Pole position for Sainz but RBR is so much faster.

During the interview on Italian television, Lecler said something like

"We don't know how RBR is so fast here this weekend we didn't expect to be 7-8 tens behind them"

But tomorrow will be hotter, and everything can change with the change of the temeperature.

Verstappen certainly has the speed to finish in the top 5 today, and with a bit of luck even on the podium. Am also very surprised that Ferrari does not come to the speed of Red Bull, and not even close 🤔🤔.

This looks very bad for the world championship at Ferrari.

We still see new grid penalties. This time Tsunoda is going to start from the pit lane as there has been a change in his power unit under Parc Ferme conditions.

This helped the other drivers who got grid penalties gain one position on the grid. This is good for Verstappen as he is already way faster than all of the drivers now. If he gets lucky in the race also then he might even fight for the win. He made it to the win in the Hungarian GP even though he started in 10th place.

But I still believe in Sainz to win this race. Ferrari are scaring me after making another mistake in Q3 about Leclerc's tyres. But hopefully the race won't be like that.

The GOAT did the best thing he does and caused Bottas to be out of the race. 

The touch between Hamilton and Alonso just cost Hamilton the race. Alonso blamed him for pushing his luck too much by trying to overtake him from outside. It must be a big disappointment for Hamilton after having a poor qualifying session also.

Verstappen is really unstoppable now. He is climbing the positions like nothing and it looks like he is going to win the race under normal conditions. It is too difficult for Sainz to keep him behind while Verstappen is much faster than even him. It is only the 10th lap and Verstappen is nearly in the 2nd position already.

Verstappen went up very fast and took the lead from the 12th lap already. When Sainz went to pit stop, the track was left to the RBR. Leclerc also lost his gained positions by going to early pit stop. Ferrari is behind again. They still have a chance to do podium though, if they pass Russell or RBR make a mistake.
Bottas was out of the race because of Latifi. Hamilton was out, was it all of his fault? Alonso's words were pretty harsh and factually wrong though.

Verstappen's incredible start killed all my hopes about Sainz to win the race. Verstappen is very comfortable in the lead and Sainz is way behind like 20 seconds. Red Bull are incredibly fast this weekend compared to Ferrari. Maybe Leclerc would have fought better than Sainz if he didn't have a problem in the first laps of the race. He had to pit then and he is still not fast enough to catch up with even Russell who is right in front of him.

Verstappen is just enjoying his time on the road going to the championship now.

Basically it was already almost certain that Verstappen will win the championship (also due to Ferrari's own mistakes), but now after this race it will be almost impossible for Leclerc and Ferrari to turn the tide in their favor. This weekend there was no way RedBull could be beaten, perfect race from the whole team and strong performance.

It is obvious that we are seeing Verstappen dominating the grid very easily. But when you start at 14-15th places and then end up with the first, thats way too much, thats just too good. I always wanted to have a league where people who are better are still better just like now, but the difference between the cars is not at a level where you don't go from 15th to 1st at least. In the long run, Verstappen made sure that they are winning and will end up champions for sure. Charles ended 6th. We shouldn't really be waiting anything from this season, its already over, Red Bull win, probably Perez second and Max first, easy.

I had a bit of laugh when I saw that no one picked him up or perhaps he chose to walk for a while in order to refresh his mind a bit. Regarding the incident that took Hamilton out , I think both drivers have their own fault in that duel and it ended up like it did when both drivers want to close that corner when they both know there is no place for two cars.

Ferrari had no chances today, and RBR with the new regulation imposed by FIA had no chances today.

Let's see if next GP they can fight or if FIA killed this championship.

Hamilton was really ambitious to achieve something this weekend but he had another disappointment. First the car was so slow to have a proper lap time in qualifying. He was really displeased with this situation and this wasn't going to be the only bad thing happening to him. While we were only at the beginning of the race his race ended already. Maybe Alonso was right about him because Hamilton didn't have much space to leave Alonso behind at that turn. He was the victim of his excessive attempt there. At least Russell had a good race but it was still a bad weekend for Mercedes at the end of the day.

Congrats to Verstappen on this very deserved win. It is so sad to see Ferrari getting this much weaker than Red Bull lately. Sainz couldn't do anything against Verstappen's high speed today. Leclerc was even struggling to compete with Russell.

Sainz said in the post race interview that the upcoming track should suit Ferrari and then in Monza it is clear that Rebdull will be the favorite,things clearly do not look good for Ferrari as for the Championship it is already killed even if Verstappen loses and crashes in 4 races he will still be ahead of Leclerc considering Leclerc cannot win them all most likely.I am waiting for the next GP but even if the next one as a track suits Ferrari it will be in Verstappen home and the track will be full of orange army fans there so a lot of unpredictable things to see but this season is already over as we already for me have a world Champion which is Verstappen.

But RBR today got no new pieces and got a big advantage, the only thing that changed was rule 39 increasing all the cars high until the end of the season.

Until today the competition was close between Ferrari and RBR, if the following cars RBR will still be 1 second ahead for a lap they need to thank the FIA for the new rule.

With Red Bull pace, P3 for Sainz is best what he was able to achieve. Ferrari didn't failed in strategy today, but things can't go well for them - Leclerc got penalty for speeding in pit lane on last pit stop and lost P5 that he got in last lap after overtaking Alonso. Poor Bottas, his race ended after accident with GOATifi and he had no chance to avoid it.
And Alonso radio message about Hamilton was epic - ''This guy only knows to drive starting first'' .

It's true that Hamilton have proven many times that he can't start not just from front of grid. But Alonso phrase is emotions of angry racer what gives some spice for race. I prefer such emotions, rather than boring politcirrect stuff.

There are only 7 riders left who have not made an announcement about their contracts for next year (2023). Because Enea Bastianini, who has officially joined the Ducati factory, accompanied Pecco Bagnaia, Jorge Martin had to stay in his original place (Pramac Racing) with Johan Zarco. And Jack Miller who is currently still at the factory Ducati will accompany Brad Binder at the factory KTM next year which makes Miguel Oliveira have to be removed from the KTM Factory seat for next season.

What Max Verstappen did today was magnificently, leaving just three dated for the first in 20 laps is too few.
I don't remember seeing something like this happen "that often".
RedBull has a fantastic car, we cannot deny that this helped Max a lot to achieve this result, but this would not have been possible without the talent of Verstappen, a perfect combination.

There is no doubt that Verstappen will be champion in 2022.
