that will lead the team after Lebron and AD. I don't think those two will still be a Laker after two or three years.

Without Giannis Bucks isn't same. They don't have a leader in the game. Nobody take responsibility. Wolves run the game with Edwards and Towns. It was way easier game than expected for Wolves. They will get an important win and keep their hopes alive for sixth seed. Bucks on the other hand put on the line of their second place. Sixers is coming from behind.

I have to agree with you that Milwaukee Bucks without Giannis is not the same. However, there are also cases where the Bucks still dominating the game despite the absence of Giannis or even without Middleton too. In that tonight's game between Milwaukee Bucks and Minnesota Timberwolves, we can see that the Wolves were able to maintain their lead throughout the game until they were able to pin down Bucks by a big lead and got a win later on. Hard to deal with Timberwolves now. Karl Anthony-Towns can dominate the paint and on the rainbow area. What kind of defense will you put on this big man lol. If he's contained well, there's another option thru Anthony Edwards or D'Angelo Russel waiting outside. They really improved this season.

The 76ers - Mavericks game last night was really great. And the home team managed to defeat Mavericks by 111-101. Embiid and Harden did a great job again. Embiid were superb and he got 32 points. Harden made a double-double by 24 points and 12 assists . 76ers are very strong now. And Doncic wasn't that good this time.

Yeah, Giannis is the heart and soul of the Bucks so without him, it will be difficult to win specially against a solid team like the Wolves. Towns for sure is the main man, but for me, it's Edwards that really provided the spark in this game. Although it was a balance attack from the Bucks, no one even score in the 20 point, the highest point they can have is 15 points by 3 players. In was a good strategy to field as many players and score points, but the Wolves has put a good lead and it's hard to overcome that.

It seems to me that Westbrook just doesn't want to improve and adapt his style of play. This may be one of the reasons why he doesn't fit into the system of any team. By the way, the Lakers and Rockets have already discussed the Westbrook-Wall trade. However, this didn't happen as the Lakers management didn't want to include a draft pick in the deal.

Back to Westbrook being criticized but he actually did great today. It's just defense that must be improved and the player rotation. They rely too much on their small lineup thinking they have that speed in transition plays but it should be twisted with big men and go slow. They don't have a young roster. Despite that loss, there's good news. LeBron James surpasses Karl Malone for No. 2 on NBA's all-time scoring listIt's just Kareem left on the top. Lebron needs 1440 points to take the lead. It's near, he just needs to be healthy.

There are a lot of pro-Lakers who travel to Washington to witnessed history. I think Lebron can break one of the most enduring record and it will be fitting if he would be still in the Lakers jersey if he can accomplished it. As for the small lineup, yeah I agree, that's why Porzingis is having a field day, specially in the 4th wherein he clearly dominated the paint.

After winning their game today, the Minnesota Timberwolves still holding their chance to get out from the play-in tournament curse and get to the number 6 or number 5 if Mavericks and Nuggets continue losing their games in the coming days. We are less than a month before the play-in start and after that, it will be the playoffs tournament where the games are super intense. On that day, we will see them play like there is no tomorrow, and if a struggling team won't fix the way they play before that, they're doomed to be eliminated in the first round of the tournament.
