I still do not understand why a ripple would rise in price or why this would be worth anywhere more than Bitcoin.

This is the sickest pump in coin history for sure.

for those who believes 2 months ago and still watching and holding their share i must say that they are in a huge profits
millionaires has been created with the help of this coin for sure, i still optimistic that the price will still rise up and more
things to come with this project.

i'm one lucky bastard who bought when its price was just $0.02  i bought again when it soar on $0.08 after seeing some news from banks. there are lots of those users who did bought at such price. i invested to some cheap coins like xspec when it was just $0.02 as well. but dumped when it hit $0.05 in order to buy xrp.

Noone will tell you, but if you read this thread there was people concerned @ 2500 sat that they bought at @ 3200-4000, than @ 6000 they sold, and regret @8000, some was predicting an apocalypsys @12000 saying it will DROOOOP HARD! 24 hours later good guys from this thread still fight trolls @ 18500!

imo,  there is more+ developments for XRP over next 3,6,12 months , than -

XRP will not be this cheap forever and once it breaks 50cents...it might dip under once or twice, then boooom, never under 50cents ever again...and on and on.

lot of incoming demand with traditional market money moving in. the size of altcoin is a tiny percent of traditional markets. Stocks , bonds and everything are broken, and investors have no where to go. this is the new innovation ground and Ripple/Ethereum are top honchos of altcoin with super strong use-case and fundamentals..

given all these details, i think the surprise may be yours. those invested might have a long way to go on the uptrend.

I would not be surprised to see XRP over $100bill this yr...and going towards $500bill (around 2018-2020)
