second that above, please check POS numbers again, you would not have over 1200 MN's if that would be so ,people are very very smart these days

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Ok; I have a staking question.
I have 525k'ish DarkNet.
I started staking 5 days ago, and have generated 19k DNET in mining rewards so far. I am on track to generate 114k DNET by the end of the month.
Is that not 250% annual returns at my current rate? It looks like my stake is also increasing (I started at 12 DNET per mint, now I am at 14 DNET per mint)?
Why am I making crazy minting return via staking?!?! I basically made $150 doing nothing .. and in 5 days.
Also I bought in at 500 SATs. Love this crypto already. I am holding for the big price pickup.
that would mean that you get 18% of all staking rewards every day with current numbers. Reward from last Block for Miners/Stakers: 14.40 DNET atm 14.4 x 1440 = 20736 / 3800 = 5.4 = ~18% = possible yes but only if there are only a few others staking. *shrug* who knows i run mn's check your last block hash on masternode payments information page to be sure not staking on your own fork edit: @q327K091 i guess you mean 120 not 1200

best way to check it (having a little bit of harmless fun here) is to send 1 BTC to bittrex wallet and having it not show up lol
yaa... this aint happening 4.2600 1.9950 228000.00000000 0.00000875

I can only assume I am staking on my own fork? I am checking now. What is the debug process to correct this? Thanks~ Is it possible to view network staking metrics?

staking question:
i have 75k+ of dnet in my darknet unlocked wallet and the wallet has been up for two days, yet it still says that "staking is not active. it is not setup as a masternode.
so how long does the wallet need to be up and running before it becomes actively staking my coins?
is there a console command that needs to be run to get the wallet to start staking?
please advise.
wallet version is: DarkNet Core version v2.1.3.0-71d4969 (32-bit) 8 active connections.

For some reason my wallet wasn't staking. I shut down the wallet, then reopened the wallet, waiting until the sync was complete, then waited another five minutes as the wallet built up network connections, then I unlocked with 'staking and anonymization'.Then it started working. When I unlocked before syncing was complete, I had issues. But it appears I have started staking on my own fork, so take my advice with a grain of salt. Also, restarting the wallet will restart the process. Considering you cannot get a stake with 70k over two days, I would assume it will not generate a stake with current configuration.

after 2 days you should stake
The two day waiting period to start staking only applies to Masternodes. Regular POS starts much quicker. Either immediately, or after 101 confirmations, not too sure. Definitely not after two days though.

If you are staking that much, you need to delete the 'blocks' and 'chainstate' folders from your working directory, then restart the wallet. Then run zap option 1 and then unlock for staking. Not sure how u would have these issues unless u started off with a bad chain copy.
Let us know

Staking is a matter of chance and statistics. You should keep this experiment going and see on average it takes the 50k to stake each time. It looks like right now the average staked coin is about 3.4k

Is it taking anyone else much longer than 48 hours to start getting rewards on newly created masternodes? I set up quite a few MN's nearly two and half days ago. Only one has received a reward so far.

I would think that's normal for first payment considering we have nearly 1400 masternodes now.

With 1400+ nodes, I would think it will take 3+ days to get first reward, maybe a bit longer
