You can't determine this, as bitcoin is mostly anonymous. A user can have as many or as few addresses as they want, only some people run nodes, and only some people connect to nodes directly.
Each person can having a lot of bitcoin address, it's dificult to determine about actual number of bitcoin users. and the anonimy of bitcoin to determine about the actual number of bticoin users become impossible. |

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

There is no accurate statistics for how many person is using or used bitcoin before because everyone can have many addresses, many bct accounts and many reddit accounts. So forget about your question

I believe we can only estimate how many new people come each month by network traffic increase..Or we can use google analytics - tools for some serious investigation.. But it is obvious that bitcoin popularity is rising.

yes we dont have the facility to investigate about the number of user of bitcoin. but we can only estimate it roughly. as i know hundreds of people must be interning in the world of bitcoin on daily basis. |

yes we dont have the facility to investigate about the number of user of bitcoin. but we can only estimate it roughly. as i know hundreds of people must be interning in the world of bitcoin on daily basis. Yeah its not possible to calculate the exact number of users using bitcoin at a moment but one thing is sure that users are increasing on daily basis. |

yeah it might be done. but you can not install google analictyc in all site about bitcoin? because as you know there are a lot of sites about bitcoin or bitcoin forum. so calculate bitcoin users so is difficult. I think is it aware of how many users of bitcoin is important? |

I haven't seen the stats, but i assume there are millions of bitcoin addresses, which could mean we got a few 100k bitcoin users. with that i mean active bitcoin users. Because active users is the information you would want to know. |

That's far too much. I don't think that is true. The amount of people is growing, but this is by far to much. I guess it's about millions, not hundred of millions but just a few (i.e. 2 or 3) million. |

I dont know the ammount of the people using bitcoin, the only sure is that we are growing, soo i would give a try and say he are something like 100k -200k bitcoin users, but we cant know the data as no one has the full bitcoin community under them.

So if we can have a idea how many peoples are using this forum than we can get an idea at least.
Maybe it will be 40-50% less from the actual number.
I guess members of bitcoin forum are only 1% of the actual bitcoin users. I just made a survey 3 months ago if anyone knows btltalk.org. the result was really low out of 2000 respondents only 20 said yes. Others do not know of it. Moreover I believe that bitcoin users are more concerned on how to earn than learning and posting on forums. Just like my case I did not mind the importance of this site not after I did a signature campaign. So only after I did a sig campaign that I appreciated that this forum was indeed great. |

We can`t know the actual number or any statistics how many people are using bitcoin, but i can say that we are expanding and more people are being introduce to use.

No body knows the actual number of people using bitcoin bcoz bitcoin is very popular in the whole world. Almost filipino is using bitcoin so i think in other country bitcoin is getting popular. I guess million people using bitcoin. Coz they know bitcoin is good investment.

yeah maybe every user has multiple accounts or many bitcoin address. so mathematically it would be difficult to calculate the total bitcoin users. maybe we can feel when the volume on the exchange rose. it probably means bitcoin users continues to grow |

Yeah we will not know the total number of bitcoin users overall certainty. we can only predict the number users by calculations by calculating the total users of several forums then add them together. to the level of truth may be small. but at least we already estimate that |
