Lol another thread of 20xx the year of bitcoin. I think the years of bitcoin will be from now on and to the future, the bitcoin will rise in value inevitably but we don't know how much, so we cannot predict right which will be the year of bitcoin. They will all be the years of bitcoin from now on.

Too early for this thread to be honest. We are still in 1/3 of 2016. Anyway, I really hope that with the halving happening this year, Bitcoin price will increase. Additionally, I hope to see more and more people using Bitcoin. 2017, the year of Bitcoin?

i think every year that bitcoin moves forwards and gains more popularity, that year is the year of bitcoin. and this year has been very exciting for bitcoin so far and the adoption rate is increasing every year, especially with the recent Steam news. so i guess it will continue to next year too but 2016 will be great.

Yeah, next year's growth will depend on this year's results, if 2016 goes good for bitcoin then we can expect that 2107 will be better year for bitcoin.

I still see what will happen after halving until the end of 2016 if the price rises pretty high, probably in 2017 will be higher

if it is in line with expectation, and halving actually occurred in late 2016, then in 2017 will truly be the year of bitcoin.
users of bitcoin will become millionaires and ordinary people will invest the money they have into bitcoin. I hope it really happens

halving occurs in July, cmiiw. and maybe indirect increase. so I waited a few months until the end of the year. there is a possibility if the prices have gone up higher, those who bought before halving will dump. or will continue to rise until the beginning of 2017 and we could see $1000 again in 2017.

Maybe you are right. More and more people are becoming interested in Bitcoins, as well as cryptocurrency included in the public sphere, the State enters into circulation. Especially in the summer will halving, and forecast growth of Bitcoin in 2017.

Let’s see how the year 2017 will be. Maybe it will be far more better than the 2015 and 2016. Also, maybe lots of people will come to know of it in 2017. Well, I just believe that 2017 will be better that’s all I know.

Who says it's not... we still have a few months left in this year.   .... I still think we will see some good prices coming towards the end of this year. I have high hopes for some new stuff that was

announced this year.. eg. Steam accepting Bitcoin as a payment option soon / The Halving in 80 some odd days / Openbazaar are still in the early stages .... When all of these things start to pay off, we

will see a significant price increase and nice adoption statistics by the end of this year. The network is growing day by day.

I consider every year to be a special year for Bitcoin as we have seen large and widely supported merchants accepting Bitcoin, the difficulty is constantly increasing, people get more bullish on Bitcoin.

It's much better to focus on the bigger picture instead of saying this or that year will be THE year of Bitcoin.

We don’t need to get too sure yet. Let’s just wait and see how 2017 will be and not predict it ourselves. First of all, people need to know more about it, and also come to understand what it’s all about, that’s the only thing I am interested in.

I guess 2017 has the potential to put all the scalability crap behind us. That's a biggie and the way will be a lot clearer. Other than that I can't really think why it's going to be a wonderful year but I'll wait to be surprised.

Every year can be for bitcoin. You will have rises and falls in price. That is what bitcoin is all about, unpredictability but some people can not deal with that so they opt out of using it. They have weak hands are traders put it. They don't know when to push the button at the right time. In trading that means to sell or and buy.

Yes, from now inthis year the rate of its adoption is increased on a good level, and I think till 2017 there will be a large community of world using bitcoin as their international currency, so that year will be definitely a good year for bitcoin.
