is the PIVX wallet safe to download and to use? anyone?

Just make sure you download from the official github repo then you'll be fine. (links on OP) Smiley

Hey All,

Been largely on slack but wanted to pop over here and say hi!

In case you haven't seen, there are a few sites (and supporting sites) for PIVX (and more being built as well)!

https://pivx.org/

http://pivx.wiki/
http://pivx.community/
http://pivxmasternode.org/

Thank you Jakiman.  Is this the one? PIVX-QT-windows32.64-wallet-v2.1.4.0 wip.  I have window 7 64bit.

Can I stake this coin within the PIVX's wallet like the Blackcoin's wallet POS.3 does?

I have already ask for help in the PIVx forum https://forum.pivx.org/  (thanks Jakiman for the answers) but as the problem seems a bit more complicated than I think I will try to get help here, with more users usually.
I have made an instalation of MN's in Vultr following DRDP scrypt(thanks for the scrypt, mate, and thanks also to marsmensch). And all seems to work very well till I try to start missing (or alias and one by one, I have tested both) I receive this kind of message always:
Alias: MNalias
Failed to start masternode.
Error:Invalid IP address,
masternode=MNcolateraloutputhere-colateralindexhere

Any line on my mn conf file look like this:
Alias [2001:19f0:6c01:358::1]:51472 Privkeyishere colateraloutputishere colaterailindexbitishere

Wallet is the las official release of PIVx, and MN's are some old MN's from darknet I have stopped and deactivated in the old servers and I'm trying to run in this. Has any of you suffered (and solved) this problem?

Thanks

I had this problem and I couldnt solve it.
For me I got this error, when the IP address was out of reach (I thought)
If you keep trying, it connects fine after some restarts of the wallet.

Also it connected fine, if you try it from the console, in my case.
Open the debug console and type
masternode start-missing

Hope this helps.
Nodes restarted typing masternode start-missing from the console. Lot of thanks, .cryptic..
I would still keep an eye on it and see if it goes missing after a while.
Good advice, I lost some MN's quite fast.I have noticed that at least in my case, if I launch them one by one letting pass a bit of time between launch they seem to start to work easier.
Thanks again.

Another good news. This time for scrypt miners!

Scrypt multi-pool https://prohashing.com is adding PIVX as a payout coin!
We expect them to add it within the next day or two. Spread the word. Smiley
So nwo miners can mine the most profitable scrypt coin and get paid PIVs!
Shit, I want that for my baikal... Sad

FYI - Tai Zen is a doing a series on privacy coins for investing. PIVX would be a good topic for him to discuss since it's early on. Has PIVX PR contacted him yet?

Yes. It can stake coins so you can make some more if kept online. Smiley

We now have over 260 members in our Slack. (auto-join via slack.pivx.org)
Many give out PIV tips also. (sometimes, just for logging in the first time!)

On another note, our forum is slowly gaining more users & activity which is nice to see.
So please do check it out as we want it to be our repo of info & discussions! forum.pivx.org

Hmm. No idea there. I don't see anyone in Slack complaining of that sort and there are quite a few running RPi's. (incuding devs)

Do you have port 51472 routed to the rpi running the wallet?
