According to some papers next week will be the week of Adrian Newey.

Accordon to the rumors he will announce what he will do next year and the same rumors spoken about a big offer from Mercedes including shares of the company.

It should be Ferrari, Mercedes or Mclearen.

These days are quite active when it comes to Adrian Newey's future.  Smiley  They actually say Williams has been the most seriously interested team in him. But now I don't even hear about their name. Probably it was some kind of a rumour or they gave up after thinking over how much he might cost to the team.  Tongue  But for the awakening of Williams wouldn't it be nice to see him there?

It looks like Mercedes is trying to intervene with an interesting offer - like team shares. Especially for 2026 changes, they are doing their best to be the team at the top seemingly. McLaren? I haven't heard about their interest, hmm...  Roll Eyes

Even though Francesco Bagnaia had to start in fifth position because of the penalty he received but Bagnaia got off to a good start and he flashed forwards. He was able to maintain that first position until the final lap. Meanwhile, Jorge Martin, who got the start in first position, had to settle for second place when the race started. In that race, Jorge Martin seemed ready to challenge Bagnaia and he did that until the last 2 laps but for an unknown reason (I guess the cause is a tire wear problem), Jorge Martin seemed to be starting to slow down and he could even be overtaken by Enea Bastianini.
Tire wear is often a major factor for any rider after racing for more than 20 laps and this is really felt by all riders including Jorge Martin and Marquez. However, Bastianini was lucky on the final lap of the race at the last corner because Jorge Martin went slightly wide, opening a gap for Bastianini to enter and take second place. And this has also resulted in the Ducati factory getting a double podium in this race, accompanied by back to back wins from Bagnaia.

Today's race was a bit boriing race for me, not many overtaking between riders especially in the leading group.
Pecco was untouchable since the 1st lap, Martin was unable to give a significant pressure to Pecco and unluckily Martin had to finish on 3rd after Enea overtook his position in the last sector of the last lap.
Enea did a great job today, although he dropped to 4th after Marc overtook him for few laps but he could take it back and did another great action by overtaking Martin.
Anyway the competition become more interesting now since the point gap in the standing is now getting closer between top riders.

I have missed F1 already despite having one of the boring races so far the last time.  Smiley  We are close to entering another race week though which is in Canada.

This is a track on which Verstappen has been quite dominant in the recent two years. Not only winning but also taking pole position in both years. I assume I had better be ready to see another domination by him. Especially after having a problematic weekend in Monaco I expect him to return really ambitiously. As long as he doesn't have any problem with the car I see no reason for him not to win the race. But I hope we see some good competition in qualifying and race.  Grin

It will not be that easy this time.The track is a good one,a fast one with very few turns and it is most likely a track kinda like Monza,a bit slower maybe but also here it is driven with 70% full throttle for a lap so it can be difficult for Verstappen as McLaren clearly has improved the most out of all cars in the top speed and as I said this track is one of such tracks where top speed is paramount,DRS will be making a good improvement to the race as it can be turned on just after they finish the first lap,much differently than last years where we needed to wait two laps,I am sure it is going to be a good race,the only variable not changing for me is Perez being the most mediocre driver of the full lineup,running with Redbull and screwing it up race after race.

It was a very important weekend for Bagnaia, but why do you think between three? The title will be decided between Bagnaia and Martin, in my opinion Marc has no say in that and neither does the performance.

As for Acosta, it's a very important step for KTM to tie Acosta down for the long term, if there are no major injuries there is a very good chance that he will become world champion in the future.

Alpines were in a good place to push for points in the end after a horrible start to the season. Ocon should have acted more professionally there. I know he is ambitious but he should act smarter than that.


This man has not learned from his experiences since being with Alonso, he is not a good teammate, he only cares about his ego and only thinks that he is the one who should stand out the most in the team. I understand that he is the main driver in the team, but there are times when you have to let your teammates to the fore, especially when it is an aggressive move on a circuit as narrow as Monaco. From this incident, Alpine should take a firm stance that Ocon must think more openly and act more maturely towards his teammates, because if not, this incident could happen again and it will be detrimental to them since both drivers will DNF in the racing session.

I think his performance will be enough to get him a spot for next season at the official Ducati.He is beating some of them with the bike of 2023 and that is enough to be considered a top candidate to get the official team.He is the reason I have watched some races of the MotoGP as he has made some beautiful recoveries although not yet a perfect one.Every race he come closer.

you are quite right, marquez has a great chance to get a spot on the official ducati because with the 2023 motorbike but he can get more points compared to bastianini who is the official ducati racer. that is a very good performance because with a slightly lower motorbike performance, but he can maximize it and get a spot in the top three.

but the problem here might be about sponsors, because we know that the sponsor of the official ducati is monster energy, while marquez is sponsored by red bull which is a rival of monster energy. not to mention samsung which is marquez's sponsor has to face lenovo which is the official ducati sponsor. this might be quite a complicated problem if marquez wants to move to the official ducati.

There are still a lot of free places in the teams for next year, if Bastianini doesn't improve a lot I personally assume that Martin will get the place in the factory Ducati team. I can see Marc Marquez joining the Pramac-Ducati team with an up-to-date bike with the latest specification.

I feel like other articles describe his situation in a better light even if he clashes with teammates quite often. Not sure if the news is credible since I've yet to research the reporter, but it seems like Haas and Sauber/Audi are keen to hire Ocon next season[1]. It is from the same writer though.

On the other hand, Jack Doohan will likely replace Ocon's position next year. Curious to see how he performs if he is indeed chosen to debut next year. Some articles suggest he's quite the favorite in the squad.

Alpines were in a good place to push for points in the end after a horrible start to the season. Ocon should have acted more professionally there. I know he is ambitious but he should act smarter than that.
This man has not learned from his experiences since being with Alonso, he is not a good teammate, he only cares about his ego and only thinks that he is the one who should stand out the most in the team. I understand that he is the main driver in the team, but there are times when you have to let your teammates to the fore, especially when it is an aggressive move on a circuit as narrow as Monaco. From this incident, Alpine should take a firm stance that Ocon must think more openly and act more maturely towards his teammates, because if not, this incident could happen again and it will be detrimental to them since both drivers will DNF in the racing session.
I feel like Alpine is very well aware what type of person Ocon is, and they kept going with him, so they are ok with him being how he is. I know that may not sound smart, because it ruins his situation with his team mate, I mean remember them last year at Australia? They both dnf'd because they crashed into each other.

They realize that they are not going to get many points anyway and they are one of the worst teams, so they realize that the best way to get any points would be being ruthless, yes it is terrible when its teammates crashing to each other, but it is also very good because if Ocon is racing against another team, they know that Ocon won't give an inch of room and most will be fearing to pass him on corners and only look for drs straights.

It seems that HAAS is a team that has a big chance of recruiting Ocon into their team, and if this is realized then Ocon will be paired with Bearman in the 2025 season. Maybe this will be a pretty good match for HAAS, because Ocon and Bearman don't have bad relationship and Ocon might be a good senior for Bearman to be able to pursue a career in F1. And hopefully that's the case, because after all Ocon is still a pretty good racer, but it's just that sometimes he can't control his emotions and is too selfish. Hopefully he can improve his character.

I'm not surprised, yeah.  Grin  In fact firstly they were thinking about benching him on the Canadian Grand Prix weekend. But things have really come to this point then. Ocon is normally a really ambitious driver as I said before. But he doesn't know when to be patient and when to be more aggressive. He is just causing his team a serious level of damage in this way.  Sad

He is quite arrogant at the same time. Do you remember his verbal challenge with Alonso? This guy thought he was better than Alonso.  Grin
