Now that Irving and Durant have been traded, Brooklyn is likely out of the championship race. I'm curious if Kyrie will improve Dallas or if he will make another drama and screw up the team or chemistry. This guy seems to like creating drama this past. If not, Doncic has a lot of help this time and will make the Mavericks a better title contender.

I won't be so sure just yet. If they can build good chemistry in haste then they might become a formidable team.
Think about the lineup.
Cam Thomas, Spencer Dinwiddie, Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Nic Claxton, and Ben Simmons.
Bench players are Dorian Finney-Smith, Jae Crowder, Seth Curry, Edmond Sumner, Royce O'Neale, and Joe Harris.
This team is filled with popular roleplayers, I bet Coach Jacque Vaughn will be happy if his play style will be rotating these guys nonstop because all of them can definitely contribute on both ends of the floor.

Meanwhile, I wonder if Jazz will improve now that they have Westbrook. Now that he is in Jazz, he could be potentially their main player as that is how Westbrook is. Maybe can have if not near or maybe half of his performance while he was still in OKC.

As for the Suns, they have gained the most in this trade with Durant's addition to their lineup.

Westbrook already accepted to be a bench player even in the Lakers team, so I doubt he will take over in the Jazz as Clarkson will probably be the main focus of playmaking and Markannen as their offensive weapon.

I'm not sure how all of these will work out for the Brooklyn Nets, it looks like a tough situation to be in, but I'm really glad they let go of both KD and Kyrie together there's no point letting one go and keeping the other, and the Brooklyn Nets will be better off in a couple of years with this decision even if not immediately, because now they're having a younger squad with less ego.

As for the Suns, I smell trouble in paradise, but I hope I am actually wrong on this because, it's a different thing to look scary and to actually be scary, I'm sure we had a similar opinion of Brooklyn Nets with James Harden, Kyrie and Durant on the same roster, and I'd say that looked more scarier than this Phoenix Suns, but it might all ball down to the chemistry and relationship they are able to build at end the of the day though, but I guess we can only just imagine until it begins to happen, right?

Wow, I had absolutely no idea that there was a possibility like this. I guess everyone was focused on Kyrie deal and I didn't even notice this possibility at all. I always thought Lebron and AD has a good relationship both on and off the court. AD might have been seen less than enthusiastic at that moment but I don't expect any issue between them. When healthy, AD always contributes as much as he can and I think everyone would agree that he is a great player and maybe one of the top players in the league. But I can't stress it enough: 'healthy'. We have an excited day ahead of us about the trades. Can't wait the see the surprises.

We’ll see. It seems like there is too much talk about something happening for nothing to happen, but that’s the way it goes sometimes. Still, I’m on high alert for something big in the next 24 hours. The only troublesome part is that there are so many rumors, you don’t know what’s real and what is wishful thinking. No matter what happens though, I’m pretty sure Durant won’t be suiting up in a Nets uniform next season.

I agree that it is nothing out of nothing, and there isn't anything real about all these drama. If it happens then we would say it happened and I would understand the point of it, but before anything happens, we could just chulk that up to AD being tired or something, or hurting because god knows he is always hurting.

I agree that it is not a "good look", you should celebrate a lot if your teammate who brought you to that team and won a title with you passes Kareem, but if not.. well that's fine too. Important thing is, Lebron broke the record and that's it, whatever other trade rumours are going on, they are just rumours and they are fine.

One situation I can’t say I understand is that the Cavaliers are rumored to be considering buying out Kevin Love’s contract. He’s on the last year of his deal so I don’t know what they’d get from doing that and I’m sure Love isn’t going to take a massive loss on his contract to be a free agent a few months sooner. If he is bought out though, I imagine a contender will scoop him up. I think he’d be a good fit for the Warriors.

It's will boils down to the ego of CP3 and Booker. This two seems to work during their first year, they made it to the finals but eventually lost to Bucks. But after that it was a roller coaster for them, but now that they have KD it could be a different ball club all together.

We've seen Durant fits perfectly with the Warriors, so it could be the game with the Suns. So let's see how it goes, not sure when is Durant going back. As for the Nets, yeah, they have to let go of the Kyrie and Durant because the environment become toxic already.

I thought he’d give them the athletic center they need, but I guess he didn’t fit into the system. Prior to this trading, I have read that they are contemplating on James Wiseman whether to trade him or not. But I guess the Warriors has made their decision to just let go of the kid. We don't know the reasons, maybe because of necessities or maybe they didn't find Wiseman a good fit for the Warriors at this point. But I doubt that he will have a good time as well with the Nuggets, obviously, this is Jokic team. Or maybe him playing Center and then Jokic moving to PF, lets see.

Wow, some pretty big trades going down these past few days, especially seeing Kevin Durant being dealt to the Phoenix Suns last night.  That team is going to be pretty damn good with him being their feature player now.  I saw the Lakers made some decent moves too.  I think that was pretty much a given that they were going to do something there.

Still waiting to see if the Chicago Bulls make any moves. At this point, they clearly don't have a chance at winning anything significant, so might as well start moving some pieces...as much as that sucks as a Bulls fan.

How about a potential Westbrook trade ? I still don't know what upgrade that will be for the Bulls though, but I'm sure that with Westbrook getting closer to his peak performance he should be a significant addition to Bulls teams.

It starts to make a little sense if they couldn't resign him.  Getting some value while they can.  It starts to make a lot more sense when you read that Patrick Beverly was just traded for Mo Bamba.  This will be interesting to watch as I didn't consider Mo Bamba a serious player, but he can shine at times and will probably be a good addition off the bench.  He'll be a unique pairing with LeBron for sure as he can also hit the 3.  I think the Lakers are probably sick of dealing with Beverly and the Magic are sick of dealing with Mo Bamba after the recent brawl he basically started from the bench.

Given how Durant didn’t much effective on Nets I think this deal is very solid for both team but I would say that Nets benefits the most in the long run due to the 4 first round pick which Nets can used to build a strong team in the future like Warriors did. Nets trio is not even show some good result though so I guess their golden days is not really as it is since the team is just pure hype.

Only time can tell if the 4 first-round pick is a win or not. Draft picks can still be a hit or miss if you ask me. Even top picks can turn out to be a bust these days.

It is good that the Nets started to rebuild. They do not have much luck in acquiring superstars in their roster. Maybe they will have better luck using their first-round picks to build a championship team.

For now, I think the suns won the trade. They are a contender team, and adding the fire power of Durant in their team will put them in a better position to contend for the championship this season. Hopefully, the coach can make the trio (booker, ayton, durant) work together to achieve their goal. They also have veteran guidance from Chris Paul. This team is scary right now.

I wonder what Nets fans are feeling right now given that they lost two (2) of their superstar players on the team, both Kyrie and Durant. But I guess this is the inevitable given that their combination did not yield them any playoff run nor championship at the end. I guess the normal thing for them to do is to get traded and build their roster from scratch especially that they have first picks this 2028.

The Phoenix Suns are actually looking pretty legit given that they have now Booker, Paul, and Durant on their team. I hope that their chemistry works out- though I predict that we will see Dallas vs Suns on the playoffs this season.

Now we have hot days about latest trades. First Kyrie then KD, really interesting times for Nets. Looks like they gave up on this super duo and tries something different. I'm not sure if it's the right path for them but time will tell.

The NBA went a really crazy trades in the last 48 hrs. The Lakers could've obtained Kyrie if the Nets did not demand too much for the trade. However, the Lakers have somehow upgraded their roster. I'm not sure how this will turn out for them but they've got shooters and rebounder. The most recent one they acquired was Mo Mamba, he's traded for Pat Bev.
On the other side, the Phoenix Suns immediately became the heave favorites to win the championship this year after acquiring KD. What a crazy big 4.

Too many transfers that just happened within a short period of time. What team is still needing some buff for their roster? I am no longer impressed with powerful trios.

We have seen that many of these teams didn't find glory with that type of roster. It's still depending on their teamwork and just as what everyone is saying, about their chemistry.

Exactly, it depends on the teamwork of a team, but people are expecting to win a team that has a good roster as teamwork can be built along the way. Just like Kyrie Irving, he had his first game and they were the underdog against the Clippers and yet they won the game. That simply tells that Irving is easy to play with, he makes his teammates better and feels confident on the court.

Watch out when Luka returns, I'm sure they'll be a better team with good chemistry.

It's not that going to come out easy. These stars got also their attitudes and that might affect their team play and that's why it's always a question why a team that's full of superstars don't get along even in the semi finals.

We'll see not just on Mavs but also in other teams where the transfers and trades have already been confirmed and official.
