NBA Champion Khris Middleton keeps popping up on my smartphone Chrome every time I create a new tab, so I was intrigued and checked it.

He is now playing for the Washington Wizards, which we all know has been a bad team for many years. But now, they have veterans, CJ McCollum (acquired through trading Jordan Poole), Brogdon, and Khris. Some are saying this may be the best roster the Wizards have, and it actually will help the young players to learn from the veterans.

They acquired the number 6 draft pick, Tre Johnson, too. As a rookie, it will be a difficult path ahead, but with veterans like Middleton, who is also a shooter and a champion, by your side, it could help him be a great player. Hoping that the hamstring injury is just minor.

I don't think so that this is the best roster the Wizards have in the modern era. I would still go with the Wizards more than a decade ago where they have Bradley Beal, John Wall, and Paul Pierce when they're competing in the playoffs against the top teams. I can't remember that year, but if you're an NBA fan for quite some time, I know you've also seen that roster as well. That's the peak of the Wizards for me.

Now as for the current roster of the team, Middleton is now injury prone, and while I commend him for how he played when he's still in the Bucks, the fact that he's an injury-prone makes him unreliable. McCollum also declined his performance ever since he got traded to the Pelicans. Those young players like Johnson and Coulibaly might learn one or two from these veterans, but as always, they will remain as a bad team still.

Middleton is a great player and a big factor with the ring they got with the Bucks, wizards don't have a legitimate star, that is why they are playing like that, if Middleton will be healthy which is questionable, since he is hampered by injuries during the bucks days, i hope wizard will build a team that can compete to the conference finals, they should make a big move, its been so long playing bad, they have to act, but do they have the cap space to rebuild?

Those are the prime version of Middleton and to a extent Giannis as well was entering his athleticism year that's why they won a ring that season. But after that, it's hard for them to replicate the success as Middleton was prone to injury already and it seems that in a span of a year, his body deteriorated so quick and now he is bouncing around the league and obviously out of his best year. And it's hard to see him in a cellar dweller team like Washington Wizards. In any case, it could be that we might see him in just couple of years and maybe retire if that body and knee will not hold up.

I'm not really sure if that is a good trade or line up as most of them have the same position. It might have been the Wizards is the dumping ground of old and veteran players? It's good that they have traded Poole, I mean in Warriors he was really that good, but in Washington he was really a mess and trying to be their franchise player but he did made a lot of of "Shaqtin-a-fool" moved.

So I'm not expecting the Wizards to be a good contender for the upcoming season. They could still be in the bottom, but the thing is that no other talented players might want to go to team, unless they got lucky on picking undrafted and then turning him into a monster.

I doubt this is the best since John Wall prime era makes Wizards relevant for many years.

This current roster is good on paper if we didn’t factor in the age of the players involved. They are not on their prime so I doubt this team will bring huge impact unlike when these player is acquired on their prime.

I agree on your opinion that the benefits of this new roster is to give experience to young players.

Wizards can't do anything no matter how hard they try. It's clear that they are not that great and it's obvious that they are going to end up with some troubles. So do not assume that we are going to end up with better results. Wizards is just simply tanking and they are going to keep on tanking for a while longer, it's just the way things are.

If they keep doing this, and keep getting bad contracts in return of some picks, or just simply get them and tank and give the kids some mentorship with these stars, then they are going to be better in the future. Honestly it's all about being a destination team, and Wizards isn't one, hence why in most cases big names win the titles, whereas smaller teams do not win it that often.

I don't see any reason for them to fire Steve Kerr at this point. They're not the same as the other teams when the team plays poorly and slack of their performance, they never blame the coach. I've seen them at some point that they were likely less of a known team when they keep on losing for a season or two. But despite that, they have never thought of kicking Kerr out of the team. Maybe, someday in the future that the management will start to realize that it's a right thing to do. But for now, I don't see any reason for them to do it. They might just compare it with other teams that did it during the season and those teams that have replaced their good coaches also fell.

it will come coaches now come and go, its the management decision if they are going to fire kerr, if he will not make it to the finals 2-3 season its over for him, team have expectations when they reach the finals couple of times and win rings, but i don't give kerr the credit for it, since its the players prime, he just lucky it handed to him, while jackson train and mold them, surely kerr harvest someone's crop, but it is how it is.

John Wall era or even Westbrook as he was able to bring back the Wizards to the playoff if my memory serves me right. But that was just for one season as Westbrook goes to the Lakers after his Wizard stint.

There are really teams that might remain below in the standings. That's how the setup should be, there could be sacrificial lamb for many years until something has change or they acquire a great player. So they are good in paper but I don't see it competing in high level.

A championship coach getting replaced? I don’t see that happening, guys like Kerr and Spoelstra, they’ve been around a long time, and even Popovich, who retired last May 2, had that same respect. And, even if they’re not winning championships every season, they stay consistent in the playoffs, that’s why they’re kept around, because they’re respected, and the fans still love them.

Latest NBA rumor I’m seeing is that the Houston Rockets are willing to do whatever they have to in order to pair Kevin Durant with Giannis. I don’t think they have the cards to get him, but you never know. The Bucks can’t let Giannis walk in free agency in my opinion. They’re going to have to trade him.

That's...weird. I mean seriously, what is wrong with her? It was already weird when she was dating MJ's son, how the hell do you do that, but now this little kid? I mean I get that he is of legal age, but it's really weird without a doubt. Thankfully it didn't put anything in between MJ and Scottie, not sure about Dennis but he never looked like he was full in the head anyways lol.

And while on the subject of Dennis Rodman, I feel like we do not have that kind of player anymore. We do have "dirty" players, and Dennis wasn't the cleanest player ever, but we do not have hustle like that anywhere anymore, players do not even try or attempt that anymore. It's really the worst feeling because I watched that era of basketball with love.

There are cases that after winning a championship a coach has been replaced. It's probably the culture of the team itself and not all, maybe the likes of coaches you mentioned have valued in the organization that's why they won't be replaced as they have full faith and trust on them.

But one example is Mike Budenholzer, after giving the bucks a ring in 2019-2020, he was fired by the team two years later because they were upset in the first round. Sure Kerr, and Spoelstra lead their teams in the finals and lost, but again, as I have said, it could be that the management valued them even if they didn't win in the finals.
