Hi folks. New here, but not to the scene.

Currently I'm working on an open source bitcoin marketplace called BitWasp. I saw another post on this forum about it but as I'm a noob..... Anyways, glad to make your acquaintance, I'll be here a bit more often now!

To those who haven't heard of us yet:
http://thelaboratory.org
http://github.com/Bit-Wasp/BitWasp
https://plus.google.com/109479781028317238648/about

We're still in alpha development, but our source code is kept up to date on github. Anyone interested in contributing code please do get in touch, or if you have pointers/ideas we'd be delighted for your feedback all the same!

Bitwasp Developer.

please do so! and get a post Smiley
don't be so negative, the 5-post-4-hour-rule is there for a reason: to get rid of the trolls. NOT to piss newcomers off.

relax take it easy and smile. Cheesy

If you see anyone spamming this thread, please report it. Spam will result in an immediate ban.

So how about being able to post on other forums besides this one...I wanted to post important info on a new(ish) exchange and I'm blocked Sad(

Anyhow, Hi everyone, I've been lurking on here for a couple months now and love all the great info you can find about bitcoins. I look forward to seeing the bitcoin market grow huge as we get more integrated with our digital world!

Hi all,
Long time lurker here who has been watching the bitcoin phenomenon go through its teething process.  I've set up a few mining rigs with multiple cards and watched the prices go up and down.  It's only recently that I'm starting to see good developments and feel bullish about the uptrend (from USD5 to USD10+).

Anyway, since I've been a miner since last year, I was using LinuxCoin as a USB thumbdrive boot disk.  However, it appears not to be maintained anymore, so I've started using Xubuntu on a stick as the instructions from https://github.com/kanoi/linux-usb-cgminer/blob/master/linux-usb-cgminer.  Still, that did require some work to get going so I was wondering if there's is another ready-to-go Linux distro that can fit on a 4GB thumbdrive like LinuxCoin?

Hi, I got interested in Bitcoins because I felt that it would be the most hassle free way to pay for a VPN service. I've been lurking this site for a few days, and I've registered with the OTC Web of Trust.

I have been trolling hard for a not insubstantial period of time only to find out that I am doomed for the present time to post only to this forum, this thread of which, at least, seems very narcissistic.

Well I think all of us appreciate the levity you have brought the the newbie bitcointalk community...I for one am quite disheartened that I have been condemned to troll around this meagre forum for a period of no less than 4 hours

Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself.  Attorney here.  I mostly practice in criminal law, and tort actions (personal injury/wrongful death/assault/battery that kind of thing).  Hope to meet some great people and help them out!  See you around the forums Smiley

Charlie Kelly: I'm pleading the 5th.  The Attorney: I would advise you do that.  Charlie Kelly: I'll take that advice under cooperation, alright? Now, let's say you and I go toe-to-toe on bird law and see who comes out the victor?  The Attorney: You know, I don't think I'm going to do anything close to that and I can clearly see you know nothing about the law.

Hi,
I am not anything in particular.

I am pretty proficient with Maya 3D Modeling ( 6 years work exp ) and Maya python API.
Willing to offer my services for BTC of course.

i have other skills as well, ranging from gardening to coding ( mostly python ) and corporate strategy planning, but those are more like hobbies, and real life jobs.

Hello, I work for the suicide hotline. I'm good at talking people off the ledge... and onto the pavement. I have a pet mermaid who was exiled by her family for having a blowhole. I am proficient in Qi removal and aura reduction surgery with a specialty in halo banishment. I once ran over a squirrel and I still feel horrible about it. Cry My name is Jean and I am addicted to emoticons. Sad I practice all religions simultaneously. Shocked

That pretty much sums it up. Tongue

Hi all, I'm from Rome and I'm in bitcoin world since 2011, even though I'm gettin into it deeper since a few months. I'm absolutely enthusiastic about it and I hope it will be used larger than now.
