Bitcoin without Altcoin ?

Without other alt coin, bitcoin will still have its value but not this much. The more altcoin are created, the more engaged bitcoin, the more scarce it get, the more value it gets.

There is a downside to this, which is the fact that many users lose money with altcoins. Many developers make crowdfundings, ICOs, but never commit to delivering the products or improvements on time, bringing panic to the market and causing people to move away from crypto.

Its not the main point of bitcoin for sure even without alt coins its value can stiĺl go to this far as many adoptions are showing the process and the offer service is much easier thats why some investors and businessman already adopting the chain.

yeah you have the point and i think the price of bitcoin is more than the present price because many other investors are invest in other crypto or altcoin.
and i think the adoption of bitcoin and more stores online are accepting bitcoin is the reason why the price of bitcoins keeps increase.
Altcoin is just a alternative for bitcoin and they are made just to fill missing parts from bitcoin..

In my opinion it's because of the bitcoin that all these other altcoins gained whatever little popularity and value they could manage to have they have today so I don't think they have done any good or harm to bitcoin or if there presence have made any impact on bitcoin. Each and every day new coins are being introduced and they stay there for a few days or months and then disappear into oblivion but bitcoin has been here since it came into existence and I believe it's gonna stay here for ages to come. Bitcoin has done well and will be doing well without any altcoins.

Just like in real currency, there are local money and the main currency is dollar. And if the crypto currency doesn't have any competitors or alt coins at all. Then the price pump of bitcoin is going to be fast because those people who are investing with alt coins will simply invest to bitcoins. They will buy bitcoin and that will make the value of bitcoin higher because of the demand.

You are right it is something the people investing on altcoins is they will invest back to bitcoin because there is no altcoin to invest on. When the demand is getting high then the price also getting high so we could say that if lot of users or investing bitcoin it can affect the price of bitcoin.

Will become bad for me because of i can not make growing up my bitcoins, usually i make increase my bitcoins via trading altcoins and if bitcoins without altcoins it is mean there are no instrument of investments for making profit with low amount of capital om trading activity, except i have large capital for trading bitcoin to fiat money.

I don't think so. If you still hold your Bitcoin while there are no other digital currencies, you can easily get rich after a few years. Bitcoin price is being blocked by others cryptos such as Etherium. If Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency, don't you think that after every year, Bitcoin price will increase by 200%-300% ?

You are right if you make investment into bitcoins use long term strategy and just for pasive income but for the people who go in bitcoin for make money daily it is something different, they need altcoins for make profit every days.

Yeah, Monero, Litecoin, I would even include Ethereum Classic, but I don't know what's going on with the market. Since the beginning the price has dropped a lot, maybe Ethereum's problem lies in the fundamentals. In that case, the problem is valid for both chains.

Anyway, I believe that these coins will only survive if the improvements can not be implemented in Bitcoin itself, if necessary.

But there is a point in my mind that the altcoins are started by the developers who were once involve in bitcoin and now have started their own coin and they are using their own skills/ideas for their coins so if they use their skills/ideas only for bitcoin then it will get a speedy success and will capture the finance of the world within a few years and there will be no any institution and currency which will defeat bitcoin.

Bitcoin without altcoin is like monopolizing the business of cryptocurrency. The price or value of Bitcoin will be so high if there is no other cryptocurrency competencies, and with this altcoin people have more choices in transacting virtual money not only Bitcoin.

I'm not sure it's a good deal to mine those coins... They don't have the same stability, popularity and "tradition" of Bitcoin, making this kind of investment very risk.

You can start mining it today, and after 1-2 months, the coin price downs half of it price. So, you lost a lot of time and energy mining it and had loss in the end. I think it can worth if it's done as an experiment. Don't put a lot of money on it, just use part of your money to invest in alt-coins and alt-coin's mining.

For the purpose of speculation, altcoins have their utility, in fact there is potential for profit, but there is also the potential for losses, and this leads many inexperienced users to have bad times in the market. I think altcoins trading should be recommended only to users who have good trading skills.

With regard to altcoins mining, there is the positive side of bringing new users to crypto.
