Alonso to Aston Martin, what do you think about it?. I'm happy that we will see probably last remaining old school driver in F1 for at least 2 seasons. Move to Aston Martin looks like step back, Alpine seems to have better perspective. But such decision is understandable, Alpine offered him just one year contract.

Can't understand this move by Alonso at all, Renault (Alpine) has established itself as the fourth force in F1 and is taking a huge step backwards with the move to Aston Martin, is Stroll paying so well that Alonso wants to make another big splash? I'm curious but this change could make him regret the last years in Formula 1 and frustrate him, Alonso didn't exactly have a good hand with his 7 changes.

I think Alonso will get paid really well considering his age now.Of course he is one of the best drivers available,give him a well performing car and I am sure he can win races for example with Mercedes of this year,I am sure he would have won Hungary if he started first with Mercedes at the actual level.

The other reason I believe he choose Aston Martin is because the car can't be worse than this year for the next one,this year they missed completely as they tried to find a loophole in order to be the Brawn of 2009 but failed completely,for next year car I believe they will do much better and most probably this is the reason Alonso joined,he knows that Alpine cannot do much better than this so why not try something new for next year.

I believe that it’s an open secret that his decision was finalised due to two reasons 1) good money and 2) and a bigger contract, and at his age I don’t think that he would have got such a good deal elsewhere hence not a bad idea. Furthermore I believe that his experience will help Aston Martin, and we should give him time before ruling that his move is a big mistake.

Really strange situation. Alpine announces about Piastri contract, then after few hours Piastri denies it that it was not right information. Seems that someone from Ferrari is responsible for Alpine PR .Seems that Piastri already reached agreement with Mclaren and Ricciardo probably will return to Alpine.

According to the news that I read in several media, one of which was the otomotif media, it said that the Losail circuit would not be the opening for MotoGP 2023 because renovations were being carried out on the paddock area and other supporting facilities. So the MotoGP opening for 2023 has been shifted to the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve which is in Portugal.

I was a little surprised when I read Oscar Piastri's comments written on his twitter and it seems that Alpine F1 is a little afraid that Oscar Piastri will be signed by another team, so Oscar Piastri immediately responded via his twitter. I think this is really surprising because he has absolutely no idea which team he will race for next season.

Piastri has been doing well in F2 where he was also a couple of times invited from F1 teams to take part only in a FP1 on Fridays.It is a great choice as he is a young promising driver but I don't know how well Alpine will perform next year,this year they have been doing well most of the races as they have been in most races into points territory.

As his first year in F1 it is great to not race for some team like Williams which no matter how talented of a driver you are,you are not going to shine there at all,so in this contest Piastri will not be driving for the weakest team of the paddock and that is good news.

Piastri isn't still official for Alpine by the way. Interestingly the team announced him like that without even asking him. He doesn't plan to sign for Alpine yet and in fact there are even some rumours that he can sign for McLaren next season. At the same time Ricciardo is expected to join Alpine. These things are not official of course so we will see. Apart from that Alonso's being announced with Aston Martin next season was really shocking to me. I guess even his current team learned about that after this announcement.

Since those are the results of the best team, something can still change there. But Verstappen was phenomenal last race. Started as 10th, and then also spun halfway through and after the spin he was just back on the gas within 2 seconds to continue driving. I know few drivers who have as much control over a car as Verstappen. Many would have crashed as a result and end of the race.

Max Verstappen had a fabulous race and really showed why he is the favorite to lift the cup, after winning his twenty-eighth race.... he is currently in seventh position in this ranking.

About starting in tenth, I've been looking at RedBull's history here, and the only driver who has managed to do that to date in this team was Daniel Ricciardo at the Azerbaijan GP in 2017.

Anyway... we watched another mind-blowing F1 GP, which every day gets better and more exciting.

Jorge Lorenzo is still the record holder champion in a row Silverstone circuit 2011,2012 and 2013, and so far not yet a racer who can break his domination. the last racer is Quartararo in 2021, but for this year, can he try to win in a row? because bad weather is always an obstacle in the Silverstone circuit, Quartararo always has a problem with a rainy and wet track, so when this happens, I believe we can get a new winner, and he can't still break Jorge Lorenzo's domination.

It's not Binotto imho.  He's the brilliant guy in the team who made them a good, competitive car that can win races.  He was a chief technical officer before he was the team pricipal after all.  And I think he was part of the engineering team of Schumacher's days at Ferrari...  Not sure.

The guy who should be given the sack is their head of race strategy, whoever he is.  He's been making lots of bad calls for their team.  Maybe he's really working for Red Bull.  Lol.

Inaki Rueda - Red Bull fans should know names of their heroe's. He is responsible for all that bad calls Ferrari made. But Binotto is responsible too - he is team principal after all and he is responsible for everything what happens in his team.

That's the guy!  Yeah sure Binotto should be responsible but if somebody is to be given the sack, it's Inaki Rueda.  He's been making too many bad calls.  Think about it, if Leclerc had Hamilton's experience he'd be all over their pit wall and calling them out for their strategic blunders.  He could even change the strategy on the fly during the race and decide whether it's good to pit or not to pit and which call for which tires to slap on the car.

As teams yes,the only ones who are not making big mistakes are Mercedes and Redbull,however Ferrari has the most performing car as we have seen in these last 2 races despite failing to win them one from a driver error and one from a team error.I think Ferrari does not need to find who is to blame but to rather come together and decide to let Leclerc made the decisions when to pit stop,this is what they should be doing for the second part of the Championship and this is the only way to minimize risks from the strategy.I remember the old good days at McLaren where drivers dictated when it was good to pit and even the team were asking drivers,what do you think about the stops,I think Ferrari needs to do just that for the remaining part of the season.

^  Again, I said from a betting perspective.  And in case you missed the point, read this...  Leclerc has been lined the favorite to win in some tracks and if he's the slight underdog, it's very close to Verstappen.  If you bet on Leclerc every GP because 'he has a fast car', I'm pretty sure you've lost most of the time because the team sucks.  

Now I'm guessing Mercedes might have figured something out and we'll see improved performance from their car.  It could end up Merc snatching the second spot in the constructor's championship if Ferrari isn't careful.

Yes, much fiercer but not popular as MotoGP. I don't see Also WBSK results on top google which means they need hard work to promote. About the race on Ceko, I just saw it at a glance on my local tv, maybe because I don't know much about the racer, so I ignore it. I just hear Toprak from you, and I a bit know about Alvaro Bautista where was on MotoGP with the Ducati team in 2018. In WBSK Bautista is a bit have achievement than Motogp, but still didn't yet a champion between 2019-2021. so, will he get in 2022?

For this year, Alvaro Bautista has the potential to win the WSBK world champion because considering the number of points he has increased and he is still the leader of the temporary standings until now. But two other riders such as Jonathan Rea from Kawasaki who used to be world champion in WSBK and Toprak from Yamaha who as defending champion continued to put pressure on Alvaro Bautista in every race. So that Alvaro Bautista still needs to be consistent in each of the remaining races, if I'm not mistaken, the rest of the races in WSBK are 6 more times if Indonesia and Australia held it this year.

I told this a long time ago, instead of trying to find a way to beat Red Bull, they should try to find a way to not beat themselves because they keep doing that. For make it clear, Max started 10th, then he worked his way to ahead of Charles, then he had a spin, lost his place, and then he went ahead of Charles all over again.

I am sorry but that basically tells me that it is not really a good team to be in at all. Maybe people would argue against that, but it's the truth. Ferrari should fire everyone at the end of this year, like literally everyone from Binotto to guy who carries stuff, and they should hire them all from other teams or other leagues and find a good team.
