Hi all, my name is Dustin. I've had an idea for the marketplace that I'm hoping will be of interest. An art thread. Well I've seen a couple on there but I guess I'll see how mine goes.

The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the
first distributed timestamping system.

Hi all,
Fairly new to Bitcoin, but have been exploring it on and off for the past few months. Now that I have a fairly decent GPU mining is actually a fair propositon for me, so I just got started a few days ago with cgminer on Win7. So far so good. Have been experimenting with the different settings and have been able to get 420 mh/s from my 7870. exciting times.
Does anyone know of markets/exchanges in Canada besides virtex? Fees are very high.
Thx looking forward to the BTC madness.

Hi folks. New here, but not to the scene. Currently I'm working on an open source bitcoin marketplace called BitWasp. I saw another post on this forum about it but as I'm a noob..... Anyways, glad to make your acquaintance, I'll be here a bit more often now! To those who haven't heard of us yet: http://thelaboratory.orghttp://github.com/Bit-Wasp/BitWasphttps://plus.google.com/109479781028317238648/aboutWe're still in alpha development, but our source code is kept up to date on github. Anyone interested in contributing code please do get in touch, or if you have pointers/ideas we'd be delighted for your feedback all the same!

Hi all, Long time lurker here who has been watching the bitcoin phenomenon go through its teething process. I've set up a few mining rigs with multiple cards and watched the prices go up and down. It's only recently that I'm starting to see good developments and feel bullish about the uptrend (from USD5 to USD10+). Anyway, since I've been a miner since last year, I was using LinuxCoin as a USB thumbdrive boot disk. However, it appears not to be maintained anymore, so I've started using Xubuntu on a stick as the instructions from https://github.com/kanoi/linux-usb-cgminer/blob/master/linux-usb-cgminer. Still, that did require some work to get going so I was wondering if there's is another ready-to-go Linux distro that can fit on a 4GB thumbdrive like LinuxCoin? C

Hi, I got interested in Bitcoins because I felt that it would be the most hassle free way to pay for a VPN service. I've been lurking this site for a few days, and I've registered with the OTC Web of Trust.

I have been trolling hard for a not insubstantial period of time only to find out that I am doomed for the present time to post only to this forum, this thread of which, at least, seems very narcissistic.

Well I think all of us appreciate the levity you have brought the the newbie bitcointalk community...I for one am quite disheartened that I have been condemned to troll around this meagre forum for a period of no less than 4 hours

Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. Attorney here. I mostly practice in criminal law, and tort actions (personal injury/wrongful death/assault/battery that kind of thing). Hope to meet some great people and help them out! See you around the forums

Charlie Kelly: I'm pleading the 5th. The Attorney: I would advise you do that. Charlie Kelly: I'll take that advice under cooperation, alright? Now, let's say you and I go toe-to-toe on bird law and see who comes out the victor? The Attorney: You know, I don't think I'm going to do anything close to that and I can clearly see you know nothing about the law. 19GpqFsNGP8jS941YYZZjmCSrHwvX3QjiC

Hi, I am not anything in particular.
I am pretty proficient with Maya 3D Modeling ( 6 years work exp ) and Maya python API. Willing to offer my services for BTC of course.
i have other skills as well, ranging from gardening to coding ( mostly python ) and corporate strategy planning, but those are more like hobbies, and real life jobs.
