Node is always broken, do not know the server or client wallet problem
The most common problems issues are that you need to install the Java SDK or isnt using a 64-bit system.
Try asking for help on slack.
I mean that the normal operation of a period of time suddenly interrupted, not the installation problem

Get help in Slack then.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

any reason this is not on some kind of half decent exchange ? what time frame to bittrex or even cryptopia?

this is very much holding this project back i expect.
If you scroll back a few pages you'll see a reference to an earlier post.
Apparently, they did start some discussion with Bittrex but got very offended when Bittrex responded at one point with an automatically generated email.

Also it was mentioned that Bittrex is not listing closed source coins, so HEAT can not be listed there. Perhaps liqui.io is a good idea?

When you are mining/forging and generate a block you will instantly be rewarded by 4 HEAT (PoS) and 4 HEAT (PoP).

Liqui.io picks out coins by their own, they do not have a 'recommend coin' application you can fill out. Although it is always possible to spam them with requests...

Soul_eater_123, I don´t need ask to receive that is mine. 48 hours is too much. Exchanges usually transfers BTC in few minutes. HEAT looks like a good project, but they need to do modifications in your web wallet. It is not acceptable for the customer to go to social networks to ask for their money. Transfers must be automatic or HEAT is out of the game.

I understand but people are much more likely to help if you ask nicely that is my point.

People? The only ass who has to make a few clicks is that lazy dick Savage and he doesn't give a shit about users. I bet he is counting his money while hanging out with his asian hookers in his jacuzi slurping champaine this lazy fuck.
His uselessness has reached another high as now people are writing ME how to withdraw their btc from the fucked up heat exchange. Let's just hope that no more people get scammed on the ass2ass exchange on heat and that lawenforcement will shut this crap down any time soon!

HEAT has it's own exchange so when it will be working properly no other will be needed. HEAT is like waves just better and in few aspects on earlier stage of development.
BTW Actual valuation of HEAT is already very nice, there's no reason for rushing things, maybe only into buying more for future gains. It will rise a lot and i think valuation level of waves is only the minimum in short term with working exchange, activity there and growth of community it will boost.

Some ppl get it wrong. Exchange isn't needed to make HEAT grow big and prosperous, it is community promoting big, prosperous HEAT is needed to place in effect HEAT on other comercial exchanges.

If you think differently than you are here only for short term speculation not for participation in the real project with great potential.
Wishing to be successful, hoping, doubting doesn't make you successful, being successful, thinking like the successful makes you one.

HEAT to be successful is simply inevitable.

Yeah you said it, it is like wave. When I look at waves it looks like HEAT is a cheap clone of waves that is closed source and comes with a lot of broken promises like 1000tps, which waves seems to be able to do. Great stuff, looks like waves can do what heat promised to be able to do and failed pathetic. Let's invest in waves, fuck heat xD

I was thinking exactly this thought this morning. HEAT is like a better waves that not as many people know about. It wont take long for all the waves users to jump ship when they realize this. Im really impressed with the efforts of the team. They have accomplished so much and done it the entire time with the most obsessive troll (hey stewie) spreading FUD. Ive come to think he must be a paid troll old stewie, hes just been around for so long. wouldnt it be funny if he was a waves dev in disguise. Gotta hand it to him though, hes very entertaining and ive grown to really enjoy reading his comments. Someone made a joke about an asset called STW being stewie coin. thats hilarious, he totally does deserves it.

Woof woof!!

If you want the coin to be widely held we have to go to a big exchange.

Unless the coin is widely held how can the network be secure?

For this reason Heat needs to go to a big exchange. Hardly anyone even knows this coin exists ATM!

How will you get lots of nodes in the network if you isolate yourself on your own exchange that no one knows about?   Huh

Isolation cannot produce a successful blockchain

This is my view on the project.

Pros:
- interesting features planned or already available
- business oriented aproach of the team
- great Slack community with devs available there for chat
- whales involvement (Supernet)
- forging rewards

Cons:
- people ralely invest in coins that are many months old but didn't manage to take off, they prefer investing in fresh projects, so there is slim chance this will actually go to the moon
- many of the features are already available in other projects (Waves, NXT etc.)
- Bittrex will not list it because it is closed sourced, liqui.io won't list it becase it is not a new coin, Poloniex is obviously another league but they
might list it but only if volume on other established exchanges is big enough

Yes, a lot of nodes exchange data to make the block chain work properly.
