I understand the restrictions. too many forums are filled with trolls. suppose this is one way to put a leash on em.

Unusual, but effective. Have been following this forum for a couple of months, and a measure like this really seems to be sensible regarding all the posters and flamers here.

Not all non registered members are newbies  . Some people has been reading this forum before register an account... Why is this method avoiding trolls? A troll can wait 5 hours. |

Efforts to filter trolls are quite laudable, but some people lurked a while before actually creating an account on this forum. (most Bitcoiners are privacy-minded, you know ) Shouldn't it be an idea to lower the 4 hour threshold a bit? I lurked a lot more here before I created my account. Cheers! |
