Objective: guess what the average ION price will be during the day of March 25, 2017 (UTC).
Participants: must be Jr. Member or above (no newbies) at the time of posting their guess and must have made at least one post in
this thread before
February 26, 2017 (UTC).
Deadline to participate: Post your guess by March 3, 2017 5:00 PM / 17:00 (UTC). See the remaining time at the end of this post.
How to play: Post in this thread what you expect the value of ION in BTC or satoshi to be on March 25, 2017 (UTC). The value must be
rounded to 6 decimals (or 100 sat), for example: 0.000212 BTC or 0.00021200 BTC or 21200 sat. One user - one guess. One number - one guess, i.e. you can't pick a number that has been already picked by someone else (first come - first serve). You can change your guess to another available number before the deadline.
Determining the winner: Within 3 days after March 25, 2017
Bittrex ION market's "Timeline" chart will be used to determine the average ION/BTC rate for March 25, 2017. The chart will be switched to the
GMT/UTC timezone and to the
1D interval. The rate will be determined by
dividing the value B (Bitcoin volume) by the value of V (ION volume) for the March 25, 2017 data point on the chart, and rounded to 8 decimals. The user who guessed the number nearest to this rate will win.
For example, the value for February 24 is 12.87855525 / 69.4k = 0.00018557 BTC. If the contest's objective was to guess the rate on February 24 then a 0.00018600 BTC guess would win; or a 0.00018700 BTC guess would win if no one guessed 0.00018500 BTC and so on.Tiebreaker: Higher guess wins.
For example, if 0.00021250 is the actual rate and we have guesses of 0.00021200 and 0.00021300 then 0.00021300 would win.Exceptions: If the rate can't be determined by suchmoon by end of day March 28, 2017 (UTC) as specified above (e.g. Bittrex shuts down or delists ION) then the lowest overall guess wins. If nobody participates or if the winner refuses the prize or doesn't provide a Bitcoin address by April 30, 2017 then the prize will be donated to a charity of suchmoon's choice. If suchmoon is incapacitated in a way that affects contest's outcome or payout - you're SOL.
Honorary mention: User "pixelpowered" is not allowed to guess zero.
