We do not know if 2017 is going to be the year of Bitcoin it is impossible to look so far in to the future. guess that the Bitcoin price is going to be around $500-$600. We will just have to wait what the rest of 2016b is going to bring us.

It would be possible indeed that it will be that year the year of Bitcoin because in this time you see indeed that the value is keeping stable for a long time for Bitcoin and that is bad.
So maybe the value will also be more in the future for Bitcoin so they can earn more money also and that would be perfect.

I guess 2017 has the potential to put all the scalability crap behind us. That's a biggie and the way will be a lot clearer. Other than that I can't really think why it's going to be a wonderful year but I'll wait to be surprised.
If we leave the scalability drama behind us trolls and fud spreaders will find something else to try disrupt Bitcoin. It will never stop. |

I think the really big moves will come 2 to 3 years from now when the killer apps hit the market
2019/20 at a guess
rapid movement will occur when market demand moved up. it will be directly proportional to the price if you want a high price. bitcoin user then expect to continue to grow |

Yeah if the halving is happening this is going to be good for 2017 because it will attract so much attention. People are going to join Bitcoin because of that and it will make the community even bigger. Definitely not 2017, the proceeding years too will be the years of bitcoin as halving is near the price will hit some great targets at the end of this year giving crown to 2017 and we can see a good adoption following this which makes bitcoin the topmost always. |

Shaping up as big year  yes we can shape up that year as the year of bitcoin, it only need some support and precautions, in that year and in this year we do not have to sell all our coins, we do not have to agree to sell our coins if someone say that bitcoin is going to die or if we see the price at a low level, and we have to join that services and have to go to those online stores where bitcoin is accepted. in that way everyone will have believe on bitcoin and everyone will prefer it and every service provider will try to adopt bitcoin. |

The most people are hoping that it will be the year of Bitcoin and that would be also nice otherwise there are a lot of people that is getting mad and that would be not good.
So the price must rise in that year because the value keeps stable for a long time in 2016 and that is quite bad.

i am more interested to see how this year is going to shape out to be like. we are still in early beginning of the year 2016 and there is already all kinds of exciting stuff happening to bitcoin.
all these projects like OpenBazaar,... the block size which has been going on long time, also lets not forget about halving which is on the way.
and also the most recent big news about steam accepting bitcoin.
i think 2016 is the year of bitcoin.

Then there'll be a new fiasco much like this year. It could be centralization of mining among a few players, since after the halving the only players that could possibly remain are the Chinese - that is if the price doesn't cope up with the difficulty. |

Well, I hope also that way. to this day I still have a few bitcoin, because different people say that in 2016 or 2017 is the year for bitcoin, so I prepared some bitcoin for it I think it will be this year to be honest because you can say what you want but the halving will let the price rise to a higher amount for sure. I think because of this it will 2016. |
