So my drunk math shows that network difficulty for ETC is 200 times lower than ETH, and the exchange rate is about 30-50 times lower (lots of up/down going on still).

Anyway, no idea what that means. Profit?

Idk can you call hashking?

No need, I think "profit" was right, epool hashrate more than doubled since ETC was listed on Poloniex. Lots of people are gambling with rentals apparently.

It's been 2 hours, volume 1500 BTC, now at 0.0015 BTC per coin (roughly $1).

Just a philosophical question, what makes the true value of ETHC, is it the actual software or the unmolested ledger?

If it's the software then in theory why aren't the multitude of ETH forks like Expanse, Shift or Krypton worth the marketcap of ETC now? I mean after all they have the same use case and an established development team, even albeit if the development is more amateurish compared to the ETH Foundation.

Or are people valuating an untouched ledger as being worth 50 million?

I guess what i'm saying is if the argument for ETHC's value is that it's "the real Ethereum" then can't you make the argument that any of its clones are also "the real" Ethereum too since many are 1:1 copies or are we just highly valuating Ethereum's previous transaction history more than the actual use case of the software?
