The Singapore GP was the race that confirmed the end of Verstappen's and Red Bull's dynasty. One or two DNFs for Red Bull this year and the WDC will shift to Norris. F1 management has to make a decision now. They shouldn't keep changing the rules because someone is dominating.

In 2014 the rule changed for Red Bull, in 2022 it changed for Mercedes, now in 2026 it will change again for Red Bull and with this change we will be back to 2000s style cars. I wonder if there is a formula for this because the races are getting boring with the constant change of regulations. It shouldn't be too difficult to stabilize this situation. That way everyone can compete better with each other. Even in the Vettel-Red Bull era, there were legendary rivalries, even though RB dominated the races. I hope we can go back to the old days.

I also hope that the Japanese manufacturers can catch up again, but I don't think they will manage to catch up with Ducati until there is a rule change to the engine and simplified aerodynamics.

As for the race itself today, a big setback for Baganaia with the crash, but congratulations to Bastianini and the overtaking manoeuvre on the last lap.

Due to Bagnaia's crash yesterday in the Emilia Romagna race, this has widened the points gap between him and Martin so Bagnaia still needs to work hard to be able to reduce the points gap at the end of this week because at the end of this week MotoGP will take place in Mandalika Indonesia. Even though previously there was news that the race in Indonesia had the potential to be canceled due to financial problems, it turned out that this could be overcome by certain parties so that the race in Indonesia could be held this season without any changes.

I think Max showed class once again, while everyone is talking about Lando Norris, Max managing to finish second with such a car is a marvellous achievement.

Look at perez for comparison, dude was like tenth or something and I believe that Max is doing what can't be done with that car, put any other driver from the grid on that car and they can't be second, but in any case Max still lost points to Lando and the gap is getting very close, Max is still in luck and if they can keep this up then I am pretty sure that Max has the higher chance of finishing first, Lando has to keep winning and I doubt that Lando will end up winning every single race, it doesn't look like it will be the case and we are going to see him finish not so well eventually and that would be the reason for him to lose.

While Mclaren is a great car, I think it's clear that we are not going to see him win. That race where Lando gave up the win to Piastri will go down as one of the worst decisions of any team ever, they will win the constructors anyway, and them losing the drivers championship because of a team order will go down in history, I think the gap between Lando and Max at the end will be as small as that one.

It was a very hard manoeuvre, I definitely agree with you, Bastianini certainly had a bit of excess speed, if he had braked too hard he would probably have slipped off the front tyre and both would have had no points, Martin reacted very well, for me a hard overtaking manoeuvre, but on the limit. Marc Marquez often makes such manoeuvres in a season and almost nobody gets upset, for me racing at a hard level. Borderline, but still just about acceptable.

So what's up with the issue about Verstappen is getting punished and has to do some dumb community service and Hamilton telling the journos that Verstappen shouldn't do it because it's...  Dumb?  I mean really.  Just for saying the F word?  

FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem is just very sensitive on this topic. Otherwise I don't think anyone else is complaining about it at all. If his concern is the kids watching the races then he should be concerned about the whole internet. 

When it comes to Hamilton, things got really awkward. First FIA president said something like they shouldn't swear like some rapper. Hamilton took it racist seemingly because most rappers were black people. I hope the tension wouldn't get much higher than this and the case would be closed. Verstappen also looks calm as of now. As far as I can see he tries not to use a bad language.

Nope...  If you were paying attention to what's going on and with the info being posted itt by coinlocket$ and the rest of the guys, you'd know that the thing that's giving Norris and Piastri their advantage and pace has been banned from the next race onwards til the end of the season.

So yeah, let's see of the races after the ban would still be good for the McLaren drivers.  More likely they're going to lose a few tenths of a second.  And let's see if the books are gonna adjust the lines right away.

The MotoGP calendar for next season has been released by the organizers and I don't see any Indian circuit in it, but before that, MotoGP itself has also confirmed through news that the Indian circuit will return to the calendar in 2026. And for next season there are 22 races on different circuits which will open in Thailand and close in Valencia, Spain, so it will be quite unique because previously the MotoGP opening was very often held in Qatar. By the way, tomorrow we will see how FP1 and Practice are in Mandalika, Indonesia.

Mercedes will bring the final big upgrade on the next US Grand Prix.
For the end of the season they will have nothing else after this upgrade.

Currently there is a really bad situation for Norris. Even if he wins the rest of the races in the season, Verstappen can still become the champion as long as he keeps up with him right behind. It is a statistics that includes sprint weeks also.

This is really sad for Norris.    But it is his and McLaren's fault. There is his fault in this too because he was really bad in some of the previous races. He could have collected valuable points. When it comes to McLaren, they were really late to focus on Norris' title chance.

It is now official.
Daniel Ricciardo will exit F1 and his seat will be taken from Liam Lawson.

RB have confrimed it, the replacement will be done in the 2024 season.
The seat will be taken from theri reserve driver, this can be a real deal since Sergio Perez could also big sacked or downgraded at the end of the season due his poor results.

FP1 and Practice for MotoGP Mandalika Indonesia went very well today with good weather and I hope tomorrow will be the same because if the conditions are dry like today, it will certainly make the Sprint more interesting. There are ten great riders who went straight to Q2 and Bastianini was the fastest in the Practice session followed by Martin and Morbidelli who completed the second and third positions in today's Practice session. And I'm a little curious about who will be in pole position tomorrow because the time gap of the top ten riders in today's session is very close.

Liam Lawson will take the place of Riccardo and as gift he will already have 10 positions penalty.
The penalty will be for engine swap and this is why he will take so many positions.

He should be valid for the next sprint race.

Damn I missed the schedule for the Sprint race so I missed the race, I forgot that the race in Mandalika is on 2PM in our timezone LOL.
I had to post about the result of the sprint race previously because the post I made before was after the sprint race but since I missed the schedule then I wrote about the Q2 result only LOL.
Need to watch the replay of the sprint race, but it is good to see that Marquez could take the 3rd position but bad for Martin who crashed and missed some points while Pecco who is the closest competitor got the best point in the sprint race.
