As long as you know to immediately recognize the limitations of this game, and the consequences of staying in it for too long, your mind will be able to make a greater effort to keep you away from it.

If I were losing $8 every day it would be too much for me, but if someone can afford it it's great and I'm glad for him. I like your idea to apply gambling experience to real life in case it's positive, in case you turn small amount in a big one, but if the opposite happens? What if one just loses and loses evey time he starts to gamble? Then I think it's better to stop and it's better to not draw conclusions from the experience. The reason people are doing gambling is because people want to earn money fast and quick, easy money, to use to but things or to satisfy their wants or needs. But earning money nowadays is hard but the easiest way to earn cash from the scratch, is basically gambling. You cant stay away from it when you have already addicted to it, the only thing you can do is to limit what you will lose. When the limit is lower then you wont have nothing to worry about anymore

I certainly agree with you that gambling should be done by people who are mature and knows responsibility. People can easily lose livelihood and family time with gambling so it has to be avoided by people who don't really have that much self control in the first place. Gambling is fun but extremely dangerous for people who can't handle it properly
