I've been using bitcoins for commerce for a about 6 months now, and have made a decent amount of trades on Mt Gox. I am intrigued by the possibilities of this digital currency. I am currently in the process of developing a new fixed rate exchange that will be simple to use, eliminate the need for third party payments, and offer complete anonymity for BTC / USD transactions. More info to come!

Hi everyone!

Well, I'm not new to bitcoin, I've been mining for six months, and I just built a mining pool this weekend (www.bithurt.com). I've been a lurker for a while, but just signed up so I guess I gotta prove my worth.

Let's see, my day job is actually 2 jobs in one. I'm half systems engineer, half programmer. I know pretty much all the programming languages used today. Some I use every day, some I'm just competent.

For my mining pool I'm using a vps with ububtu 10.04, poolserverj, and simplecoin with many fixes I made myself. As of now, I gpu mine, but I did pre order 3 BFL single SC units and one jalapeño for my gf.

Hi Everyone,
I'm a newbie to Bitcoin, interested in arbitrage trading of bitcoins, as well as eCommerce use of bitcoins. I'd like to see more vendors accepting bitcoin, and assist in the promotion of its use.

Thanks

Hello! I'm new (of course  Grin).
Originally signed up to report an issue with guiminer, but can't seem to post it in the thread.

I had it running just fine on my computer, but when I upgraded my graphics drivers to the latest, GUIMiner doesn't give me the option to use my graphics card, just the CPU.

I won't elaborate here, that's for reporting to the right thread when I get the option to.

Howdy, been into bitcoin for about a month now. Using Gox, CryptoXchange and MercadoBitcoin, all sem like good exchanges. Surpised by how expensive bitcoins are in BRL - if you want to move funds to Brazil you will get about 20% about exchange rate by sending the money via Bitcoin!

Unlevereged financial instruments acting as a store of value that fluctuate 50% within 10 minutes is perfectly acceptable. I think it should be offered in IRA form to soon to be retirees.
