https://twitter.com/jgarzikMy wife informs me that a package from China arrived. Will investigate when I return home. #Bitcoin Moment of true I knew all along Team Avalon consisted of men of their word, hence staying out of the conversation.

I'm betting the package contains nothing but a note written on an avalon complement slip saying "We stole it cuz we fort it was milly-tory hardware - signed US Government".

I've had 2 from them (Icarus, DevKit), 1 from Hong Kong (a BFL) and 1 from USA (an MMQ) - all EMS, all 4 tracked fine. What has BFL (KC, Missouri, USA) sent you from Hong Kong? Or is it a test of reader's accuracy? Why would you assume he was sent a BFL product from the manufacturer? Couldn't he have purchased it second hand? Yes indeed ... some don't remember the shipping of the BFL FPGA singles? I think I got one of the fastest ones in history ... and that exaggeration could even be true 4.5 days from partial payment to arriving at my door. It was 'almost' brand new - someone received a shipment of about 10?, by accident (they had cancelled) and sold me one - and let me pay the balance off over about a month (I didn't have enough BTC to buy it up front) ... and no I would never have sent BFL a 2,3,4 month loan - that's why I bought it when I did (May) and not before.

If this is true, can anyone fathom why no tracking number was not given out?
It's a letter with the tracking number in it ... Seriously though, why would he get it without already having the tracking number? Bazaar indeed.

The same men of their word said they wouldn't start a presale on a second batch until an Asic review. They might get it on time, but more through luck then their word. That all being said I hope this is all legit and they delivered as promised and this thing works out great. I don't think I would do business with this company because of their customer service, but I wouldn't begrudge anyone that does.
