Evil, I need your public key.

No, I will not disclose my real name on the Internet. The very simple reason I’m anonymous is so that I can talk freely about a free web. One mistake people often make is having the faulty assumption that knowing my real name or my association with a respected person, group or organization might get them to trust me more. In fact, I have no authority here. Elastic Project is a loosely associated group of developers which constantly changes over time. If you prefer projects with a more centralized structure, then please move on. Specifically, I kindly ask you to refrain from any messages that try to convince me of the contrary. My time is too valuable to be wasted with the same discussion again and again.

What are the biggest obstacles to overcome in this project?  Is it possible that any of them can't be overcome?

Nothing is impossible Smiley But I think the hardest parts are distributing the work in to seperate packages, making sure it's secure and there aren't any exploits and verifying the work.

Lannister will you change on request the pubkeys of the genesis block  in order to allow trading between the donators?

In summary, the Intel Management Engine and its applications are a backdoor with total access to and control over the rest of the PC. The ME is a threat to freedom, security, and privacy, and the libreboot project strongly recommends avoiding it entirely. Since recent versions of it can’t be removed, this means avoiding all recent generations of Intel hardware. details https://libreboot.org/faq.html#intelme --- https://tehnoetic.com/laptops --- https://store.vikings.net/x200-ryf-certfied

If it is a yes, I made a thread if someone is interested to buy 8000XEL for 1 BTC (reference)

First basic version of a miner is working.  Basic, because it has not the 10ms block thing yet, but we are making a good progress I think.

I think this should be no problem at all. I have seen that happen multiple times, the only thing that was required was some kind of signed request.
What I would love, would be if some lite version of the coin could go online so people can accumulate or move their XEL to different pubkeys. I have no idea how such thing might look like when newly created XEL are still expected  Huh

Indeed, would be a cool feature. No idea how to implement it tho

edit: Can you publish any where your working ? If you want to, i can use it and give feedback.

However, the lite client was released after the ico. Here it's still active. I think everyone should wait until the ico has ended, no need to rush. If someone wants XEL he/she can buy at the current ico rate.

https://github.com/OrdinaryDude/elastic-reference-client

Its still pending work and not really useable.
The main project is in the root directory "/" the rudimentary miner is in "/subexperiments-lua-engine".
Should work when set up locally, is highly unstable and some essential features are missing.
I think that I can finish a first "usable" milestone pretty soon ... maybe until the next weekend?

You can get the feeling for the client in one of the videos posted here recently.

I want to donate for some volunteer gift XEL.
How should I send btc?
Just send btc from my account to 3Q2aKEGFTKDw3hghsBifXp39CZVMtZukxn
And than what should I do next to acces the volunteer gift XEL?

Yeah, exactly. You would have to donate to that address and backup the private key for the address linked to the first input of your transaction. Then, you will have to wait until a light version or the full version goes live. Meanwhile, your XEL appear here ... visible to anyone: https://github.com/elastic-project/genesis-block/blob/master/genesis-block.json (scroll to the bottom)

Just accidentally saw that someone donated 0.01 right from a mixer.
Redawn, was that you? Never do that if XEL are important to you as you will most likely do not own the private key to the addresses on the input side of the transaction.
