I think they have the experience, but the injuries though, it really derail everything from them, DeRozan, Ball, Lavine and even Caruso get injured last season. At least they were able to salvage their season, goes into the playoff but eventually lost. And this is a good lessons drawn for them. So now they have added a experience player in Dragic, I wouldn't be surprised if this time, they are going to be in the top 4. And Lavine and DeRozan could be the best duo. I find one article saying that they are in the top 5 last season. Although some in the list is questionable and now out dated.

I think it's more on the side of Lavine, maybe he understand that he alone can't win ring for the Bulls. So he is willing to share the limelight with DeRozan and we could say that they click instantly. No ego nor drama but either one of them. It's not they are bothered by injuries.

This was mentioned many times before in social media and sports news. Whoever takes Bronny in their team, Lebron will play in there. So if Lebron is willing to extend for two years in Lakers, it might be an indication that they might take Bronny when the time comes. Bronny plans to be eligible for 2024 NBA draft.

I also think that it is a good thing that he should end his career in LA. And if he can give them another championship, then maybe they can retire his jersey in LA as well. That could be a good way to end an stellar NBA career.

Bull will now have a veteran and a good point guard, an experience Dragic will definitely help the team. Their roster IMO is already a championship team, if they were only healthy last season, they have a chance to advance, so hopefully in the coming season, as their chemistry gets stronger, being healthy will definitely help them to be a championship team.

I might disagree with your idea that the Chicago Bulls roster is already can consider a championship team.

They have a good run last season, surprising everyone with their good chemistry right at the start of the season but began to show inconsistency during the last phase of the season. I am positive about this young team but believe me, even if they stay healthy last season, their chance to advance to Finals is really slim. They will soon get their own recognition but not at that time.

Not just to stay healthy but the Bulls need to build a second squad that can consistently assist their main core, especially in the event of continuous injuries. They are already composed of good role players and what they need to do is to add some more.

There are lots of precious role players that are just there waiting to be utilized properly by a team.

This is true! Chicago Bulls is a decent team but they aren't a championship contender, they are one of the teams now that still lack experience and that consistency. They need some veteran player that is an All-star caliber to help these young players to achieve further because if they stay like these, they will just be eliminated in the playoffs without getting a chance to play in the conference finals.

I too hope that we see Howard playing a role on a contender again.  I doubt he's going to be back to the Lakers though.  I don't see the Nets signing him just to trade him either.  The recent reports seem to suggest that the Lakers are going to trade Westbrook for Jordan Clarkson & Pat Beverly, with Donovan Mitchell going to the Knicks.  I think Jordan Clarkson is a good player but I'm not sure if he's a starter on the Lakers.  Maybe...  Pat Beverly seems like he's about done in the league too, but this shows how desperate the Lakers are to get out from under Westbrook's contract.

Yeah ainge is looking for 6 draft picks.  Knicks accumulated a bunch of picks and dont think Mitchell puts them over the hill.  Capping them out with salary and no picks to trade for the rest of the decade will keep Knicks mid.  They need to keep drafting and hope they hit a star along the way.  Or a bunch of really good players like memphis.

If the Lakers don't make significant roster changes, they won't have any chance to win another championship next two years. Although it doesn't really matter because I'm more than sure that the Lakers will retire LeBron's number in their arena anyway because they already won the title in 2020 because of him. Yeah, he did have meeting with Rob Pelinka and it looks like he will likely to stay with the Lakers. Maybe they talk about the needed changes in the team to be able to get over the hump and at least win another ring.

Hmm, maybe it's part of their discussions with Lakers GM and their new coach? James opting to stay with them as long as they are willing to go and pick Bronny in the draft pick as he will be eligible for the 2024 draft? And Lebron is not slowing down, he hasn't actually. It's the true definition of "rebuilding". I cannot even see where they will be this upcoming season. Perhaps the 8th seed or worst be kicked out in the play-in tournament. All moves the Jazz are doing are for their future only.

Maybe after these 2 more years as he is still in a good condition to add another championship for the Lakers.

I don't blame them I guess.  Owners seem to be pushing back against players trying to call the shots and other franchises have to love the way the KD/Kyrie experiment blew up in the Nets' face.  Still, I'd like to see Durant in Phoenix and Kyrie in Los Angeles if for nothing else than I think that is the most entertaining outcome of this offseason.  I do think Durant will get traded at some point, but it may take a Black Swan Event during the season.

East is not weak, actually the east and West are now balance compared to the past, so I'm hoping maybe they will bring back the old format of all star where the East superstars will play against the West superstars.

I would not say that east is a weaker conference because right now, East is emerging again. The trio in boston are in their prime and an easy championship contender. Not to mention bucks, sixers and miami are really strong contenders too. Bulls are good team but with the competition in the east right now, I do not think they can come on top.

Would he still be even competitive by that time. He will be 40+ after the extension. It is best for him to retire. If he still wants to be involve in basketball, it is better for him to buy a basketball team. He is a billionaire, he can easily do that. And doing that, he can be a real GM too if he wants it.

Irving is a double edge sword though. On one side, he is a lethal scorer with elite-level ball handling. He is very skilled and athletic. On the other side, he can be very problematic to handle. Too many personal issues that he lets affect his profession. If Kyrie could control himself and just be a professional basketball player and do not mix drama with career, he is sure a good addition to the Lakers. Otherwise, he is just another headache for the coach and Lebron.

The Lakers' unwillingness to add drafts and or maybe some players in order to trade Westbrook for Kyrie probably ended the negotiation. Lakers' management is torn between going all in while Lebron is still playing very well but sacrificing future drafts. And Lebron is not getting any younger.

Maybe Lebron is willing to return to Cleveland or play with his son once he is not already a top-level player.

The KD swap is in a stalemate. I don't think we should be too optimistic about Durant being traded any time soon. The Nets want to include a third or fourth team in the trade to facilitate the deal but are trying to slow things down by making tough demands on the star player. I think the point here is to intimidate Durant into withdrawing the trade. However, by doing so it will be impossible to expect a yield from Durant in the season.
