2017 Year of the Bitcoin

The year of Bitcoin will be when I don't need to explain to people what Bitcoin is!

Do you need to explain to people what "internet" is? Not anymore, everybody knows it and everybody uses it. For me the year of Bitcoin will be when it is so widespread, that you don't need to explain it to anybody, because they all know about it. I still receive a lot of "no" when I ask people if they know what Bitcoin is.

Bitcoin survived every year since it was created so therefore theres no specific year for bitcoin. as long as many users are using bitcoin and many are still believing.. each year would be bitcoin's year.

I am not sure if 2017 is going to be year of the Bitcoin because we do not know what 2017 is going to bring us. Maybe it will be a bad year for Bitcoin we cannot look in to the future.
We just have to wait it out and see what is going happen with in 2017.

None is sure, how bitcoin is gonna be by the year 2017. In my opinion only after halving we can make good predictions. If halving doesn't give big rise 2017 might fulfil with its gradual rise.

I am sure near december 2016 , the price of bitcoins will be very high and just after that would come year 2017 , so it has good chances  of being a year of bitcoins but we cant say for sure yet.

IMO the impact of halving not be too pronounced this year, but chances are it will be felt in the year 2017 so that we could see higher prices in the year 2017, when it reached $1,000 more yes we would say 2017 years bitcoin

We will see the effect of halving after it occurs, I'm hoping that the effect of it will take before the end of the year.
And it's result will be seen on the year of 2017.

I agree with you, this is year is going the start for the productive year of 2017 for bitcoin. The price of bitcoin today is going to be higher and higher and the increase is very rapid each day. And its price now is somehow stable to $570 - $589.
And for sure next year the price will going to be $700+

How about in 2015, from $200+ range to $500? Isn't it much better in terms of growth compare to this year?

Every year expect a price rally whether going up or dipping down. From $420 to $600 this year is a big achievement but still the growth is not that high. Also that happening can't consider that it can reach much more high price before the year ends or even after halving.

price will go up and be stable that is main reason for it

It is possible that it will be the year of the Bitcoin and that is because the value of Bitcoin in this year is not that high now and the halving is also coming soon.
So maybe it will jump next year or something and that is really nice if that is going to happen.

I can say that next year can be the best year for bitcoin as the halving will going to happen this year, so the results can see after the end of the
year and for sure best results will effect for 2017.

That's at least a possibility I'm also thinking about again and again.
Meaning the real impact of the halving kicking in with a delay of a few months.And the long term effects for BTC's value with increasing adoption and network growth will be inevitable.

Yeah, that's for sure, mass adoption of bitcoin and network growth cannot be stopped. Because in that year good results will really going to happen.
So stop thinking about it man, because it will surely happen that 2017 will going to be the year of bitcoin and as well as the following years.

Actually 2016 is the year for bitcoins. Even though we saw a price of $1200 in 2013, it dropped very soon and since November 2015, it has been stable at $400-$450 and now it's increased to $580. The price jump has not taken place in a sudden so I feel that 2016 has been very helpful for bitcoins.
