I'm mining at around 125 watts / card ( really high, how you guys can mine at 80-85 watts ? ) , power consumption of 82%, core memory + 50. Using CCminer 2.0, windows 10. There is your answer in bold. My 5 cards draw 350W from the wall, which comes down to about 70W, minus the CPU and other parts of the computer, so the real wall power draw is less than 70W per card. I run +600 memory and 55% power consumption. Downclock your GPU as much as possible. But I have quit mining Ethereum. It's good however for people with high power cost (me, I just don't care, I mine coins which are cheap now and have potential to go x10 in the future, giving me x10 proft). What are you mining?

Im running SmOS Ubuntu and have like 5 different types of cards, windforce, OC and other MSI. I am getting about 20-21 MHs on ETH and about 300 a piece for equihash with mild to no OC settings. I have actually sold off all my Radeon cards as they take way more power in comparison. Huge power sources are not in my future as I can run 4 of these guys on a 750 watt PSU, which is really nice as I have them just kind of laying around from previous projects.

After you will buy them, depending on the type of memory you'll get ( I have 3 of them ASUS Dual GTX 1060 6gb with Micron memory) will depend your hashrate on Zcash or Eth. As you can read on previous pages, Hynix are the worst for Eth, stock being at 16Mh, Micron doing about 19-20Mh and Samsung going to 22-23Mh. Good luck

How do you properly overclock your your cards? Is there a setting that I should start with? Then move to another setting when I reach a number I'm ok with? I kinda just messed around with my 1060 and got it to 21mhs on eth

Warning: hope you know modifies value it can damage your hardware soo be ware of what you doo1. start miner with default setting on video > Msi Afterburner 2. set power limit to 70 check miner if he run fine with out any reject or stale you are ok goo to next step (power needs it depend of what miner & what coin you want to mine coz there are diferite situation) 3. set memory clock to 250 check miner look for reject / stale then if all is fine set it to 300 check miner ... all fine set 400 & soo on, add 100 to each value till 600-700, depend who was made video ram, from 700 add 50 more till you will see pc crash, reject kick in, repeat all this process till you like but do not cross 950-1k !!!! 4. all this time monitor gpu temperature & adjust manualy fan speed to keep it on value what you fill comfortable ... personal i like to have on 60 max 70 because heating is one biggest enemies of electronic 5. try adjust power limit more down if is possible my target was 60-65% but i say it depend what coin & what miner you use!!!! A. each result depend by who was made video memory samsung > hynix > micron B. each result depend by what miner you use & what extra command you add C. it require patience to find sweet spot were your video card work fine, if you have 2,3,4 ... video card be ware each can have diferite behavior D. Tuning Dual Miner it require extra action to be done aka tuning miner what you use & for that you need to read post from dev post & see what other was done read what other was done with similar video card & try to get close to that value gl & hope it help

I've been reading a lot of pages here... Thinking about switching to eth mining and buy digibytes afterwhile instead of mining digibyte directly. I'm mining at around 125 watts / card ( really high, how you guys can mine at 80-85 watts ? ) , power consumption of 82%, core memory + 50. Using CCminer 2.0, windows 10. I have as well some effective hashrate problems, see ; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2074862.msg20730275#msg20730275Tomorrow i'll mine Eth and compare my stats to yours to see how its going. If anyone got a solution for me in the meantime, I would really, really appreciate it. Pics : CCMiner : Pool hashrate : Wait.... 1 gtx 1060 can mine groesti at 47mh? Because Whattomine it say just 20mh!!! So the earnings will be great now... diamond coin? Am gonna try it

Am gonna try it I just want to warn you before, I'm making some test in the meantime cause I think I've found my main problem by myself, but I'll still share it with you in case someone has to say something else about it. When I'm mining CCMiner 2.0, I get around 49 MH at 85% power on my ''good'' evga cards. The problem is, the hashrate and gains I make with it are inferior than when I use CCminer 1.7.xx CCMiner 2.0 = Bigger local hashrate, less hashrate at the pool and less gains. CCminer 1.7 = I get about 39-40 MH instead of my ccminer 2.0 49 MH, but I have a stable hashrate at pool, and a stable mining income. ( Yeah, I don't understand either, but would like to ) I'll continue my test further tomorrow after 2 days of mining with CCminer 1.7.xx then turn my miners back to CCminer 2.0 This is for Myriad-Groestl mining In the meantime, Can't wait to get my other pci-e Riser, as I've started to shop for another 6 gpu rig

At some ccminer version (or mod version), I can see nice local hashrate, but unstable hashrate at pool, but some version with less local hashrate but stable pool hashrate. Please do test further and update us the result. Thanks!

What is your clock on GTX1060 Micron Memory?
I am using: Claymore Miner 9.8 Driver 385.12 - BETA Windows 10 Pro
Power Limit +80 Core Clock +100 Memory + 700
I get 22.3 - 23 MH/s but the miner is not very stable, often restarts and I get Error CUDA mining: an illegal memory access was encountered.
Any help? Appreciate it.

Ya as someone else said... 650 is the max on the memory. I run it at 75% power and leave the core clock at stock.

I managed to make my ASUS R.O.G. STRIX-GTX1060-O6G-GAMING 6GB (Micron Memory) stable at 24.x MH/s with the following settings. Power Limit: 116 Core Clock: +110 Memory: +650 Base Boost is 2088MHz/4551 MHz.
I tried lowering the power limit to save power but it will drop the hashrate to 22 below.
Im currently using Genoil ethereum miner (no DevFee).
Edit: +650, not +65

Did you test with OC memory clock abit more? Memory clock speed is good and essential for ETH, you just increase +65, I think you can increase more further.

It seems I forgot to add 0 in Memory: +650. I do remember I was able to make it worked at +700 but only in Claymore and will crash after 30 mins.
