I was unaware of this. Does this imply that the Celtics only won the game I watched last week? It almost happened in the same way that the Cavs blew an 18 point lead the Celtics had at the beginning of the fourth quarter. Despite the fact that the Celtics were able to win that game, they only had a four point lead. The fact that these two teams went overtime three times and the Cavs won them all is a huge coincidence. Numerous bookies are claiming that the Boston Celtics is the best team in NBA this season.

Celtics' overtime record is not that impressing, they are 4-7 now. Cavs won all 7 games they went to overtime. This is something they need to work on to fix before play-off. Sometimes Brown choke like this while Tatum is out. Play-off series are different than regular season games so they will be more focused on games. Celtics still look more reliable team to me, except their overtime performance.

Funny that Giannis gave himself a rebound at the end of the Bucks game for a triple double.

The league rescinded the final rebound Giannis gave himself yesterday effectively taking away his triple double.  AI can't remember seeing this happen before in the NBA but it seems like the right thing to do.  I didn't see anything about rescinding the missed shot though.   Probably a good thing for Giannis anyway as it might save him from some criticism for being a stat padder.  Say what you want about Westbrook or Jokic but I don't think this has ever happened to either of them.

It did happen with Westbrook back at OKC. He was mad at Steven Adams (iirc the player) about taking the rebound. He was supposed to take it and receive his triple-double. Another incident is he is forcing someone to shoot it after he passes the ball because he lacks one more assist, he got angry at that time too.

It wasn't between Luka in the first place but was Kyrie at the end of the game but I think it's not something Luka will just pass by considering all that trash talking. I think they have little thing like this with Klay too and I think Booker was a trash talker in the first place. Well, can't say for sure but they have to prove that in the playoffs.

Not new. Booker did the same thing before against Luka, it even went further that even the coaches are getting involved especially, Coach Monty.
Remember, they met last year in the 2nd round of the playoffs where the Mavs won so this rivalry is still there, just sleeping and maybe starting to wake up again as the playoffs gets near.

If the Suns won't get a ring while Durant is on their team, then most probably Chris Paul won't get a ring in his career.

As for Westbrook, a few years from now, if he wants to continue playing, it's either he will accept a lower offer or play overseas. This dude's career is almost over if he won't improve and help the Clippers. His performance is way different ever since he left Thunder. I don't know, it seems he lacks motivation compared before and to other players of the same age or even older like James.

That's right. The Suns cannot go nor will reach that far if they will still have the same performance they showed and got last season where they suddenly choked out of nowhere after having a good run in the first few games of the series. Hopefully this time it will be a much different case because they now got Kevin Durant on their roster which is a huge plus for the whole team.

As for Westbrook, he probably won't be getting any contract extension from the Clippers and there's no hope right now that he will still be having a good contract if there are some teams that are still interested to get him from the free agency. Sad to think but that's the reality he is facing now.

Right, same here, so he will be out indefinitely as there are investigations by the NBA itself and there could be legal ramifications here. They are looking at where and the exact location of the video, that club where he was show flashing a gun. It is right after the Denver game, so if it is in that place then he might have brought it with him in the place. And so it will be a severe punishment from the NBA as they are very strict bringing firearms in a NBA facility. And we have seen the effects already, they already lost their first game without him. And it's going to be very difficult for the NBA to punished Ja Morant as he is one of their brightest young stars. So Memphis and coach Jenkins will have to make a lot of adjustments now ad there are no timeline for Morant's comeback.

Yeah, there have been rumors that if it is proven that Morant brought a gun into the NBA building, he could be suspended for at least 50 games. On the one hand, that's a serious violation of NBA rules, and they should obviously teach him a lesson for doing that. On the other hand, Morant is a talented kid with the potential to be one of the best players in NBA history. So it looks like the NBA management is going to have to make a tough decision.

But with Kevin Durant's presence, the team's chances got a boost as well as their confidence and you can see it in their face that they are not that scared anymore to take a risky shot because they know that they still got a lot of chance.

We will see it then once the playoffs commence. Knowing Kevin Durant, and his heavy playoff experienced, never seen him choking or doing some sudden change in his performance when playoffs time even losing. If he can affect the whole Phoenix Suns' intensity of play once playoffs come, the team would be deadly.

It's safe to assume that Kevin Durant will affect the performance of the whole Suns squad, I mean we already saw what he had done since he played with them for the first time and up until now. Booker got back to his old self as it's like Durant influenced him to be a better player like what he is and then CP3 got more options whom to pass because they now have more reliable shooter on the ground unlike in the past where also have to do some offense just to keep the team afloat.

Scott Foster must have had money on the Nuggets to win. That technical on Scottie Barnes at the end of the game was crazy. Even the other ref didn’t know what was going on. When he retires the NBA players will rejoice.

I went all in on Nuggets -6.5 and they only played good in the last 5 minutes.

I also put in a very small amount on this game yesterday, could not watch it as i was asleep at the time the game was being played, it was played around 3-4 am in my country's time zone.
I only woke up this morning, checked my stake account to discover we lost the bet, I am not bothered about it at all because like I stated yesterday, i only put in small amount on it, an amount i was very comfortable loosing, and as long as i am in my right senses, this is how my bets would always be as from now on, ive learnt a bitter lesson last year, when i went all in on a match and end up losing all my money, that will never happen to me again.

I was planning on betting big on them but the odds @1.21 for ML is obviously too low and not worth the risk. That's a friendly rivalry between them. No need to put physical violence or anything that will ruin their reputation. Just trash talks is enough. Even Luka said that it was nothing, but said words directly to Booker after that.

What Booker did on the final seconds of that game is kind of funny because if he really wanted to do that, he must've done it during or on the mid-game, and not when they are already winning. Well, the quote of Luka really is applicable to him. Everybody's acting though when they're up.

Anyway, these kind of dramas are what the fans are loving for. They need to spice things up, and what's the way to do it? Rivalries. Like the Jordan-Thomas back in the 80's or the Lebron-Curry rivalry when they met in the NBA Finals 4 times. Fans love these kind of rivalries, and I would love to see these 2 teams match-up again in the playoffs.

Just take it as part of entertainment since both guys want to prove something and maybe they don't like each other since they see their selves as close rivals. And its also fun to watch those guys trash talking to each other since this heat up the game and we can see a great duel between them. Likely that's it, people love some altercations. For me, even with the addition of Durant, Mavs has still a chance to beat them if both Luka and Kyrie are healthy and I hope they end up taking the first round in the playoffs or even second round.

I'm also looking forward to see that, their rivalry might happen again in the upcoming playoffs because both teams already got a good chance of participating the said series and for sure there are also a lot of fans out there from the respective teams who are also looking forward for the same thing like us.

Probably, this time, the Phoenix Suns can give some resistance towards the Mavericks and what happened last playoffs might not happen this time as the Suns are now heavier in terms of defense and especially their offense. Hopefully CP3 will be consistent enough because he now got more chances to finally have his own championship ring.

I believe the Warriors are still the team to beat, as they are still underrated despite winning the championship. But the Suns are too upgraded compared to Luka and the Mavericks. I don't trust Kyrie since leaving Cleveland. Either he is injured or he will do some controversies to catch public attention. Either way, Kyrie is nothing compared to the great KD. And even without these 2 former Brooklyn players being shipped, the Suns are already a trio of superstars compared to Dallas with Luka only. I think many Suns fans are just butt hurt and were not able to move on after its team achieved the best record in the NBA but only to exit in the 2nd round after being shamed by Luka single-handedly. I like KD but now I want the Suns not to win a title with Booker.

GSW is a dark horse once the playoffs begin. Playoff games are too different compared to these regular games. GSW is too experienced and has chemistry proven once the biggest games of the NBA start. Although I also believe that Boston and Milwaukee are the strongest teams this season. I am an underdog guy though, so I hope teams like the Kings and Denver are the ones getting the title.

That addition of Durant to Phoenix will give them a tough competition to repeat the title, West side got a lot of competitive squad who can bring upset to anyone.

But talking about the Warriors current situation, it's best not to underestimate them for now because it's still to early for us to judge their performance. We all know about them and this is not the first regular season where they didn't perform well yet when it comes to the playoffs, we always saw a different Warriors, so different from the regular games. And that's why they are different from the rest.

By the way, it is also worth noting that GPII is now back with the Warriors, although he is not yet to be seen as of now but it's expected the he will be joining them once the playoffs will commence. GPII will be one of their keys when it comes to the Warriors defense, and let's not forget the Jordan Poole playoffs version.

I’m watching this game on TNT between the Timberwolves and the 76ers and Joell Embiid and Anthony Edwards are having themselves game already in the first quarter. They are both on a pace to score over 40 points so that could be something to keep an eye on. Close game too. Definitely off to a good start for game one of the doubleheader.
