Hey guys I am new to Darknet a few weeks ago I had the daknet wallet up ready to stake & suddenly it keeps crashing when it launches I'm running Zorin (a Linux distrib) can I setup a Rsberry Pi with windows and set up a node ? Thanks ?

Easiest way to install and stay up to date with your wallet add that PPA:


If you are running Debian/Ubuntu/Mint etc. You can install the binaries/Daemons using Apt as well;

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:shaun-mcbride/darknet
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install darknet-qt

1. Dev team are in the process of getting everything setup on Atlassian (Jira/Confluence) so everyone can see & participate.

2. We have switched to PoS Phase 5 seamlessly at block 432000 approx. 3 days ago. Block reward has dropped 16.66% from 35 to 30.

3. Devs are focused on fixing the known bugs first. Aiming for year's end to knock them out.

4. New full-time anon tech is planned for Q1 2017 release but is subject to change depending on development progress.

5. As mentioned before, DarkNet sub-Reddit is live. So feel free to be active there also!

thanks for the above, it is absolutely great you are doing this, quick update: injected additional 4 nodes fast (5th is pending) total nodes stands at 92

don't know if people realize this but master nodes is the *only* chance to compete with massive centralization of BTC (and others like ETH for instance) mining farms

key principle here is untouched , wide spread and propagation of "private network" of these nodes, self set a target of 100 but with correct execution even 5 and 10 one could compete against standard GPU/ASIC farm

above post on activity *behind the scenes* is great , tech improves, network gets propagated, everyone wins

quick update: injecting additional 4 master nodes , strength of this is unbelievable, hence acting immediate, something is up (attention from "deep" sources has to be strong) also ~ 7 BTC order is hanging strong. some 40K sell orders here or there but not in great amounts

BTC is waaaay too centralized , can't be good long term... speak soon, spinning off nodes (electricity requirement for mn and general attention once they are up and running are negligible)
