Hey mate - head over to https://whattomine.com/ and put your card in (1060). The website shows you what your hash rate and power consumption is for loads of different algorithms. Seriously try it - I have a 6Gb 1060 zotac btw. Good luck! Regards

I have 18 cards nvidia GTX 1060 6GB Im only getting about 22mh/s no matter what settings i use. ... What are the setting you use when getting 25 mh/s stable?
What type of RAM you have on your cards, Samsung or other? For my MSI Aero 1060 6gb with Samsung, these were the afterburner settings and the averaged results. The power limit apparently differ from maker to maker. Some get good results with 50%. It seems that underpowering decrease the hash rate quite a bit with everything else the same. On the other hand, once the card reached its max, giving more power has no further effect. For me, playing with the core speed had no effet pro or con, however, I'm doing Eth only mining. ~950 mem speed, the cards go over 25. However, you can start to experience issues on the long run. Power| | Core| | Mem| | Avg Hasrate | 50 | |-200| | 000| | 18,8 | 54 | |-200| | 000| | 19,7 | 58 | |-200| | 000| | 19,7 | 62 | |-200| | 000| | 19,8 | | | | | 50 | |-200| | 300| | 18,1 | 54 | |-200| | 300| | 20,9 | 58 | |-200| | 300| | 21,3 | 62 | |-200| | 300| | 21,4 | 66 | |-200| | 300| | 21,4 | | | | | 50 | |-200| | 600| | 17,6 | 54 | |-200| | 600| | 20,3 | 58 | |-200| | 600| | 22,7 | 62 | |-200| | 600| | 23,1 | 66 | |-200| | 600| | 23,1 | | | | | 50 | |-200| | 900| | 17,0 | 54 | |-200| | 900| | 19,9 | 58 | |-200| | 900| | 22,3 | 62 | |-200| | 900| | 24,6 | 66 | |-200| | 900| | 24,8 | | | | | 70 | |-200| | 900| | 24,7 | 70 | |0000| | 900| | 24,7 | 70 | |+200| | 900| | 24,7 | | | | | 62 | |-200| | 910| | 24,6 | 63 | |-200| | 910| | 24,6 | 64 | |-200| | 910| | 24,7 | 65 | |-200| | 910| | 24,8 | 66 | |-200| | 910| | 24,8 |

Finally, got 5 x 1060 6 go EVGA cards installed with 9 go of memory clock instead of the usual 6 go. ( All samsungs )
I'll try some dual mining later.
Can someone share their hashrates with their 1060 card while dual mining ? I want to compare their hashrates.
Thx.

. well i stopped dual mine cause 24.5mh eth is better than dual mine with 1060 3gb doing if i remember well 20mh eth/200mh dcr the only one miner very fast was nicehash miner 2 nvidia version that was allowing to do with 6x 1060 3gb 131mh eth+3.1gh dcr doing great results with his internal excavator miner. now with the new 2.0.1.4 version they removed dagger algo and dual mining for all 3gb cards which i am stuck in old version. calymore max did with 6x 1060 3gb was 129mh + 2.6gh decred

Hi,
Anyone had problem with running 6x1060 gtx? When i am running 5x it's running without problems. But with 6 rig just keeps restarting and droping one pci slot. Maybe i should try to modify pci bus lane to 128 or set to gen1?

dual mine on gtx 1060 3gb means reducing hash rate for ETH, it's not such a good deal.

Since ETH is out of the game how do you switch between different algorithms for mining? Manually , or using Nicehash and similar solutions?

What about 6gb? I never tried but from what i read, it should be possible without affecting ETH hashrate

It depends on what you're willing to do. Minergate and alikes are the easiest one, you just have to turn on smart mining and it will select automatically the best currency. The drawback is that Minergate is not very transparent in how much money you're making and the choice of best currency is questionable. I tried with my rig and XMR was always the recommended currency while it's far from being the most profitable one. You can go for a dual miner like claymore and there you'll mine two currencies at the same time. If you want something more custom made, you'll probably have to develop a script. I have seen mining pools proposing automatic switching but I haven't tried them.

Sure. Except the 1050 doesnt yield a lot. If you had 1050 ti it would be a little better, but they arent recommended for mining unless if you only want to try it for the fun of it before investing further.

I have 8 pcs 1060 and getting total ol 185 mh on ethereum mining. I have a watchdog script and its running %99.9 uptime. 1060 has a nice price/roi ratio for me.
