Bitcoin is a Crypto currency that is in the form of digital money on a platform, which have been circulating after ICO to the public, therefore to get the actual number of people having bitcoin is not possible, rather can it only know total supply after the creation.

Actually, statistics can show how many people are using, but if we can think of an approximate number, it's really countless and its hard to give a specific number but that doesnt matter as long as every one of those people are working hard.
There is no exact number yet on how many people are been involved and using this for the rate can be but for exact number there is no. |

It could be possible to determine the number of bitcoin addresses used but for the number of people using bitcoin, it could be hard. There are people using a number of bitcoin addresses so an estimate could be done.
But having the address as a source to calculate the total number of users will not be an exact count it because most of users of Bitcoin or cryptocurreny have a multiple account on their wallet based on the transaction they usually deal with and have in the market. It is much better if cryptocurreny could have verification stages for it to have a countable users. But it is not necessary to have right now because it is not important comapre the development needed by the system of cryptocurreny. |

Never mind, actual number of bitcoin user is not important, the main points is how we can be successful and rich with presence of bitcoin. Many of us waste time and effort arguing for things that are not important. We have to focus to improve this technology and make it more usable and profitable.

The distribution is not very wide, a lot of the early adopters hold many bitcoins so it's worth noting that there are huge whales swimming around this area. As time progresses they will sell to newbies and so more people will start using bitcoin

it is very difficult to know the exact number of bitcoin users
the number of wallets that have been generated to this day also can not be a benchmark of how many bitcoin users
because one wallet can be used by several people at once (like the wallet used by the family, and the wallet on the exchange that is generated for some of their users at once)

There has been 100 million transactions on the blockchain in all of history, we know that many people do hundreds or even thousands of transactions and some websites will do hundreds of transactions PER DAY, so it seems fairly impossible that there is even 1 million users. Maybe a little less.

Actual number cant be determine on how many people using BITCOIN, but BITCOIN is a trending topic in the global cryptocurrency market which allow/encourage people to use this as their fiat coin for any transaction they made.

Is there a way to determine the number of people who are actually using Bitcoin till date? Who would have access to such information? Meaning a way to find out, how many new people have used Bitcoin in 2016 , so that we can say exponential growth is natural not artificially created by hoarders.
Its hard to give an specific number of people who are using bitcoin because nowadays more and more people are now believing to Bitcoin investments around the world. Well isn't a good news? More investors more money? it's hard to tell, but it's possible to see the number of transactions, which might be even more interesting indicator than the number of people having accounts |

well iti s almost impossible to know those exact numbers beecause we can not make an exact stadistic about that, but it has already been published that 2% of the entire population uses it

According to bitcoinblockhalf.com as of this moment, 17,097,388 Bitcoins are in circulation and 3,902,613 are still left to be mined. Since we cannot determine the specific number of users who are using bitcoin, I think it is logical to say that the number of users is less than the number of bitcoin circulating in the market. We can only tell the number of users if they are part of communities and forums like this but we cannot confirm all of them. |

I think we do not still have a way to determine the bitcoin users as of now. But we say say that today there's a lot of us using it and more and more people was learning about it.
Yes there are many people users using bitcoin, It is hard to determine, only the bitcoin system itself can see that number. |

I believe too that 2 million real people used/are using bitcoin but how much are currently active we can't know that. The bitcoin entrepreneurs have this responsibility. I believe blockchain.io give their employees bitcoins for the salaries. Others should follow.

I do not know that for sure but I do not think anyone can know for sure bitcoin users because every day there are many changes in it |

You can't really tell how many but you could just estimate. It's all about that like the human population, it's hard to say the actual number. You can't count your hair but you could estimate. It increases everyday for sure, some maybe just use it for business but not always being used.

It is in fact very difficult to know about the actual number of bitcoin uses, but one thing is for sure that bitcoin users are increasing from time to time, because we can see that more and more people are accepting bitcoin who are investing their money in bitcoin which in turn increasing bitcoin price. |

I think you can gather these information to vendors who accept bitcoins as a medium of exchange or you get these information from big exchanges. However, these information are very confidential because it may be composed of vital private information like addresses. |

I don't think you can really measure the number of people using bitcoin accurately at any time because bitcoin is free to sign up and doesn't need any ID, and is mostly anonymous. You can measure the number of used addresses, but a person or organization can have multiple addresses. Here: http://bitscan.com/bitnews/item/how-many-people-really-own-bitcoins-and-why-does-it-matter. It's quite outdated but you can safely say I think that there are around 2.5 million people right now using bitcoins. I think that's the absolutely minimum for now. I cannot say the actual numbers of people used Bitcoin. It is very difficult to determine. Maybe there are millions of people used bitcoin because it is very demand throughout the world and can have more benifets we can get in bitcoin. |
