Bitcoin without Altcoin ?

I also do not think the bitcoin need the altocoin because bitcoin is the main and that will never change.
We need no altcoins but its nice for some trading profit.

altcoins can not make more people interested in bitcoin because someone who doesn't know about bitcoin doesn't know about altcoins at all.

do some research if you don't believe me. go ask some random people "do you know what bitcoin is" then ask them "do you know what XXX is?" {replace XXX with your favorite altcoin that you think has an impact on bitcoin} then you realize what i mean.

besides with the scandals that these altcoins have like the recent hack of ethereum it is better that people don't know about them first because that is more harmful than beneficial.

Bitcoin without altcoin is like a bitcoin that has only few ways of earning. If without altcoin i think its hard to earn more bitcoin because many are here bitcoin user earn in altcoin if theres no altcoin theres no bitcoin others.

Well altcoin drives me to have interest in Bitcoin.  And maybe I am one of those few that were introduced to Bitcoin world by an altcoin.  this two i think, in altcoin side, goes side by side.  In all exchange, altcoin are paired with BTC.  And BTC without altcoin maybe have less supporters like me .  Oh btw, there are people here who doesnt know about Bitcoin that much but pretty much knowledgable about an altcoin.  It's all about promotion if you ask me.  And that Altcoin - BTC pair in all exchanges pretty much say that altcoins plays a big role in promoting BTC.

That is not that true actually. Not that many people buy Bitcoin with altcoin. Most people buy altcoin with Bitcoin. Other peolpe just use signature campaigns or faucets to earn Bitcoin.

i think by earning bitcoin through altcoins he means trading. because all of the altcoins that i have seen so far were created just to be bought, then pumped then dumped in order to help you gain more bitcoin in this process.

Bitcoin without altcoin is just like normal, bitcoin will not be affected without altcoins because the idea of altcoin is came from bitcoin. And now a days more people buy altcoin with bitcoin, and you can get bitcoin even without altcoin, and trading is still alive without altcoin, coz  local currencies traded with bitcoin can be good also.

If bitcoin without altcoin, i think it will be good for bitcoin. So all people only use 1 cryptocoin that is bitcoin and i'm sure it will make the price of bitcoin increase.

I think it will be bad if their is no altcoins because it will affect to our daily profit because by trading altcoins in altcoin public exchanges can help us to earn big amount of bitcoins weekly depending on the trend of altcoin that we choose.

Well, I don't think that altcoins really contribute much to the cryptocurrency community. Most of them are designed to benefit the founders, instead of actually serving a purpose.

So i don't really mind bitcoin without altcoin, in fact, i would like that to happen.

Yes bitcoin is the only digital coin which can survive without any help from Alt coin. You can see the all the alt coins value decreasing as bitcoin price increasing these days.

While alts are derived from Bitcoin, the successful ones like ether bring a new idea to the table.
Even the blocksize debate may result in a  hard fork and creation of an alt.
The presence of alts is necessary for innovation, but don't expect to make money just by investing in one.

Yes, that will create more transactions while trading as more buying and selling there is more chances of getting to higher price of bitcoin so we can get more profits. without altcoins it is definite that bitcoin will not gain more popularity !

Yeah it will be hard to many users especially altcoin traders to earn big profit a month because i think that trading altcoins is one of the best way to get big profits. So if they remove that "altcoins" it will cause for a low progress for bitcoin because some of the users (i think) will not continue to use bitcoin because it will be harder to them to choose method that are equal for their profits in trading.
