Requesting Whitelist:

You can look back at the posts I made before getting blacklisted.  My first post was a decent quantitative analysis of the javascript miner, my 2nd and 3rd posts were selling an iTunes gift card.

I'm also admin of coinchan.org.  I realized I was blacklisted when trying to post this article on the Economics forum:

http://coinchan.org/distribution.html

You can see on by scrolling down to the bottom of the page that I wrote the article.

Thanks!

Hi there,

Been here for a while unregistered and today i'll finish to set up my 3x5850 mining rig @~1000 mhashes, not to mention that i'm into bitcoining quite some time.
Would appreciate it to be whitelisted - could be convenient to post questions/answers in pool-threads from time to time.

Thanks,
greetings from Germany

Hi,

I'd like to request the restriction lifted so I can promote my new YouTube channel about Bitcoins to the widest possible audience.  The existing thread I have is here:

Greetings-
I am mostly a lurker here for the last few months.
Been trading a small amount of BTCs.
I recently set up an antiquarian bookstore to use bitcoins and I was going to post a link here.
So, if you can whitelist me it would be much appreciated.
 Best Regards -

Hi,

Please let me out of here.
I am implementing an FPGA miner on a Virtex6 LX760 and need some clarification from the people that is writing under the mining software section.
My question is basically, why do The Seven do like this when returning the nonce:
txdata <= currnonce(7 downto 0) & "01" & currnonce(15 downto Cool & "01" & currnonce(23 downto 16) & "01" & currnonce(31 downto 24) & "01000000100";

I see no reason for this.

Best Regards,
David

Hi all, please let me out of here - at this point I feel that I would have an easier time ordering a truckload of Siberian tigers than getting my hands on a couple of friggin bitcoins!

I would like to post on the "www.BitcoinExchange.cc - Western Union, MoneyGram, MoneyPalk, ACH/Wire, Dwolla" thread. I contacted them about ordering some bitcoins and I was received instant responses at first. Then I sent a moneypak # and the communication stopped - no response to emails, TOR PMs or form submissions. They didn't access the MoneyPak, but what gives?! What the hell does a guy have to do to get some bitcoins?! I even tried Trade Hill and of course, they don't take MoneyPaks, so I'm supposed to do an international wire transfer or set up a dwolla account. Seriously? I just want a couple of hundred bucks worth of bitcoins - at this point I was going to post and ask if anyone is willing to do a private transaction via Paypal.

Thanks a lot,

Al

I would like to see what the interest is of people to stay at either one of my hotels: hojomaingate.com or redroofbp.com and pay in BTC.

I'm not sure on what kind of exchange rate I would want, but that would be something I'd want to discuss.

LOL, I think by just replying to this message, I'll have 5 posts and be whitelisted anyway.  Thanks.

Only five?  I thought I read fifty.  I'm getting old and my eyesight is going. Wink

Yeah, I thought I'd be okay now.  I guess it takes more than 5 posts?

I'm looking for (slightly) early release, can  you help a miner out?

I've been lurking for a while and have a few posts in, but I'm actively mining and would really like access to the mining forums to ask a few optimization questions.  No need to worry about spam, I'm more of a lurker than a poster and won't add to the boards any more than necessary.  Thanks!

Let me make one thing clear: I cannot whitelist you people, unfortunately. I would be more than happy to but my privileges do not allow me to do so. You will have to wait for authorized personnel to sort through the queue. My apologies.

If the whitelisting process actually doens't work, so why there are the newbie restrictions like they are? Requiring a few posts that make sense is alright, but requiring four hours of activity on the forum means people who wait for the Jr. Member status but don't have the need to comment on everything will be just poking around uselessly for a few hours. Wouldn't it be better to decrease it to just, say, one hour?

I'd like to contribute to the frontend pushpool code (I know Ruby/Perl and some PHP), there's a thread here http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=8760.120 that I'd like to reply to.

Thanks in advance!

Hello, my name is George and I am a part of the Bitcoin7.com team. Since there is a rising discussion about the website, I would really like to answer some questions and make things more clear, because most of the users are really getting the wrong idea about the website. Thanks a lot!

Howdy.  It's a good idea to ask folks to demonstrate some credibility first....

I'd like to post on the technical analysis thread about a question I asked recently at Stack Exchange Money:

What technical indicators might be appropriate for analyzing Bitcoin currency trading? - Personal Finance and Money - Stack Exchange

Hopefully you'll let me establish enough cred to do that here and now both via my intro reply on Newbiews which links to my profile on a number of other sites like my Ubuntu member page and Wikipedia, and by linking indirectly from my "nealmcb" handle to my profile here, which you can see at my Delicious site:

 http://www.delicious.com/nealmcb

And thanks to all the folks helping make Bitcoin a community-driven effort for good in the world!

I am a member of several exchanges, and looking to contribute to the liquidity and stability of bitcoin. I would like to see bitcoin successful, but there are several technical, political, and legal hurdles that need to be solved before this storage of speculative value becomes used as a currency.
