Looking great Smiley Can't wait to use the VPN. Its really nice to see a dev actually putting in work on a coin Cheesy kinda a rare thing in the past 1-2 years.

I'm doing what I promised.

Here is the paper wallet: http://warpcoin.com/paper/

Looks good. Just a suggestion though: I think some sources for this page should be available so people can generate addresses locally, just like bitaddress.org links to the github repo so people can download.

You can grab page source and do it offline, but I'll add it to github too.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

VPN implementation is now working on Linux.
You can contact me on slack if you want to test it (linux only) to find bugs.

Windows and Mac will follow.

Looking better by the minute...
This could get huge once the new wallet is out.

A new wallet will come out (only binaries) for Win, Mac and Linux, with VPN function enabled - for free.
As soon as all bugs are fixed. It should take a few days. That will be v1.1.

What if people continue to use v1.1? are you planning to control allowed version(s) through code?

Not sure what you mean.

People can use current version or the upcoming one. That doesn't make a big difference.

I mean since v1.1 will not require any WARP balance to use VPN service, and if your planning to add this requirement in future releases, people will simply stick to v1.1 to avoid WARP balance requirement.

That's a good point. I'll carefully look upon future releases to make sure that kind of situation doesn't happen.

I would recommend not going for 'free' version in the first place. Version controls can be bypassed if a user has some coding know-how.

The source will be closed for now. Give me a few days, we can then set up more clear guidelines. For now priority is to make it work on all platforms.

Sure man, take your time.

One more thing, even if source is not public there are ways to bypass version controls (with just binaries). It all depends on how it is implemented.

very good news.

it's very irrelevant atm, but will you add a nice icon for vpn?
maybe something like this, taken from the logo of Open VPN.
http://img12.deviantart.net/63a9/i/2013/010/6/5/openvpn_icon_by_archeinre-d5r1nls.png
reminds of a lock and a tunnel at the same time.
