Hello there,

started mining in July 2011 after i saw an article on Hardocp.com on Slush.

had a 5870 in my PC ... added a second one for 150 EUros.

Now have a dedicated rig with 4x5870 on a 890FXA-GD70 on BAMT. (search brucemangy on youtube)
made a wooden frame to support the cards using risers.

i noticed that there is a lot of hoping even with the way the pay is calculated. Will show graphs i made on RRDtool when i am able to.

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

been following bitcoin for a while since I heard about it on Steve Gibson's Security Now podcast, very interesting. I just picked up a 7950 for gaming and thought, heck why not try mining? So I've been getting about 500MH/s out of it and just finished mining my first bitcoin (using deepbit pool). I'm very interested in FPGA but they seem cost prohibitive for me personally at the moment. I'd love to learn more about stuff like is deepbit the best pool for me to be with? So yeah, hello!

I'm a new-ish person to bitcoin, in that I haven't been actually mining for long...

I noticed a server I built happens to have four PCIe slots... and well they aren't being used, and it's not like the CPU is used much for bitcoin.  So... I have a server than also happens to mine Smiley

Hello folks!

Just registered to this forum because I thought of using the "Marketplace"-section in the future.

I discovered bitcoins a couple of months ago, read up on it and then aquired some equipment for mining. ATM 2x5870 at about 800mhash/s.

Knew about bitcoins for quite some time, and recently decided to try mining some. Dual Radeon HD 7970s and single Radeon HD 6950 unlocked to 6970, all together producing 1500 Mh/s.

Hi all,

the idea of a currency independent from the greedy banking system seems highly attractive to me. Presumably the 'big boys' will do everything they can to undermine the Bitcoin movement. So I'd like to support a bit.
