I really hope this becomes reality because I’m sure Cavs fans would gladly welcome LeBron back, especially to help Mitchell who tends to choke in big moments.

The guy has nothing to prove, he might just preparing for retirement, and cannot wait how haters will react and how will the nba looks like when he is retired, i don't think he care's if he win another ring or not, only the haters have different opinion, and making assumptions, if he really want to its easy go to the team with the bigger chance to have the ring.

He has nothing left to prove, but if he wants to be considered the best in the NBA, he needs more rings. At least tie Michael Jordan who has 6. LeBron currently has 4, so he needs 2 more to match MJ’s achievement.

The thing is, Jordan only played 15 seasons while LeBron is entering his 22nd, so even if he matches, fans will still point out that LeBron needed 23 seasons to get 6 rings, while Jordan did it in 15.

The play mostly revolves around Steph, and it gives an open man whenever he moves with or without the ball.

Yeah he's not going unto that phase so I guess that clear him out and he's ready to go back on NBA.

If it happens that GSW would get him then this is great addition for them knowing that he's provably a good fit on their system since he can shoot 3s and spread on the floor. He also have good credentials since Beasley is also a deadly 3pt shooter.

But I don't know if he can be a good replacement for Klay since I think many would try but I guess it will be so hard for them to replicate what Klay could do in their team.

That’s all up to LeBron. If he’s only chasing more championships, then coming back to the Cavaliers and taking a minimum contract shouldn’t be an issue if his goal is legacy. It would add a lot to his legacy if he wins more titles with the Cavs, the first team he played with for many seasons.

For sure Cavs will be relevant again and not the number 1 choker on the East. I believe Cavs just lack an experienced leader to win a championship since they are strong individually and during regular season when there’s no pressure at all.

Mitchell is always choking on big moments when he is needed the most to lead the Cavs. Current Cavs line-up is good for long term so I’m sure Bron can still get in there before he retired while Cavs is still strong.

For this to happen, there are two possible ways. Either Lebron plays out his contract at Lakers and when that ends, he goes to Cavs for the minimum. Or he buys out his own contract from lakers, mutually terminate it, convince Lakers for that, and then goes to Cavs, leaving insane amount of money on the table. I have to say, neither of those makes any sense to me, but the first one could be the one they do.

He will play out rest of his contract here, try to win some more, Doncic is there, so the yare a better team, and hope for a title, and if he fails, he could just go back to Ohio, and hope that he could do a lot better now. That is going to be tough, but not an impossible thing to handle, it should be possible.

Sure, his shooting was nice and opened the floor for Steph, but it was his defensive ability that made him a perfect match for Draymond on the defensive end. His ability to compliment Steph and Draymond on both ends of the floor was what made it all work. Once his ACL tore, he was never the same defensively. That’s why he had to go.

ACL will put something in your head, being afraid that it will happen again he may need a few months during his comeback to recover, but trade rumors add to that, maybe he don't want to get injured before trade deadline since it might put his value down, also the team already decided to trade him, so they might not let him play more so that he can be trade healthy, and GSW wan't to move on with him, at the end of the day its just business.

It will depend on his decisions. If he prioritizes money over legacy, he will demand for a max contract for his final year assuming that he wants to be a Cavalier but still having a max contract. Will the Cavs give it to him? Of course, not. Who in the hell wants to give a 42-year old a max contract. His performance will decline quicker than we expect now that he's beyond 40.

Speaking of money isn't an issue, I wonder why he didn't request for a pay cut, and opt in on his final year of his contract with the Lakers. I mean having a 15 million pay cut would give more flexibility towards the team as they can sign better players, and they might've let Finney-Smith stay if he took that pay cut. Anyway, I don't also think that he will accept a minimum veteran salary either. If I'm guessing, a 1 year with around 10-20M contract is the most plausible one that he can accept.

He's not known as defensive player and his defensive rating decline more when he got ACL injury.

Klay is well known as greatest pure shooter and great splash buddy with Curry. He made significant contribution for the success of Warriors. But same as other great things comes with an end when Klay got injured and other negative factors occurred. I guess its hard to replicate their success created especially that its rare situation to find those kind of set up well blend together before.

If Curry wasn’t injured, I believe they had a real chance to reach the finals. They beat OKC multiple times in the regular season, and that’s the team that ended up as champions last year. So I think the Warriors are still a strong team, especially now that Butler has spent more time with them which helps build chemistry. The only concern is health, if either Butler or Curry gets injured, their finals chances drop a lot.

As for Klay, I think it depends on the matchup. Both Dallas and the Warriors aren’t really defensive teams, so their opponents can easily score 110+ points, just like the report said.

Of course, a prime Klay cannot be replace, and I do think that during his best year, not only shooting but he was a decent defender himself. And after his injury, he had help the Warriors won another ring. Although he doesn't like what they offer him in return, it's like it rub the wrong way that's why he just decided to move to Dallas after so many years and many championship with the Warriors.

I think the Warriors have moved on already, not a replacement but they have Butler as well. Another elite player that can help Curry. Unfortunately, last season, after they defeated the second best team in the West in the playoff and playing against the Wolves, Curry got injured and so the end of their run last year. If he could have been healthy, might be a different series outcome and they could have won against the Wolves.

Nah man, this roster lacks a lot of things, and it's getting old. I mean the main guys (Curry, Butler, Green) are all 35 or older, that's old! Especially on defense getting older and slower has a HUGE impact on your game! Who else is there to actually take over a game? Kuminga maybe, but he hasn't prove himself yet. Good thing is, he is playing for a new contract so he might give it all this season, but who else on the team could make that big step? I don't really see anybody.

You’re right, Thompson is more versatile than Curry that time since he has good defense while Curry is a liability when it comes to defense.

I’m not confident enough to Jimmy Buckets since he is a choker too when he needed the most especially when they are on finals with Miami. Jimmy is a good overall player that lack of closure on crucial like finals.

His clutch performance is always on and off. He is lucky that he become tandem with Curry.
