Oh you guys, I think everyone is at a boiling point because of the delays made by our competitors.

We shipped, website will be updated shortly.

First unit goes to Jeff Garzik in honor for the work he has done for the bitcoin codebase being the only developer who ordered from us.

we also arranged to ship a unit to the Bitcoin Foundation, whom is going to do a demo.

The avalon team on the other hand is going to make sure the whole shipping process go smoothly. like handling DHL/EMS problem, and other custom issues.

cheers.

if it is true --> congrats!

By the way, serious question and all joking aside, does the Avalon Team need more time to fine tune things? Do you think you got a quality product out (no regrets or anything)?

That's the secret that shall be revealed soon, which is also our trump card.

If you guys are good at making ASICS, you are incredible at killing me with anticipation.

more or less retired.

Wait, no pictures or a demo video even? I wanna see dammit!
Unlike the BFL contests where you make up a promo for a product that doesn't exist (yet), Avalon is probably inviting you to do your best at video and picture editing.

There should probably be a prize for who can do the best "I am mining Bitcoins!" video.

I would just love to see your faces as the <insert carrier here> offloads it from the truck and when you unpack it and then turn it on.

Would be a cool way to diss BFL. LOL....

I want pics!!!!!!!!

My anger against what is wrong in the Bitcoin community is productive:
Bitcointa.lk - Replace "Bitcointalk.org" with "Bitcointa.lk" in this url to see how this page looks like on a proper forum (Announcement Thread)
Hashfast.org - Wiki for screwed customers

BitSyncom clearly states that there will be a unit shipped to Jeff Garzik and a unit shipped to Bitcoin Foundation. That's two units sent.

Is this a math fail, Tinua, or did you just not read the post?

So you want the names and addresses of all purchasers posted here? I don't think that would be such a good idea.

Congratulations to the Avalon team.  In spite of the competitive banter, we've always had respect for the capability of NGzhang & co.  kudos for your achievement.

300 units ordered and paid!
- 1 for Jeff = 299 units left for shipping

The unit for Bittcoin Foundation is a free unit!
Thats my math.

The cynicism returns!
Sorry, that was not my intention.
But I see not more facts then before the counter go to zero.
No pictures, no shipping number, no video, no email ........ just words.
And that is what worries me as a paying customer!

I think it still might drop. I doubt the first unit's will arrive before ~ 288 blocks until retarget, so the average hashrate for the last 288 blocks would have to rise to more than 33227 Ghps. Do you think 10000 Ghps will be received in the few days?
