yes, last few weeks were discussing on bittrex slack about HOdl jet did not receive clear yes or no. If you guys want to trade HOdl on bittrex then please join their slack chat and ask @bittrex-bill & @bittrex-richie directly for addition. Community can move mountains if you choose so.

Im new here, and I found Hodl on Yobit troll box being discussed. I like the idea of depositing having its interest being lock like time deposit Try to start the CPU Mining now, so far its  running smooth.

how to set minermemory ? i try command -minermemory=2 -genproclimit=4 on debug windows not work " methode not found ( code -32601 ) " 

It's command line argument. For example you can run it like this:
>HOdlcoin-qt.exe  -gen=1 -minermemory=5 -genproclimit=19

This sets mining on using 5 GB memory with 19 CPU threads.

yes, you get shares not the full block payout, if you were to mine in solo you would earn the whole reward, 50hodl

I vote we rename this coin to Zoltan coin after the miner with the equivalent hash of 100 high end computers or about $70,000 US

Seriously though I really do not understand why one person would want to take that much risk and waste that many resources to monopolize a coin.

I guess he/she did not get the memo about decentralization and fair distribution being better for a coin in the long run.

It's especially ridiculous because this Zoltan character is mining in a pool, paying the 2% fee, and likely getting drastically fewer HOdl than if he/she would solo mine.

No matter what kind of fees he paid, the fact remains, so much power for 1 person - not very nice

I am fine with it ( kinda) I know his going to dump straight into my buy order

He could have half the power and still get the same amount of coin , ( not a lot of difference from 90% of the hash rate and 80%)

either has

1. GPU miner ( is it possible to get wolf GPU miner to work ?)
2. Bot net
3. noob paying shit load money of AWS or digital drop - would be cheaper just to buy the coin

I think it'd be 2, it has been mentioned a bit before that a GPU miner wouldn't give you much of an advantage over the CPU miner; so he'd have to have a lot of GPU's.

I'm getting an error while trying to run the standalone miner " Segmentation fault (core dumped)" any ideas on how to fix this?
EDIT: fixed by having more than 1GB ram total

Everyone that is currently mining at hodl.blockquarry.com please point some or all of your hashes to either solo mining or another pool, the blockquarry pool currently has more than 51% of the nethash which means they can perform the 51% attack https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Weaknesses#Attacker_has_a_lot_of_computing_power
