Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the
subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The
subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I vouch for him. Can he be approved to post immediately? The reason he just registered, in fact, is just (for starters) to reply to this thread I started that investigates the need for different altcoins. If I had some "ReputationCoin" on bitcointalk, I would gladly spend some of it in exchange for lifting Yoni's newbie restrictions. |

i'm f4ntasy and hate stupid web and social solutions, especially when occur together[e.g. some newbie restrictions on several bitcoin forums]
btw. i know, that soviet russia doesn't exist anymore, but there the person who invented it would be shoot in some nkwd basement there(and burried in some mass-grave never to be found)
of course i don't support such methods
i would hang him send him to prison for 200 years leave him alone with
his emotional problems

Long story short, i created a Second Life account in an attempt to purchase linden dollars and exchange them for bitcoins, only to have my attempts at depositing lindens into a VirWox account thwarted by a risk block thingie because I am a new user. Unless anyone knows of any other ways to get bitcoins using a credit or debit card, i must ask: is there anyone out there who would be willing to trade BTC for my lindens? I have no real desire to play Second Life. I will offer them at a discount. Hoping to hear back from someone very soon.
