Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the
subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The
subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

pricing but overvalued now. Take some profit now cause if not you'll be bagholding. Just friendly advice.
This is what people were saying when Bitcoin was at $10 ... "nice price now, but overvalued, better sell now" Then when bitcoin was $100 ... "ok now it's REALLY overpriced, sell ASAP $100 is not normal, it will burst anytime" The point is not that I'm saying price will keep rising, it's just that "it is overpriced" is not a good argument Overpriced compared to what? The price is a reflection of people's expectations and speculation, that's all 1 - This is not bitcoin. 2 - Unproven 3 - It's overpriced because it's not people buying for the most part, it's whales/bots messing around and making it fly...if it isn't natural, then it's overpriced because it's been "forced" into that valuation...simple. You tell me, will you pay 650k for this or 250k when you know the value SHOULD be 250k (or maybe even less!). You best hope it goes to 1mil sats to make some half-decent profit return, if not you lose. Many we're in since cheaper...remember that. 4 - Regardless such is the game of crypto and alts, crazy. All your points are moot and invalid but I don't see the point in unpacking them, any intelligent person can do it for themselves. Let's agree to disagree. I don't want to litter the thread with useless discussions that have been regurgitated over and over on Bitcointalk in every altcoin thread. Your idea that there's a "natural" or "real" price is unfounded, a mere presupposition, and has no grounding in economic theory. There is no "real price" - there is no "inherent price" - it's simply a result of the ratio between demand and supply. Fancy. So easy to state when the "demand" isn't bloody real! lol! Whatever, I myself have been in the coin since 225k so I'm not complaining, but you can be sure you're buying some of my coins at these prices since 500k+. Whatever. May as well hold some since it's being manipulated (key word here) and going up...see how she goes. You tell me, will you pay 650k for this or 250k when you know the value SHOULD be 250k (or maybe even less!) sold quite a stash eh...trying to buy back? but you can be sure you're buying some of my coins at these prices since 500k+ there are a 100 BTC orders above 500K.....your sells must have been wiped out durrr herp derp.

GUI wallet is looking good, excited for it. The command line one is a massive headache, and I know I'm one of many people to complain about it.

Is it usual Polo takes this long to add a coin? Also the buy wall keeps moving Polo may never add this coin. They may not like it for whatever reason. Unless someone has some insider info, I'm just going to assume Polo won't be listing. If they do, I'll be delightfully surprised.

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks

soooooooooo overpriced and how do you come to that reasoning.... whats your basis for that claim? please do share it with us...... He's talking about Ethereum @ $6 a piece with more than 77 million available supply is truly overpriced. Compared to Decred which we think is currently undervalued.

Decred has actually a reasonable value for a technically interesting coin with active developers and a new POS/POW security concept. It is comparable with coins like Monero or NEM that try something different.
I predict it will go higher and lower, but not by orders of magnitude. It will swing between 0.002 and 0.01 BTC for a while. In the long run, it can be perfectly a top ten coin if the concept proves to have advantages with respect to the NXT or Peercoin approach.

kekekke... where's 100btc order go? :/ omg i hope it's another bithire. stop killing people peace The person that is giving more information about itself is the looser in a greedy game. This, the person with the wall is the looser. And people, that show any appreciation about it. He does only kill more greedy people than itself.

Informed decisions with what we've got.... April 07, 2013, 12:05:12 AM that date alone derives tremendous value. This project had an almost three year gestation period. (for your viewing pleasure https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=169204.0) read the ANN read it again. Look at the people behind it. Look at how it has been managed so far. Look at the github, follow links.. etc If we base the list at coinmarketcap on merit.... well, let's just say I bought more btc with fiat which I had not done in a long time....................... Of course that's just me

Technically Bitcoin is a fork and Bitcoin Cash is the original blockchain. When the hard fork occurred, people had access to the same amount of coins on Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.- NIST
