Billups' arrest was a surprise for me as well. However, when we look at the details of the incident, we see that it has nothing to do with basketball. Some media outlets reported the news as if he had been arrested for sports betting fraud. That's not the case.
In Portland, Tiago Splitter has taken over in place of Billups. His basketball career was okay. Let's see how his first NBA head coach experience turns out. It's a good chance if he can use it well.

I didn't know that Wemby did that extreme training during the summer. Of course he has to do that as his career is starting to go up.

Not only Wemby, the whole San Antonio team looks scary in my opinion. They are young and hungry, and with a center piece like Wembanyama they definitely can go places!! All of these are "ALLEGED" and there's a famous quote when it comes to crimes like this and it states: "INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY"

TBH, I also don't know why there are some players who are involving themselves into some betting scandals like this. On Billups' case, it's a poker game and there's a mafia being involved so it's a different incident than that on Rozier where it's a betting related issue. Well, at the end of the day we don't know why they're still involving themselves to these kind of crimes where they are earning way more than 90% of the people around the world already. I guess let's just wait for the authorities to give their final verdict on these 2 cases.

The question that comes to my mind now is: "Who's next?" or "Is there any more?" I hope that there isn't anymore, but the reputation of the league which has been decreasing for a long time already is now going down even more.

In today's game, Oklahoma defeated Indiana 135-141 on the road.
SGA played 45 minutes and scored 55 points.
Indiana looks set to struggle this year without Haliburton.

Most people assumed it was about gambling on NBA games, mainly even his own games, but that's not it. I like that it was mentioned here, it was a poker game that he and some mob people rigged so that's an important difference.

If you can do this properly then there are no issues that would be all that bad, we need to make sure that we can make some good return on here and can't really do that much difference. Poker game rigging is bad, and he will have some hard time, but at the end of the day, it's good to know, even though he was a bad person enough to rig poker games and steal money, eh still managed to keep himself away from betting on his own games. Aaron Gordon tonight… Oh my goodness. That has to be the best stat line of his career. He put up 50 points on 17-21 from the field, 10 for 11 from three point range, and 6 for 6 from the free throw line. He also had 8 rebounds and 2 assists. A shame they ended up losing the game in overtime. That was a monster performance.

Well, NBA players used to earn significantly less than they do now. If I'm not mistaken, Billups earned just over $100 million during his entire NBA career, which is the amount that top players now earn in a couple of seasons, and average players earn in 4-5 seasons.
However, it's obvious that even $100 million is a huge amount, but I think that many NBA players, including Billups, don't particularly care about financial discipline during their careers, which ultimately leads to some players being left with almost nothing after their careers end.

Both games were really entertaining. I wasn’t able to watch the OKC game, but I did catch the Warriors game. I honestly thought the Nuggets could upset them at home, but Curry was just on another level, so confident with his shot. Even from a long distance, he still managed to sink those threes. That’s pure confidence right there. Now the Warriors are 2-0, a great start for them. And you can also see Horford’s value, hitting that open three when it mattered.

He is good when he is not holding back. OKC is just lucky on their last matchup because Nuggets still has heavy baggage MPJ and AG is injured.

AG perform a monster performance like or very good player in clutch if has no injury. Now that MPJ is gone I believe Nuggets can show their full potential now that they strengthened again their bench with their previous veteran players.

Inflation is probably a drive that salary has been increased to players now lol but that's just my opinion. Base on the article I read he got around $107M but right now he's net worth was around $35M that's 1/3 from his entire earnings, he's probably not that clutch to financial matters I'd say. He's earning $4.5M as a head coach and probably that's not enough. Well, there's no final verdict yet but with is in on this, I don't know what to tell.

If I heard it right, Gordon hit around ten three-pointers in that game, so he was definitely a huge help for the Nuggets. Glad to see this team playing healthy again, but the Warriors just don’t like losing at home, and now they’re 2–0, same as OKC.

They’ll face each other again soon, and hopefully that time it’s at the Nuggets’ home court..
I’d really like to see how Denver goes for revenge.
