I will not accept bitcoin as my salary cause I like to have a stable salary and bitcoin can't provide that right now since prices are so volatile.
Also because bitcoin cant be used very globally yet so I have to wait for that atleast.

Right now, I would  say no. If you ask me why, as you  can see the price is going up and down  and not just by small amounts. Let's say you're  paid one hundred dollars in  bitcoin and then something happens that reduces the  price of the bitcoin and you end  up with a lot more that a hundred bucks, but the  main thing, for me, would be the  price jumping and falling.
Well, you say right now but in my opinion, bitcoin will need a t least 15 to 20 years to become stable and if that is the case then you will not be accepting bitcoin any time soon.
Time is the element here and we cannot predict how many year will have to pass to make this a mainstream currency, maybe we just need to continue supporting it so in the right time it will grow and be successful as like what we wanted it to happen.
Correct, but support needs to come from different directions too, if we want to support bitcoin then we need not only to pay for bitcoin, but to accept bitcoin as payment even if you will eventually sell it for fiat.

If finally you are going to sell them for fiat to spend them then there is no point in accepting salary in bitcoins and you can also support bitcoin by investing in it and using it as a currency and it won't decrease its popularity if you don't accept salary in bitcoins.
The keyword in my previous response was “eventually” unless you have an income stream of fiat at some point you are going to need to sell a part of your holdings in bitcoin in order to pay for groceries, bills, etc. since bitcoin is still not accepted everywhere.

Its good to have faith in the potential of bitcoins but we cannot afford to trust it blindly that we can put our life and income at risk for it, as it would be too risky as you will never earn stable income.

Price volatility is the only problem for not accepting salary in bitcoin as no one will prefer to get paid less for their efforts then what they actually deserve and so everyone is hesitating in going for it.

Here in online and here in bitcoin you can not get any stable income unless if you own a good business online that can earn passive income if you success.
The good thing if you are lucky that the price of bitcoin will increase more you can gain more profit.there ., its not the case that we are accepting bitcoin as our salary.. for its a good thing that you can get bitcoin in your salary..

I want to consider accepting of bitcoins if the company is going to implement it. But if on my own opinion, I think that is going to be a risky thing if I will going to accept bitcoin as my salary. But if I get paid for my bitcoin job that is going to be fine but if I will going to get paid with bitcoin for my day job, then that's  really hard to decide.

People shouldn't want to accept Bitcoin as their main salary in its current form. Especially if you have recurring bills where you really depend on a stable income, and not an income that can decrease in value like 10-20% in a month easily. Accepting Bitcoin as payment for side jobs is fine, accepting it as main salary is simply not wise.

I actually prefer to accept Bitcoin as my salary, since most of my existing salary goes into hoarding bitcoin anyway.

Although I love bitcoin, no I will not accept bitcoin currency as a salary because of its fluctuating nature. because it's too risky, and one more thing I was not keen to take my salary in Bitcoin. Because if I receive my salary through Bitcoin and the next day, prices fell bioticon mean what should I do ... So I would not want to take risks. Wink Wink

This is just going to secure your own risk. Because even I like bitcoins too but when it comes to benefits or risk. I will going to stay always at safe side.

And besides I need cash more for using and buying the things that I need. Because I am thinking more with the negative side of accepting it.

Because when the price falls and you have receive it on your payday, then that is going to be a worse case.

Maybe when time will comes that you have the capacity to invest maybe you will accept bitcoin as your investment, I believe also that it is risky therefore I am already satisfied that part of my earning in bitcoins while the bigger portion is in fiat.

I won't appreciate the whole salary received in Bitcoin. Instead I would like a small % of salary (let's say 10%) to be received in BTC. The rest 90% can still come in conventional fiat money. This way I am regularly investing a small portion of my income in BTC without having to buy them every month. And it will also allow me to stick to the buying schedule, otherwise I'd sometimes skip on buying BTC Cheesy

I wont accept bitcoin as my salary cause like I said in the other thread you have to pay bills and bitcoin can't do that yet so you have to convert back which costs fees so in the end your only losing money.

I also have the same exact idea as you. I would like to have some of my salary in btc but most of the salary has to be in cash as we need it for the monthly and daily expenses. Unless everything accept in btc, then i may consider to be fully funded in btc.

have you ever imagine when your real salary are $500 ,
but if you receive in bitcoin you might have a chance to get $100 additional or even more?
it is fair actually with the bitcoin price moving up and down faster ,
you just need to keep watching , or if you want just keep holding.

In Europe there is a hot new pertaining to a company whose going to introduce paying bitcoins to their employees. But given the instability of the bitcoins market value is it an advantage for the employees or an disadvantage. In my opinion this kind of payment for salary is not yet beneficial to employees not until bitcoins price has become stabled. Though if bitcoin will start to increase its monetary value it can be advantageuos but if not then it is a peril to the employees. So what do you think, what is your opinion on this matter?
I personally wouldn't mind my wages being paid in Bitcoin, since they'd be easily transactable and fairly liquid, and could be a good investment for whatever I wouldn't have to use immediately. I would maybe prefer for 3/4 of my wages to be paid in fiat and the remainder to be paid in Bitcoin, because that way I can be sure that I'll have money to over my expenses and still have a portion paid in Bitcoin.

Maybe if the employer offers some insurance against swings in the market, I can see something like this working.
I would never accept bitcoin as my salary and the main reason why i dont want to do that si because i know what the price of the bitcoin will bring in the future and that would not be lovely so i hope you all never want this.
