Nuggets won in the end because of Stratwher, they needed a player from a bench to do something to win the game and this guy came and did it. If Jokic gets help from his teammates they can win the NBA . Each time they lose its because only Jokic plays and other guys dont do anything. MPJ is just bad he cant hit anything
That guy has magic hands.

And I think that the Nuggets can do some shuffling if they don't have some hands on the three, they can let Strawther do his job.

It's better if he's on the crucial games than Westbrook.  Roll Eyes

Although he needs more experience but this is it, if he's given more chance to play on these kinds of playoffs, he'll sure improve more.

Jokić is playing incredible, but he alone is not enough in the play-offs. Braun and Murray also contributed well yesterday. Strawther was the most surprising. Normally he's not in the rotation, but when he was given the task, he did it right. MPJ is playing really bad. He played well in only 1 game in this series. Game 7 will be legendary. I can't wait for it.

Boston Celtics are starting Luke Kornet in the no. 5 position today, and Porzingis would have to come off the bench. Not a surprising move from Boston Celtics, Derrick White might have shot the lights out in game 5, but it was Luke Kornet with the most game winning plays imo, not just the 7 blocks he had, but he helped the Celtics with several extra possessions and got them into good transition with those blocks and board clearance.

So it's a question whether they can still continue to go and play without that needed rest of the young legs of the OKC will prevail in this series and probably the MVP has been decided, but I think SGA will still show why he should be the deserving MVP (if he lost to Jokic).
This is Game 7, and at this point, experience matters more than age.
OKC might be the younger team, but just look at the Nuggets. They were down by double digits, didn’t panic, and came back to win by double digits. That’s championship composure right there.

As for me, I’m just enjoying the game.

OKC is still the heavy favorite in Game 7, but fun fact, they only covered 1 of their 3 home wins so far.
So I’ve got a good feeling about the Nuggets pulling this off… and if they do, I’ll be cashing in on a sweet payout.

I do agree with the experience matter most as this point. But I think this is going to be a make or break game for the young OKC Thunder. They have have of the most prolific scorer and MVP candidate in SGA.

And they have the the homecourt advantage as well. So this is going to be a great game between the two candidates. So let' see how it goes, good luck to those who are going to back up the Nuggets here. Looks like they are also bang so it might take a toll on them.

I fell asleep during the first half, when I turned the TV on the Knicks had already finished the job. They were leading by 41 points. Jaylen Brown fouled out and with Tatum already out, it's the end of the road for Boston. And now Josh Hart completed his triple double.

Pacers vs. Knicks in the Eastern Conference Finals will be interesting. Back in the '94 East Finals, the Knicks reached the Finals in Game 7, but the Rockets ended up winning the championship. This will be their first Conference Finals since 2000. Honestly I don't see a clear favorite between the Pacers and the Knicks, both teams are evenly matched.

Some crazy outcome for sure. Almost everybody was sure to see the Cavs facing Boston in the eastern conference finals, and now ew have 2 totally different teams.
I think NY should be the kind of clear favorite. First of all they will have home court advantage, which of course is a big plus, but also their roster is deeper and they got more shooting. Inside the paint the Pacers are a bit stronger but that's it. Yet of course we never know what will happen since both teams surprised us in the previous round.

I still think though that this is a dream match, two huge underdogs against the best team in the East, the Cavs and the Celtics. And the Knicks has the clutch player of the year, but Pacers have Haliburton. And then battle in the inside, Miles Turner against the KAT and Mitchell. And then we have a lot of role players in both sides that can really step up. I think for me this is a great series, and it's really hard to predict although the Knicks has a better record and then they have the homecourt advantage. So maybe the Eastern finals might go to a game 7 and again, it's going to be very entertaining and hoping that no player will go down injured in this series.

Seems like Knicks could actually end up with a Conference finals, I started to think that I would never see that again, it's a shocker that we are seeing it. In any case, we are seeing OKC and Wolves finals, and Knicks vs Pacers finals. That could be a great situation for us because none of them were really teams that looked good before this season.

All four never been to finals for long, they are all brand new there, and while they did look good, it's teams that haven't been great recently or none of them won a ring in many years( I am sure there could be even one that never got it). So the fact that we are seeing these teams, makes it so much more entertaining. I was bored of the finals that we can predict, this one is better.

OKC still needs to jump the game 7 hurdle and the Celtics,

OKC crumble like a chicken on the 4th quarter. Sometimes strange happened to their shooting accuracy because all of them can’t shoot properly even SGA. This is same scenario on earlier games probably because they are pressured when Nuggets is rallying.

Quote
I really hope the Knicks wins at MSG or else it's game over.

Knicks so good on crucial games. I think they can make it even if Boston forced game 7.
for real OKC keeps disappointing in this series i expected this to be done by now

I knew it, the Nuggets won't easily back down, just like in the first round. Aside from Jokic, Murray and Braun also scored 20+ points to help the Nuggets force a Game 7. And what a high free throw, 27pts compared to only 10 for OKC. As long as they can help Jokic on offense, they have a chance to beat them in Game 7. Let's see tomorrow if the Celtics can also force a Game 7, since they did manage to win Game 5 even without Tatum.

I thought Nuggets will be done on this game because SGA is unstoppable on 1st and 2nd quarter but everything is in favor with them when SGA received his 4th personal foul.

Jaylen Williams is struggling badly on this series that makes OKC failed to close this game. I think OKC can still beat Nuggets even with help for Jokic if OKC players will do the same.

SGA is unstoppable if his teammates is creating space for him or allow him to create a play.
i couldnt even understand the ref issue

I didn't expect this result either. I thought Boston would do whatever it takes to tie the series and advance to the next round.

Even at the opening of the title, Boston was the championship candidate for many people, including me, but it didn't happen this year.
Boston wasn't bad at the beginning of the game, but the film broke in the second quarter and the gap widened. We've seen comebacks from very big gaps in the past, but it didn't happen for Boston this time.
In the Indiana vs. New York matchup, Indiana seems like the slightly better side, like Indiana, is my favorite. Let's see how it turns out.

The MVP award is based on regular-season results only, not playoff results. In other words, the outcome of Game 7 of the Thunder-Nuggets series won't affect it.
And if we compare Jokic and SGA's stats in the regular season, I think Jokic's stats look better because he is a more versatile player. But it should be noted that the MVP is determined by voting, and not always the best stats guarantee the award.

Is there still a chance that Jokic will be crowned as MVP? What do you think?

The MVP award is based on regular-season results only, not playoff results. In other words, the outcome of Game 7 of the Thunder-Nuggets series won't affect it.
And if we compare Jokic and SGA's stats in the regular season, I think Jokic's stats look better because he is a more versatile player. But it should be noted that the MVP is determined by voting, and not always the best stats guarantee the award.

Its undeniable that Jokic stats is more better than Shai look at this.

Quote
2025 NBA MVP finalists
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander | Point guard | Oklahoma City Thunder

76 games | 32. 7 PPG | 5 RPG | 6.4 APG

Nikola Jokic | Center | Denver Nuggets

70 games | 29. 6 PPG | 12.7 RPG | 10.2 APG

He have outstanding triple double performance which provably a huge advantage for Jokic to win this more details is here https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/45070754/2025-nba-mvp-nikola-jokic-shai-gilgeous-alexander-giannis-antetokounmpo

That's why I believe that Jokic would gonna take the MVP this season. Shai is good in scoring but he's not a triple double machine.

Giannis have more better stats than Shai in 67 games that's why it will be controversial if they give this season MVP to Shai.

Yes even if the Nuggets losses but if the criteria favors Jokic more then he gets the MVP award. Just remember the past years that they've only won 1 title (Nuggets) and yet Jokic has 3 MVP awards. And the same goes with Joel Embiid when he's won the MVP award and yet his team didn't even win in the playoffs. So, last year Jokic got the MVP award yet they've been eliminated by the Minnesota Timberwolves.

That's why I believe that Jokic would gonna take the MVP this season. Shai is good in scoring but he's not a triple double machine.
I also want him to win the MVP again. Stats wise, it's his.

The 2 players that I said in my previous post that must step up like what they did in Game 5 didn't step up on Game 6. I'm talking about Kornet and White. White after scoring 30+ points only scored 8 points while Kornet only got 5 points with only 1 block. It might be a different story if both of them stepped up. Anyway, the Knicks won in 6 games, and it's a must win for them or else... it will be huge disappointment for them if they ended up losing that one.

It's the first time New York are going to the Eastern Conference Finals in the past 25 years so this is significant for those Knicks fans. Now it's New York Vs. Indiana. It's a bit surprising that Indiana went on to defeat the Cavaliers, but roster-wise, New York has the upper hand on this one so I would go with them. It's anybody's game though because we don't even know how the Knicks can stop Haliburton or if the Pacers can stop Brunson. I'll go with New York on this one in 7 games just because of the home court advantage. Cheesy

And here's where coach's decision is very important placing players with good blend and a combinations where everyone will work together, like what it said that Jokic alone or both him and Jamal is not enough to win but the whole cast where role players are needed to provide the help that they can bring to win the game.

A game 7 where both teams got that chance winning and move on to the WCF, let see who's going to advance as both deserves but only one can move forward to compete against the waiting Wolves.

Cheesy

No one see this to happen since many expect that Cavs will finish this smoothly and they have huge chance to go on finals. But Pacers bring good surprise and they made those unexpected things to happen and they made Cavaliers like a easy prey for them and prove something that they are not easy team to defeat.

That's why there's sudden shift of attention and fans gather some good confidence that they might be the one will step up on finals. But for sure defeating Knicks would be a big challenge knowing that they are in good streak and they finish their long time drought and now eager to win to bring a championship for their team. Somehow this series became more interesting because those unexpected teams float up and have a chance to became a champion this season.

It was not fair enough though, as Jason Tatum got a season ending injury in this series and so it's just a matter of time before the Knicks win it easy and that's what happened.

I don't blame Paul Pierce though, he is one Celtic legend and even in the court watching the games with some out Celtic legend too. So it will not sit well with him that's why he pick the Pacers to beat them. And maybe he is correct as the Pacers is also one of the most under-rated team and for the first time in man years, they have reach the conference finals.

I wouldn't call it not fair. Last year when they've won, I think that some teams that they have beat also were not complete and have some injuries. This is part of the game that key players become injured in an unexpected moments like the important games in the playoffs.

I don't blame Paul Pierce though, he is one Celtic legend and even in the court watching the games with some out Celtic legend too. So it will not sit well with him that's why he pick the Pacers to beat them. He's emotional and it's normal for him to react that way because he's been a franchise player ever since his NBA career. And of course when the opposing team beat your team, you'd like the other team to get on for them to beat the Knicks which is the Pacers. The first game of Pacers and Knicks are going to take a while so, they will have enough rest.

Before we forget, the Pacers somewhat did the same with Giannis and the Bucks. That's why there were scuffle between the Father of Haliburton and Giannis. And Giannis said in post interview that even if you win, you need to be humbled too. And probably this didn't happen when the fans of the Knicks sung a goodbye song.

But if you are that competitive, you wont' take this negatively, but instead, just like Kobe's mentality, you go to the gym the next day and train very hard for the next season so that when you face the same team, you are better than them.

I'm not sure about Tatum's injury, but it looks like worst and he could be out indefinitely.
