When they named Damon, I directly thought they meant Damon Lillard as he is currently playing their games. And with Rozier they immediately took him out of Miami's active roster. Don't know what happened after he got arrested or the outcome of the FBI questioning but that could take months and still even if he is release after that they will more than likely release him from the Heat.
No need to take risk like that on a players past when guilty for getting paid for rigging games you are involved in.
Even Lebron at one point was getting linked to those sources but he hasn't had anything of the sort to connect him to any of what was going on.

There is no connection Lebron, except that Damon was his former team mate and then he uses to be a shooting coach for Lebron. Although Damon could use that inside information as he has a lot of friends and connections inside the NBA not just players but trainers as well.

Even Lakers are getting the FBI probe about this whole gambling saga. Not that they are in any responsible part, it's just that someone was getting insider information about if Lebron would play or not. Turns out it wasn't even quality info because even when Lebron didn't play, the gambler bet on Lakers to lose because of it, but Lakers ended up winning. But that is just the tip of the iceberg, we are getting NBA being investigated as a whole, to see if there are any illegal gambling going on, Billups wasn't the only one and will not be the only one evidently.

I don't know if it is Lebron or AD, but Jones was close to Lebron that's why they might have to go and investigate that case as Damon could have known a lot of information that is not available to the public. That's why when he tip off that some players might not play to certain individuals and he has been paid up front for that information.

I am sensing this will put the league at unease, even if you are not doing anything illegal, you would be worried if anyone around you ever did behind your back. Like what if a teammate did, how would you know?

For sure, everyone who plays bad moving forward might be look at the negative way. Like making turn overs, missing shots that he usually makes. Or even a coach is now being scrutinized because of the involvement of one former player and current coach. This is really a scandal and very hard for the NBA commissioner for sure.

Aaron Gordon had the game of his career, but losing like that is frustrating. He didn't want the match ball after the game because he didn't want to go home with an L. While he was that good, Cam Johnson and Jokić shot bricks, that was the reason for the loss. Gordon is in his prime right now. I believe we're going to see more of these performances from him this season.

Wemby scoring 40 was of course a big show for the world to see how amazing he is. We are seeing how he could be the next big superstar, only if he can stay healthy. Everything about him, from his height, to his weight to his previous injury, makes us doubt that he will heave a very long and healthy career but I wish to be wrong. That dude has a potential to be a superstar beyond what we have seen in years.

I think he has a potential to be the biggest name that joined the league since Lebron, we are talking about a huge talent here while being like 20 feet tall. This should be not a big deal if he ends up in injury though because if he does then it would mean nothing to them at all and can't be a superstar.

I think there is no him being the next big superstar potentially, he already is. Look at him, how can you stop that. The height, the shiftyness, the shooting touch, the love for the game. He basically has every single attribute he need to be great, and he uses it to the best of his ability. It's actually scary and he looks more and more like a player you would create on NBA2K, haha. But yeah, staying healthy is a big factor of course. If he does, there will be several awards on the horizon, MVP/DPOY and others should be no problem for him.

I did see something mentioning Kevin Garnett as being involved in one of the poker games the FBI investigated. It appears from the wording that he wasn’t involved as an insider though. Watching the Knicks game… After the game Josh Hart got caught on TV being left hanging for another handshake. That guy has the worst handshake timing of all time. I actually busted out laughing that they caught it on TV.

Boston lost to the Knicks. Getting outscored 14-42 in the second quarter was too much to come back from.

Again, with almost a triple-double using the "block" stats. This dude is crazy. It's fun to watch players doing defense, but he is something else. Fingers-crossed, Wemby healthy the whole season means he will get the MVP.
It's him, Jokic, Doncic, or SGA. I think he has a lot of chances if the NBA wants a new face of the game. Anyway, it will be about the votes. He just needs to complete that requirement of games played, and the media votes will do the rest. MVP and DPOY. That will be awesome!

I have to say, Luka is a lot more comfortable this season in Laker uniform, and it's just very timely that LeBron's absence early this season could test Luka's leadership. So far, he delivers. Now, if the Lakers are going to maintain this level of energy throughout this season, I mean, the intensity on the defensive side, they could be a lot scarier when LeBron comes back. Kudos to Marcus Smart as well for bringing that intensity. He made a lot of effort defensively, diving to get the loose ball, that gave the whole team an extra energy just like Luka said in the post game interview.

As for the Spurs, they beat the Pelicans in overtime and Wemby put up 29-11-9, that 9 is blocks. Another unbelievable performance from the alien. We've gotten used to it by now.

I found the Celtics weaker compared to past 2 seasons. After the trades, the players who left haven't really been replaced. Even if Tatum returns, I don't think they'll be very competitive this season.

As early as this season they should not force things, because they might end up like the Cleveland in the playoffs that they are tired and unable to continue the same level of play in the playoffs, i hope luka will have the same level of plays in the coming month, and stay away from being injured, James strategy was to rest in the start of the season this has been the routine after he becomes too old, in this way the body would heal fast, dallas needs to figure things up, kyrie will be available maybe in the playoffs so they better learn to play as a team.

Although he fouled out of the game. But it was a duel between him and Zion and obviously he got the better of it as he blocked Zion multiple times. And as what we have said, in just a year Wemby has really improved a a lot.

It's a very different Celtics when they were a champion. They have disbanded their core already and they are in a rebuilding phase. There was even reports that they might tank this season to have a good chance to get a better pick.

I placed my bets for the Indiana Pacers -2.5 against the Grizzlies and Phoenix Suns (+13.5) against the Denver Nuggets.

There are a lot of players that are out in the Pacers, especially Tyrese Haliburton and TJ McConnell, but I'm positive they will get this game against the Grizzlies.
For Nuggets vs Phoenix, I just bet on Phoenix because of the good handicap points and the odds, hoping I can win the handicap.

Yes, I do agree, we shouldn't expect anything for the Celtics this season. Tatum is out and I don't think that Jaylen Brown can carry the team alone. No more KP, Horford and Holiday to help him. It was only Derick White that was keep as part of the core team before. But it's not enough, maybe they will tank but I don't believed that. They will have to give everything this season and wait for Tatum to comeback.

And talking about Billups and his team the Trail Blazers, they've defeated the Warriors as interim coach Tiago Splitter's first win as interim coach.

Indeed, knowing the impact of Smart whatever you uniform he wear that intensity adds up to the whole team, I like how Luka enjoying his game with his squad, that's smile on his face each time he made a good play and basket, that's how he attracts fans and gives them the entertainment that they've paid whenever they watch each games he play.

With how they adjust from that last game loss against the Warriors, it's going to be a more interesting when LeBron start playing back and adds up what he can provide for the team.
