2 things about nicehash: when I look at "whattomine" it says Nicehash equihash is most profitable of the nicehash's but I'm running nicehash and it's mining daggersia.  Why isn't it on equihash?

second, does the fact that the mining switches back and forth affect profitability?  should I just stay on one or 2 coins?

How much virtual memory do you have allocated and are you out of hard drive space to allocate more? Also what GPUs are you mining with?

2 things about nicehash: when I look at "whattomine" it says Nicehash equihash is most profitable of the nicehash's but I'm running nicehash and it's mining daggersia.  Why isn't it on equihash?

What GPUs are you mining with? If you wish to only mine a certain algorithm and no others you need to disable the other ones in Settings/Advanced/Algorithms. Typically you will get the best profits over time by letting Nicehash switch on it's own... provided you have run the benchmarks at your current GPU settings of course.

Yes that is using Nicehash's mining software.

I had the same error message as you when rig autostart after reboot, i fixed it by unchecking some options in settings panel, will update my post when i get home.
Still have an issue after reboot if nicehash can't find internet connection after reboot a message saying internet is required pop up and stand there forever, i want it to try reconnect until there's connection instead of that Yes/No message, help?

Hello,
I'm having issues with Nicehash Miner 1.7.5.13 and also with 2.0.0.7 and 2.0.0.8. Same problem with every miner: after changing one or two algorythm, it freezes, crashes (restart) or even BSOD with Driver_IRQL_OR_LESS.
If I'm mining with only one algo selected on every gpu and not trying to switch, it works just fine. Alpha version crashes sometimes, with .13 version works like charm. Eh, when I enable more algos and try to switch (I should mention I've tried with profitability at 0.07 and 0.1, which means it switch at 10% difference) it crashes as said above.

I've read on other places, reddit, nicehash issues on github that other people are having these issues. I've tried with two different drivers, not being latest. Right now I'm using 378 if I remember correctly.

Please advise.

John

this just might be your antivirus or firewall allowing one of the algos but not the next. you have given permissions to all of the nh folder? (god i hate saying that - don't keep your wallets on same machine!)
if not that, try 1. blah.12
if not that come back here with your operating system and gpu details...

Hi again, other question. If i put Nicehash software with:

RX 470 Gigabyte 4 GB
DDR2 motherboard with 4 GB (4x1)
Windows 7 x64 Ultimate
core 2 duo cpu
Western digital 320 GB Sata
all days every 30 days, in theory i must mine aprox. 103 dollars?

That is based upon the last 30 days profitability. A month ago profits were very very high, higher then they have ever been for that GPU in fact. Based on today's profit ratios you would probably get 2/3 or less of that figure for 30 days. Also keep in mind that 30 days from now the profit may very well be lower.

Right now I do not have installed any antivirus, because I just reinstalled OS. Previous days I was using Eset Nod32 which worked very good, no problems with ATI cards on the other rig. Only on the rig with nvidia cards, when switching algos, especially (I suppose) excavator or ethminer.
I do not keep my wallet on the rigs Smiley
I did not understood what you were saying about  "if not that, try 1. blah.12"
OS: Win10 creators update with latest updates
GPU: 3x Asus GTX 1060 Dual and 3x Gigabyte GTX 1060 Windforce, all six with 6GB. A bit of overclock is done, +128 core and +196 memory. 100% power limit.

ok sorry i was unclear: the older version of nicehash miner 1.7.5.12 is a bit more stable, but that may not be relevant in your case now

you need to ask your questions again - with all that info - in this thread, where the experts on those kind of rigs may be able to help:

My rig reboots from time to time due to power outrage, if pc boot up and internet not available for few minutes i get the error message saying Yes and No. How to disable the error message and instead try reconnecting without notifications ?

Crap, profit for miners goes lower and lower.  I guess nothing left to do but hope price goes back up.

We are seeing a large dip in the markets.  People are worried about the forks and things coming in August to bitcoin.  Not to mention the jobs report in the US has made other investments look more attractive.  We should see it come back, but we might see a slump for the summer.

Am I the only one having issues with the Nicehash miner?
It used to work just fine on my laptop when I tested it. The miner cannot even benchmark, the drivers will crash after the first algorithm benchmarked and set to idle.
Specs:
Motherboard: Gigabyte F2A88XM-D3HP (New)
CPU: Amd Athlon x4 860k
GPU: 2x r7 260x OC 2Gb GDDR5 (One is Sapphire the other MSI)
PSU: Corsair VS 650w (New)

It runs fine in the Furmark benchmark achieving very good results (FPS and Temperature), it also runs fine using the Marlin miner for Siacoin.
I've tried using each card separately, using the latest Amd drivers, using older Amd drivers, the issue still occurs while everything else works perfectly fine.
Anyone who also had the same issue?

I'm having problems with the version 2.0.0.8 of your miner.
It keeps changing the speed of the fans on my AMD cards.
I set the fan speed to 70% on MSI afterburner, but as soon as I lauch the NiceHash miner, the speed changes.

I'm not the only one having the problem :
https://www.reddit.com/r/NiceHash/comments/6m03s8/2008_causing_fan_speeds_to_change_from_what_ive/
https://www.reddit.com/r/NiceHash/comments/6lyk3p/nicehash_miner_changing_fan_speeds/

Edit :
I see on twitter, that it's a feature from Excavator (https://twitter.com/NiceHashMining/status/883412525638979586).
Would it be possible to have an option to disable that "feature" and let users control the fan speed ?

I managed to get Nicehash to (Almost) work, it cannot benchmark sgminer x11Ghost nor Cryptonight (GPU).
It is running fine using Equihash, making $1~ (A whole one dollar) using these 2 GPUs. Pretty disappointing to be honest.

Seen this a few times today... Is this an error? Only happens for a few seconds, then it goes back to 2,5 - 3 euros.

It's likely right.  It all depends on how much the buyers are willing to pay for an algorithm.  You get what the buyers are paying.
