Ive got asus gtx1060 dual 6g OC Edition and getting 21.5mh each. They have the Micron memory. The zotacs arent great from things ive read on here.

From canada:

Ive got  ASUS Dual OC 3GB and ASUS turbo 6GB and a zotac 1060.
All samsung memory all do 23.5MH/s ETH. OC settings are 24/7 365 stable.

I would recommend both brands to anyone.
Just stay away from the single small fan cooler types. Non reference coolers are the best 2-3 fans minimum.
Oh and samsung memory.

I have 6x PNY GTX 1060 3GB's.  They each get 23.5 Ether Mh/s and 1065 SC Mh/s (dual mining).

I run them at 65 power.  Rig consumes 520 watts on the high end.

1065 SC Mh/s? For all 6 together right?

Alot of people are bashing hynix, and Micron, and glorify Samsung but noticed alot of those people own lower end cards like gigbyte, sapphire, xfx, vision tek, powercolor.
Don't kill me for saying lower end cards, essentially they are all the same but doesn't higher brands like MSI and ASUS use different hardware like capacitors, circuitry, etc...
I am only bringing this up because i had a 2 gigabyte rx580s, along with 2 asus rx580s they all had Samsung memory but only the gigabytes gave me issues every damn day.
My new MSI GTX 1060 6GB (ALL Micron Memory) is pushing +600 MEM & 50 PL without a single hiccup for 4 days of straight mining, each card at 23.125..... i will be pushing even higher in the next day or two.

Asus GTX 1060 3gb Dual

power limit  %65
temp. limit   70
core            +0
memory      +950
fan speed     %45

i get 25.1 Mhs @ 59c temp with claymore 9.7

Really, my Asus GTX 1060 6GB dual only get ~20 MHz, if I increase memory + 950, whole rig will crash  Cry Cry Cry

Actually, out of all cards with Micron memory, Asus was the worst I ever had. Couldn't even stay stable at +350. While Gigabyte Microns can easily make +600 or more. Gigabyte with Samsung at least +750, some even up to +1000. Each card is different, even same model from same manufacturer.

And it seems you never had a card with Hynix. Even if you could OC a Hynix to +1000, hashrates are still shitty, because they have lower timings to begin with. Doesn't matter which brand you buy.

Hynix at stock ~15mh, max OC ~20mh
Micron and Samsung at stock ~19mh, max OC ~23-25mh
That's with Claymore 9.7, ETH only mode

Microns are not THAT bad, they are ok. Micron and Samsung have same hashrate, if left at stock or OC at same level. But most Samsungs can OC higher than Micron, that's why Samsung are the best. Hynix will always stay behind them both. I have a Hynix from Gigabyte which I can OC to +850 and run stable....still only 20mh.

I don't know how you guys stay stable at +950 on the memory. For me on any card with any memory the system isn't stable at anything over 625-650 when I'm reducing the power to 60-70%. I'd have to run full power to overclock that high and it's not worth it.

That's why you should stick to stock settings and try to go as low as possible with PL.

Do the math at how much electricity you save (%) and after that do the math with overclock how much you gain. I think is better to lower PL and save than to overclock. Your call.

That's easy, don't even have to think about it. Let's assume you have extremly expensive electricity at 0.30$/kWh.

1060 with Samsung memory:
Stock: ~19 mh
PL: 50% (that's lowest you can get in Afterburner, I don't even know if that's stable at stock settings) = 62.5W of 125W TDP
Monthly profit at current ETH price (~198$): 39.49$ per card

with OC:
+650 mem clock: ~23mh (this is already minimum, almost every card with Samsung memory can do)
PL: 70% (all my Nvidia cards are set to 70%) = 87.5W
Monthly profit: 41.55$ per card

This is already assuming the worst case with miminum OC, very high electricity cost, and also current ETH price is pretty low...and you are still making more profit than without OC.

I use simplemining.net and this are my stats.

GTX 1060 3GB MSI GAMING X is doing 25,15mh/s super stable  Grin

Now i want to mine  monero (xmr), but i see nvidea cards for xmr mining is not supported in simplemining right?

Or is there way to do it?

I tried some program on my win10 but only getting 350mh/S out of it.  I see on youtube that people do 450mh/S
I already gave my cards a memory oc of 900, so i dont get it why i only get 350mh/s

Anybody with a solution?

thanks in advance guys

For people having the rig in the living room, also heat and noise can be a topic. And a cost of 0.30 is for some countries like Germany already the minimum you pay per kWh.
What is sure is there will come a bill for the electricity, what is not so sure is how the ETH price will develop. So if you want to be on the safe side, I would prefer the lower consumptiom (fix costs) over the slightly better (unguaranteed) profit...

A little OFF but couldn't help it: Sorry mate, but those of you in western Europe are pretty behind in terms of electricity bills. Here in Bulgaria the average cost of Kw/h is 0.09 EUR or $0.11 (similar in USA/Canada, just a little bit more than Russia and China), so we have tons of R9 280/290 still hashing away. And they are being sold second hand pretty good.

ON the topic I confirm the observations of everyone:

6 x MSI 1060 3GB (hynix) - 114 - 115 top (19 each) with eth miner. Claymore 9.7 is 110-111 + 1200 pascal (sia wasn't stable for some reason) . I run them at core +100, mem +550 PL 60% , power draw is 500W from wall with GOLD PSU

1 x Palit dual fan 1060 3GB (samsung) - 23-25 top with eth miner (mem + 800, PL 60%, fan at 55%) Don't know the power draw but i guess it's not so good given it's just 1 card - this is my desktop PC in the room where I sleep and I have no problems with noise. I thought I may need to buy accelero cooling for silence but not necessary

It's funny how the cheapest card is actually the fastest

I bought a Palit Dual a week ago... hynix (like almost all cards since release of the mining editions.)
Bur i have the MSI with samsung. ^^
