Just wanted to ask if there's a problem with mining using your miner right now? I'm having difficulty, it seems that it is not connecting with your server, are doing some updates? thank for your reply..

I had the same from Germany yesterday. This morning everything works fine again
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

got a question.

is it upto nicehash to change the algo that the gpus are mining at? can the algo change by itself if other coin becomes more profitable to mine? basically i need to know whether to just leave the clocks at stock or have it clocked optimally for x11? at the moment its choosing to go with x11.

Our advise would be to moderately overclock your gpu in such a way that any algorithm can be run on the gpus since NiceHash Miner will choose whichever algorithm is the most profitable.

hi
ethereum mining not working on nvidia cards.

This would be better asked in the nicehash pool thread. I noticed there's no order book for
etherum so I don't know how it would work.

FYI, I can't get this to run on a Fury X card -- it never successfully benchmarks or anything. NiceHash miner reports the following if I just click "start" on Windows 10:

Quote
[22:00:33] * using Jansson 2.7
[22:00:33] Probing for an alive pool
[22:00:34] x11.eu.nicehash.com difficulty changed to 0.040
[22:00:34] Startup GPU initialization... Using settings from pool x11.eu.nicehash.com.
[22:00:34] Startup Pool No = 0
[22:00:35] Building binary darkcoin-modFijigw64l4ku0.bin
[22:00:35] Error -11: Building Program (clBuildProgram)
[22:00:35] C:\Users\Jarred\AppData\Local\Temp\\OCL7228T5.cl:90:10: fatal error: 'blake.cl' file not found
#include "blake.cl"
         ^

error: Clang front-end compilation failed!
Frontend phase failed compilation.
Error: Compiling CL to IR

[22:00:35] Failed to init GPU thread 0, disabling device 0
[22:00:35] Restarting the GPU from the menu will not fix this.
[22:00:35] Re-check your configuration and try restarting.
Press enter to continue:

It worked fine on an Nvidia card, so I'm not sure if it's just the beta Crimson 13.3 driver, or something else, but honestly I don't have enough time to mess with it right now. Going to try a 390 and see if it's any better....

After i run the miner for the first time, ccminer_sp.exe keep disapear from bin folder, and this cause an error everytime i start again the program.
I downloaded the miner 4 times  and everytime i see there is ccminer_sp inside before i run.
Then when i click to ignore the error, i can't find my gpu, only cpu is visible ( nvidia gtx980 with updated drivers)

Tnx, now is working. Wink
But is strange, because malwarebytes never give me this problem.

i know it from personal experience first hand ^^

they miners get detected since they are put in some software (like a well known torrent client) to mine in the background

however some AV delete it some quarantine and some detect it as PUP it really depends on the AV

I personally like this because it's way much more than claiming on a faucets or investing on cloud mining or hyips. But question, is there a settings/configuration for the proxy? I mean I want to use NiceHash Miner in my office but, our internet connection is restricted.

question, on your site it says that X11 is paying more then ethereum.. yet mine still chugs along mining ethereum.. do you have to enable the profit switching manually?
im actually confused by this, so any info would be helpful. i did run a full benchmark.. so maybe its factoring in my speed vs payout?

Each time you start mining you can check the log file in the nicehash folder which will show you the btc/day for each algo based on current price vs. your benchmark speeds at that current time.
