there would need to be at this moment approx 1950 masternodes for the rewards to equal staking in profitability. we are still a bit away from that amount. as the total coincap continues to slowly grow, so does the required number of masternodes to hit the equal mark between masternodes and stakers.

Distribution is looking very nice at this point. When the threshold is attained, to maintain more profitability, holders will need to aquire both masternodes and stake coins to maintain the threshold. Which is why we created the seesaw reward mechanism, to allow the network to adjust the rewards to maintain a nice equilibrium..

Next step will be to adjust the network fee's to offset the inflationary aspects of the PoS network to keep the network from becoming hyper-inflationary (Not a big issue at the moment)

that's phenomenal (about coinpayments).... well gents (and ladies) this is looking bright.. everyone should have anonn coin in their portfolio , also running masternodes is low on electricity! and that is awesome for countries where electricity is expensive.. zcash phenomena adds to the rest , I have very positive outlook!

also you have nice geo distribution with master nodes.. that # 1279 wiil very likely to go up as POS rewards wind down..

I'm curious why you think more people will set up masternodes when block rewards will eventually be going down?

Masternodes will be more profitable than staking alone until the total number of coins held in masternodes exceeds 30% of the coincap, so there will be more nodes until that happens.

This isn't by any means a get rich quick scam coin. It will take time to get where we need to be, it will take more Dev's and more community support, but we will get there!!

Speaking about more devs - I remember some developer who left Darkcoin when Evan Duffield announced rebranding to DASH. He was disappointed with the direction DASH was going and was looking for something new to work on. Can't recollect much more unfortunately. Maybe someone here does? If such a person (or people) exist, it might be a good idea to reach out to them to join DNET.

my wallet indicates that "staking is not active" and its been close to 12hrs since dnet was deposited into wallet.

the wallet has been unlocked for staking the whole time.

yeah , some chunks of 100K (10 master nodes) are waiting in that neighborhood to unload and fuel our network more aka > 2000 master node count and + wil be fun

and once there is a large network, any crypto / feature improvement done with quality and we are going sky high

might begin a collection to spin off additional nodes.. was really trying to get 1000 per node which would be like 8 master nodes (I think I will round up around 100 and just let it run without supervision... it is so cool not to have to deal with GPU's heat electricity etc.. tell ya'...

I started staking 5 days ago, and have generated 19k DNET in mining rewards so far. I am on track to generate 114k DNET by the end of the month.

Is that not 250% annual returns at my current rate? It looks like my stake is also increasing (I started at 12 DNET per mint, now I am at 14 DNET per mint)?

Why am I making crazy minting return via staking?!?! I basically made $150 doing nothing .. and in 5 days.

Also I bought in at 500 SATs. Love this crypto already. I am holding for the big price pickup.

Wow, that sounds a lot more profitable than running MN's. With 100MN's, I get about 3,000 DNET a day and that requires 1,000,000 DNET collateral. With your 525,000 DNET you've averaged just under 4,000 DNET a day. Are you sure about those numbers?
