Looks like the Suns are also trying to get in on the Durant sweepstakes as well, offering Chris Paul and some others for KD.  The fireworks might not be done yet!

And there are speculations that Phoenix Suns fans might be surprised before the trade deadline. With the Suns' new team owner taking place on Wednesday, they might push for their goal by trying to get Durant before this week's trade deadline.

I will assume that DeAndre Ayton might also be included in the trading block. There's no way the Brooklyn Nets won't ask for that. Referring to Chris Paul, although he can still be a big help to any team, I consider he doesn't have that much bearing right now at this point of his career. Other Suns players that are rumored to be part of the package are Jae Crowder, Cam Johnson, Mikal Bridges, etc.

Just a wild guess of mine, I think that trade won't be executed prior to the trade deadline. I mean, that was tough to negotiate within just a few days period (although the Kyrie Irving trade was negotiated quickly).

The funny thing I just realized about all this stuff is that Kyrie could have requested this trade at any time but he chose to do it the week that LeBron is about to break one of the most coveted records in sports.  I think maybe he was feeling a bit like he wasn't the center of attention for a second and had to do what he had to do to try and get himself in the news cycle.  Maybe that's just coincidence, but with Kyrie nothing is off the table.
Valid thoughts, possibly that he has really done it on purpose and the timing was perfect. He's known for that whenever there were some issues before about him.
Instead of the potential history that Lebron is about to make, he's become the talk first before that happens. Possible also that it's just mere coincidence but as we all know, everything and the timing was totally perfect.

I think he just needs time to perform well in the Nets to show other teams his best side in the game. He was able to carry the Nets while KD is out due to injury. I think it is just coincidence that Lebron was about to break the scoring when he requested the trade since it is also near the trade deadline. But if you are right, Kyrie is really sick to do that. Cheesy

That would be sick if that pushes through. KD + Booker + Ayton, is a perfect candidate for a championship. Now that Brooklyn is in shambles, KD should follow suit and leave the Nets as well. KD cannot expect any help coming from Simmons.

I will assume that DeAndre Ayton might also be included in the trading block. There's no way the Brooklyn Nets won't ask for that. It could if they sweeten the pot with a few first-round draft picks. That would allow the Nets to rebuild faster after Durant and Kyrie leave them and the Suns a stronger contender for a championship.

Reports are saying that the Cavaliers have removed Kevin Love from their rotation. Speculation is that he may be on the trading block. He’s been playing great this year but he is getting older… I’m not sure where would be a good landing spot for him, but the Cavs have been playing so well maybe they’re trying to make a run this year and think they could do better than Love. They are pretty stacked with big guys already.

Cavs need young legs to their team and K.Love might slower them down that's why maybe they decide to trade him so that they can get more better fresh rooster added to their team. But its really sad to see this happen because K.love is really a dedicated player which contribute good on the past run of Cavs, They can still use him if they want since his experience and presence as veteran is really helpful in the bench.

I do know and am well aware that Kyrie Irving does really have an unusual character since then and does crazy things unexpectedly out of the blue, and even has a toxic attitude to everybody, with no expectation, but your guesses are maybe too much and really insane to think.

Asking trade just to try not to be overshadowed in the news because of Lebron James' hype in breaking a big record this week? That was funny to think. Grin

It's not even a coincidence. It's just that it happened simply. No need to overthink that.

^ I wouldn’t get too comfortable with Durant on the Nets… Stephen A Smith is reporting that he’s heard rumors of negotiations between the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets involving a trade of Kevin Durant for Jaylen Brown. It’s definitely possible for all sorts of reasons. KD wants to be in Boston, Jaylen wants to be the star of his team, KD wants out of Brooklyn, trade deadline approaching… We could have another big Nets trade today!
I've heard of Jaylen's potential trade before and it was just after the finals that they've been with and he doesn't like that rumor that has come out.
But now, if this will come into reality and that's the reaction that he'll do upon being traded then that wouldn't hurt his feeling a lot. He'll be in a new team where he'll definitely get all the attention that he's wanting and needing. Such trades have been released by the Nets and there could be even more, I thought that they've got no plans of pushing KD away as it's been reported before that there were no taker but now, it seems that some teams would like to offer them something for him.

Well, looks like Nets robbed Mavs with this trade. Kyrie was usually great but getting Dinwiddie plus Finney-Smith was an offer that couldn't be refused, not to mention a couple of future picks. The profitable side is obvious. I also don't know how Luka and Kyrie will share the ball, it doesn't look well taught move by Mavs management. Even after this trade, things are not absolutely clear for Nets though. Durant may go as well. Either way it's time to shine for Cam Thomas.

I wouldn't say it a complete robbed, but that is a huge price to pay for getting Kyrie by the Mavs. And yes, I do agree, we don't know how the pairing will do, they are going to be small, but perhaps, coach Kidd, being a point guard, knows a thing or do about how he will play Kyrie with the Mavs.

And in just like that, the Nets are now a messed up team again, they gave a lot of money to get KD, Kyrie and to some extend Harden and their future picks as well. Now in 3 years, they are back to where it all started, and probably KD too will leave as you have said.

They are trading CP3 already because they know that their chances of getting a title is going lower and lower as he goes older and older.
CP3 is 37 years old already. As the years goes by, his performance goes down as he goes older. Ayton doesn't want to be in Phoenix for obvious reasons. Booker's dream of winning a title is just a dream with these 2 all-star players if they will not do something.

Trading Ayton, Bridges and Paul or even only Paul and Ayton will help the Suns in their run for the title. Getting KD would be their best option because we know what is the capability of a Kevin Durant. A Durant-Booker duo might be helpful for the Suns. 2-3 days left before the trade deadline so I agree that we might see some unexpected trades here and there. Cheesy

Even after this trade, things are not absolutely clear for Nets though. Durant may go as well. Either way it's time to shine for Cam Thomas.
Cam Thomas and Claxton as well as Dinwiddie.

If Durant requests a trade (which is likely to happen), watch out for these 3 underrated players. Thomas just got his 2nd 40+ game just tonight against the Clippers though they lost and Claxton is having his best season with him leading the blocks and is a double-double machine. Dinwiddie might be more efficient now that he is in Brooklyn, but we don't know. Let's see how the new Nets team goes now that they don't have Kyrie anymore.

Indeed, they almost pulled a big upset on the Clippers tonight, Cam Thomas has a huge 47 point game performance again, he is in the elite of Nets players scoring back to back 40 plus points, including in that group? KD and Irving and Vince Carter.

So I guess it might be a robbery because Cam Thomas will emerge as now the second scoring option if KD comes back. And then they have Spencer again for another scoring option and of course, Finney-Smith might revived his role as the go to 3 point guy, besides Joe Harris and Curry.

Just got done watching the Chicago Bulls game. It was nice to see them play like they should against a pretty poor team.  Now the Bulls are finally within a game of a .500 record, and perhaps starting to turn the ship around a little bit.  Funny thing is we are approaching the trade deadline on the 9th, and the Bulls certainly have plenty of buzz going around in the trade headlines...I guess time will tell when it comes to my currently unfor. fav team.

Anyone seen the game between the Dallas Mavericks and Utah Jazz? what happened?

Was watching it when the Jazz was making a run, but I have to make some errands and then spoke to one of my friends about, of all the topic, about gambling. And when I come back, Mavs won already by a big lead 13 points.

But the announcer says that at one point the Jazz lead by 15? So it's a complete turn around? Kudos for the Dallas team for winning against a tough team in the road without Luka Doncic.

That's what I thought. In my own assumption, there's a deeper reason. This may still have something to do with Kyrie. We don't know what made him act like he wants the trade forcefully and I bet he would want Kevin Durant pulled with him in Mavs but the cap space and the availability will be a big problem for Mark Cuban. So if Kyrie cannot pull him, he won't want him to stay at that team too. I have this feeling something not good happened backstage in the Nets management.  Grin
Watching the Nets carefully today against the Clippers, they are still not a bad team and that is without Dinwiddie and Finney-Smith. It may change to better when they start playing.
He became a problem, kick him out if they need to. If he creates havoc in Mavs then that's their problem. I don't believe it's a robbery, it's just one splinter taken out which will feel good for them. The performance of the Nets today seems better, they are sharing the ball and new players are starting to step up.

Cam Thomas is making a big deal for Brooklyn Nets, the guy's a bucket machine! If he maintains this kind of performance, even Kyrie Irving was traded to the other team, in my opinion it's a win win situation. I'm gonna watch their next game against Chicago Bulls, might he'll drop 40+ points again and make history.

Well, it was official and to say it was robbed is too early to say but those future picks is really something the Nets have get. I wonder what the chemistry they have but they are a great duo. I just wonder though on who will get the ball more often now that another PG is on their team, Luka has got it when Kyrie wasn't there.

They're doing well these past few days and with that, they are on their 3rd winning streak, their record this year is not bad as the Lakers, and looks like they can still improve it and make more wins in the upcoming days. Even if they cannot make it to the top 6, they are not far away to snatch the number 7 spot, and they are probably one of those teams who will play in the Eastern Conference playoffs. Maybe if they acquire more players in the trade, they will gonna boosts their chance more.

The Nets demonstrated that putting a bunch of narcissistic superstars together on the same team is not a good idea. As for Irving, I'd say he's like a Trojan horse for any team because no one knows what to expect from him. So I guess Irving and Doncic won't be able to share the ball because Irving's presence on the court will likely have a negative impact on Doncic's stats.

Looks like the Suns are also trying to get in on the Durant sweepstakes as well, offering Chris Paul and some others for KD.  The fireworks might not be done yet!
You don't really change a team just to make sure people talk about that, plus the moment Lebron breaks that record, everyone will stop talking about Kyrie all over again, nobody will remember he was even traded at that point, they will talk about Lebron being the guy with the most points scored ever, that's just too huge to calm down about.

Lebron recently said that he wishes he could have a normal life, go eat a meal somewhere, get a starbucks with his name on it, like regular people, I think he wouldn't even be mad if Kyrie took some attention away from him. And to think that Lebron is not even near the end yet, he could play at least another 2 seasons after this, is beyond logical. Dude could breach 40k+ points and that would be a shock, as long as he stays healthy, he could break 40k, and that's expected.

Who's betting on Lebron to break the points made of all time tomorrow?

Based on my sportsbook, Lebron is 2.12 if he will score 35+ points, that's a huge number but I believe he will likely achieve that tomorrow since OKC is not so defensive, they even score over 150 before, so for sure it will be a battle of offense.

That's the price of being popular, you also lose your freedom like normal people that can do anywhere they want. Lebron will be making a lot of people happy tomorrow if he will break that record, and it's good timing as they are playing on their home court, so probably the arena now is already filled with balloons on the ceiling waiting to drop tomorrow.

The way he is playing now, that is a statement that he is taking care of his body well, and he has more seasons left in his career for sure.
